RomanceRe: He Sealed His Heart: Pls Help by whitelexi(m): 4:16pm On Jun 30, 2009
I feel sorry for u though, there's not much u can do if he said those words exactly. So, u have 2 options, choose wisely:

1) Give the dog a bone and leave the dog alone: stick with him and hope for the best or

2) Show him your right hand: Wave goodbye, leave a complimentary card and ask him to call when his situation changes.

Sometimes i think there's a serious stereotype with naija girls, like they were trained by the same rabbi or something, from the initial gragra stage up to the main course. . . I've only met a few girls who had a mind of their own!

I bet the current father of her kids is already paying child benefits and she needs some more cash for her welfare grin grin grin

RomanceRe: What Can Be More Stupid Than This In A R/s? by whitelexi(m): 3:14pm On Jun 26, 2009
No. . .  Seriously. Leave her for her family, they will still come into the picture again and again. I also have a problem with the girl doing as she was told - dating someone she didnt even know anything of, simply cos mummy and daddy said so. . .  She's obviously still dependent on them and at 19 will remain so for a long while.

Girls who cannot utter a complete sentence without mentioning something about their daddies or mummies are still kids and need to be left alone

RomanceRe: Must Every Woman Wear Something Fake To Look 'Beautiful'? by whitelexi(m): 1:42pm On Jun 26, 2009
luxoire:
i dont wear anything fake - no fake hair, no fake nails, no fake nothing (apart from the relaxer used on my hair)

i am just me, and i wear make up occassionally - so i am natural all the time every tiome - even my bf begs for a bit of lip gloss sometimes - but na vaceline i dey use - bless him

if you cant love me naturally, then you love an 'image' because what happens when all the add-ons come off and you dont like what you see?
That is such a lie tongue tongue tongue
RomanceRe: Secretly Competing Wit Another Girl Whom Your Man Seems To Fancy by whitelexi(m): 1:34pm On Jun 26, 2009
@Topic:

Reading through your entire write-up, i can already feel what is probably part of why he wants to leave u and move on with this Lukka. . . I like to read from both sides of the story but u already come across to me as boring - even without listening to the other side.

dot2002:
We've been together for a month and a half btw which isn't much compared to most but I'm tired of this happening to me all the time. Every relationship I'm in tends to end this way, meaning it always turns out bad in the end.

Well ,Is it me? Am I doing something wrong in the relationship? =/ Do you guys think there's anything he or I can do to save this or should I just give up hope on it? Oh and btw, he was the one that told me "I love you" first (why would he tell me that if he didn't mean it?!:[). I'm gonna have a talk with him on Tuesday when I see him at school about all of this. If he wants Lukka or me, I don't know. Right now I'm kindof numb and I just stopped crying so I'm at a loss at what to do,
I like the highlighted areas because it appears as if even u can see part of the problem. If this has been happening in all your relationships, then there's something u r definitely doing badly that other girls can do very well and easily snatch your men.
That is the key area u need to investigate.

This can mean just one thing; prices going down.
The prices r already taking a nose-dive, only 7 shares gained on wednesday, only 8 shares gained on thursday. . . Something is seriously wrong - so wrong that my broker called for a mandate to sell off my access bank shares with immediate effect.

@Post: If you're average height, and with amenities, then who can say u dont have it all in looks? I think what u have behind the looks is what will determine [more than anything else] how people percieve u though.

I think your friend might be envious
RomanceRe: She Doesn't Like To See Your Mom, Will You Continue Your Relationship With Her? by whitelexi(m): 9:03am On Jun 26, 2009

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Boyfriendless by whitelexi(m): 3:38pm On Jun 25, 2009
I'm thinking you might be too up-tight with guys, i say u need to loosen up a bit. Learn to unwind as in really unwind at the end of the day. Smile more, and focus on a conversation. . . Dont start talking all serious marriage shit too quickly - it drives good guys away when they think u r deperate to settle down. Dont quickly ask questions that may suggest u r materialistic like: what car do u drive? or where do u work and what do u do? Guys are getting wiser by the minute.

Know your target audience, know where they hang-out. . . If u hang out around a beer parlour in ajegunle - u know what you're asking for grin

Above all, be calm, relax and enjoy the ride. grin
RomanceRe: Pre-nup:what's Your Take? by whitelexi(m): 3:05pm On Jun 25, 2009
I remember the case between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, i think it was last yr. . .  GOSH, that woman is a thief! and the poor man must've suffered so much in her hands judging from the way she treated him in court. . .  She even spilled water on his lawyer, calling her a bitch - right in front of the judge! And for what? simply cos she didnt get half of his estate.

This is a woman who was offered £50m to settle out of court, but she wanted half of his £800m worth after only a few yrs of marriage - how do u even start to explain that? angry angry angry

she was only lucky to get just below £30m because of their daughter.

RomanceRe: Pre-nup:what's Your Take? by whitelexi(m): 8:39am On Jun 25, 2009
Marriage as we know it has started looking more like a business cartel where men [but especially women] who add absolutely nothing to a marriage walk away after a few yrs with nearly half of their spouse's life time savings or hard-work.

I think, going forward, pre-nups may be the way out as it places a restraining order upon whoever is involved in it, stopping them from having monumental claims if the marriage resulted in a divorce. It may also be a yardstick for measuring how much love actually exists in your union rather that what can be raked up from life insurance and net worth!
