I insist that but for liquidity, this coy should'nt be were it is today, but what do i know. Much respect sir. ...but lets see how TIME settles the CAVERTON scores. Report can be 'cooked' you know! Understand their business, how they make profit, who their competitors are, what they have over their competitors, the board and management, corporate governance etc. Anyway, make I no talk! |

onegentleguy: My dear just smile and relax. ...For ACCESS is on its way to the SKY.
Btw, its time to board the CAVERTON airline folks !!. ...Some hot fingers have plans to feast here. ...Another small DF in the making. Frankly Caverton is fundamentally very sound. ...and but for liquidity, should be trading for no less than N4.5. ...lets hope that our 'hot fund brothers' can take it to its rightful abode.
DD always advised. ...Pls do well to read thru my signature below. Based on what na wa ooooo. |

pluto09: So much for your consistency, respect sir ! You said the same thing when O and O was selling at N22, I was one of those arguing with you on SMN then about the viability or otherwise of the company. Thank God I realized my folly early, cut my losses and moved on.
When some people talk about certain things of which they are more knowledgeable and experienced, you don't argue, you just listen. Yes, people will still make money in O and O but majority will loose their shirts. My Oga at the top, wetin I know ooo. There are may gamblers and emotional investors. When the bulls are here, everyone is an expert. When the bears surfaces, then you know who is who OandO sold above N100.00 ooooooo. If this is not a stock exchange but you want to OWN a company, will OandO be considered? Their venture to upstream coupled with total lack of corporate governance will be their undoing! What has happened to all their 'promises'? Where is the refinery they promised? What has happened to all the capital raisings? Where will the profitcome from? Prices of 'dead' companies are moving. Brokers have started to do 'pumping' and 'dumping'. Will money be made? Of course yes especially if you understand what is happening. If you need an oil company to invest in, look no further than SEPLAT! Seems NSE has increased tuition fee! Happy Investing (Gambling) |

Mpeace: Chai... I doubt if Loco has any drinking problem. His only problem is impatience. He sells too early. Imagine selling FCMB and warching it move immediately thereafter. Same thing with his threat to sell his transcorp. He can identify stocks but is not patient to grow with them. I bought some units of the same oando the day before yesterday. Its a gamble for me. With the way oil prices are going, I see promise in the stock. The only thing holding it is the suspension. The gamble is that if the suspension is lifted the stock will move if not, the money might remain stall or even vanish. If the suspension is lifted with minimal punishment it would be difficult for those outside to join. Anybody buying OandO is nothing but a GAMBLER living in hopeville! Was OandO's last account not qualified ?? |

sellydion: Oga sir, PE become irrelevant in some stocks( premium) because they keep going up YOY. Basing your decision ( not to buy because of high PE) on PE will definitely leave you stranded, while the stock continue to higher and better grounds.
I am not doing any peer comparison, just giving solo example. Not quite. You don't use PE in isolation. PE help in determining whether a stock is 'over priced'. There is usually a range of PE's in which stocks in certain sectors trade. Blue Chip stocks trade at a premium. Even Blue chip stocks have a 'premium range' in which they trade. Ask questions once the PE is outside that range . |

RabbiDoracle: Upl and Cutix.
Forget about caverton People are analysing UPL based on the Q2 result Hope you recognise the seasonal nature of its earnings. Q2 (July to Sept) is ALWAYS the best quarters. Other quarters are usually quite poor. They will likely make losses in the other quarters. Hope that is factored into your analysis. |

I have missed this bargain. Chai Some bad quarters led to poor results hence poor dividends. They had to do some restructuring. Need to check Dr Lekan Are's shareholding. Quite an illiquid stock. Learn Africa is also not doing badly. |

RabbiDoracle: I agree with you.
However the treat is still there.
Most kids now are gadget freaks. Once you give a 2 to 3 year old kid a phone, they are already sliding it upwards or sideways to open it. They are already opening games. They know what looks appealing to them and they touch to click. They are wired like that nowadays. A time will come when they will not want to carry books. They will just want to read e-copies of every book.
The time is drawing nearer. They are suppliers to government. The money is in school textbooks. Guaranteed income stream. UPL is recovering from some bad performance. |

Some huge volumes again in AIICO. Over 200m units. Something definitely is cooking here. Over 20m units also in Zenith. That's substantial. I expect 2018 to be another year that NSE will collect plenty tuition fees. Keep your eyes on the OIL PRICE. That's the ONLY indicator that matters in Nigeria. All the others are 'irrelevant' |

#StillStandingThough You paid your tuition fee and you graduated in flying colours. Those who never pay but are loud now, it is just a matter of time! When the bulls are here everyone is an expert. Watch out the number of rights and PO's. That is the first sign of the beginning of the end! You saw a new company listed and gaining 5%? What does that remind you off. Anyway. make we dey watch as people go dey buy dead companies because of some pumping and dumping. In another news, SEC DG suspended. SEC 1 vs 1 OandO |
