Sorry, by on the average do you mean weekly? cos from analysis, you are allowed 120 full days or 240 half days in a year. so say u do 3 full days in a week and 8a.m to 5p.m of work, approx. 9 hrs, you should still earn almost 1000euro or a little more in a month. plus there still might be other side stuffs u could do. i'm just saying.. Or what do you think?
A half day is the equivalent of 0hrs to 4hrs of work a day, while a full day is 4hrs to 8hrs of work a day. You cannot work more than 8hrs a day as a foreign student, and 20hrs a week when school is in session (except you work in your school).

So if you work 3 full days in a week, how will you study? Don't forget the minimum wage (€8 per hour). So even if you work the maximum hours in a month (80hrs), with the minimum wage, that's still €640, a far cry from your "1000euro or a little more in a month".

Conclusion: You need to drastically reduce your lofty expectation(s).

Disclaimer: My use of the minimum wage here is just for exemplary purposes, and is by no means an indicator of what you (in particular) will earn.

EUROBOMBER:
I have carefully analysed recent events and taken time to study a lot of what happened before during and after the Biafran war.

The truth is that if the Igbos succeed in pulling out of Nigeria, the Niger Delta might not completely be part of the new country but they will definitely also seek to be on their own and manage their resources. This would effectively leave only the SW and the North in Nigeria. If it turns out this way, the Yorubas most likely would also gently ask to be left to be on their own. At the end of it all, we go our separate ways.

Let me quickly add here that Igbo land is much bigger than the Nigerian politically defined SE. Should Nigeria break today, all Igbo-speaking parts of the SS will be part of our new country. The Igbos will force no tribe to be part of us, we will accept those that want to stay with us and those that don't want to be with us will be free to stand on their own or join any other groups they so wish. I am saying this loud and clear so that some people will not come here and start shouting, "We are not part of your Biafra, leave us alone, leave our oil alone."

The Igbos can do very well without oil. There are many countries in the world without oil and are doing very fine. Germany is the most powerful economy in Europe today and they don't have a cup of crude oil there. Israel moved into a desert and converted it into a country very comfortable for habitation. The list is endless. Recent trends have also shown that oil is becoming worthless by the day. What really matters for a nation to be great is the quality of human resources available.

For the parts of the SS that would choose to be part of the new country, we can accept to run a regional system of government between the core Igbo states and parts of the Niger Delta. We can even accept a solution such that both regions would take 80% of revenue accrued within the regions and contribute 20% to the center. This the Niger Delta can never get in this present Nigeria.

For those people from the SS always shouting leave our oyel, I want to tell you that the Northerners are already drinking your oil and have even become drunk on it. You are shouting at Igbos to leave your oyel whereas Northerners are taking the same oil from under your nose and you can do nothing. How myopic and sentimental can some people be?

On a closing note, I believe in one Nigeria but one where there is justice, fairness & equity. For me, Buhari should hand over to an Igbo man if Igbos are truly part of Nigeria. We are part of the big three and too big to be ignored.
Is that how the presidency is done? Buhari should hand over to an Igbo man? Smh. Why not tell an Igbo man to have a strong nationwide campaign and WIN votes to become the next president? Get off your sense of entitlement. This is a democracy, and not a monarchy. If you win the election, you get the office. Peace

When people analyze on this thread, how it's easy in a city to get a job and the "Many people speak and understand English" i laugh at such stupid comment and spill my favorite Banana juice.

I'll repeat again and again, Are going for BSC or MSC in englisch, learn german up to B2 and welcome yourself to paradise.

IMHO, Some comments on this thread is purely based on someone reading alot online and dumping "#crap" here angry

Cheers.

But bros, while it will be ideal, it's almost impossible to "learn German up to B2" before going over there.
Yes, being the official language, a working level of German is necessary, but while I don't support people who paint an overly optimistic outlook on the German life, I believe you're being too pessimistic. #MyOpinion

I ve helped about 5 students get admission to different schools by d help of uni-assist and none was rejected. and I ve also applied for some people directly but only few were admitted.
I believe DAT uni assist plays a vital role in terms of gaining admission.
I personally don't think uni-assist helps people get admission. I believe people tend to run from it because of the fees, thus reducing the number of applicants and the competition. Coupled with the fact that they always ensure all requirements are met before forwarding to the school, one tends to have a good chance of getting admitted if the application was through uni-assist. not directly facilitated by them though.

Don't say that. If you have taught before, you'll know that no matter how hard you try, some pupils will remain daft... I remember during my NYSC, I asked the difference between a laptop and a desktop in a class test, and an SS1 student put these exact words as his answer:
"Desktop is the one that is used in the office and laptop is the one that is used for yahoo yahoo"

Documents you would need:
1) Admission letter
2) Letter sent to you by the bank containing account details
3) Any other letter (e.g accommodation offer letter) which must state that you were given accommodation in so so so place, and this usually comes included with account details. If it comes separately, attach it to the former.
4) Photocopy of your passport data page
5) NYSC discharge certificate
6) B.Sc. Certificate
7) Letter authorizing the bank to debit your account for the equivalent of the Euro you want to transfer.

Please note, all these should be copies.
Please concerning the bolded, does the bank need to sight the originals in order to perform the transaction? Or will only copies suffice?
Please note that I understand the copies will be submitted, I'm simply asking for sighting purpose.
Thanks.

you need any prove to show you going for masters, and the fees required.

Just go with bachelor certificate. Admission letter. Deutsche bank account informatioN show how much you should deposit. Requirements from embassy showing the block account sum of any. Next write a letter of authorization allowing fidelity bank or whatever bank to deduct the equivalent from your savings or current account. make sure to include the required account information to debit and amount.

That should be all.

I already done my interview. You could also add mail from embassy asking you to fund account if you already gone for your interview.
Ok. Thanks a lot... I asked because some people here have said the consulate will hold originals of your documents after the interview pending when your visa will be approved or rejected. So I'm just confused how I will show documents to the bank when they will be with the consulate.

Shaa, when I get to the bridge, I'll (hopefully) cross it.

By the way for block accout. fidelity exchange rate Used for me as at 14th July was approximately 222euro. So transaction should be less than 1.8million. I guess some banks use higher rate or rate changes every day
Please what document(s) are required for the fund transfer? And did you do the transaction before or after your visa interview?

A cousin of mine that passed outta secondary school last year wants to continue his university education in Germany. And from what i've seen and read here, it seems only Hnd, OND, and degree holders only get that chance. So i wanna ask if there is any institution that offers admission to SSCE students in Germany.

Anxiouly anticipating a reply from you guys. Thanks!

Cc. Eke40seven Justwise Obiwannn Obs3rver Williamso
The best your cousin can get is admission to studienkolleg, which is a 1-year pre-university program. On completion, he can then proceed to undergraduate studies. Do note that he'll need German proficiency of at least B2 (or is it B1?) before he can be considered.

My advice: Sit for A'level exams or get enrolled at a Nigerian university and complete 100L. Use this together with your SSCE to apply for English-taught undergraduate programs.

Bro,

1) You can only show financial means by depositing the required 8040 Euros in the blocked account. Even if you are Dangote's son, from what is clear, the embassy will only recognise your finances if you show them proof that you have deposited in DB. So try and transfer the money and wait for DB to send you a confirmation via email. However, proceed to your visa interview even if you haven't deposited the money.

2) I don't think you should worry so much about how long the funds will take to be transferred. However for the fastest transaction, I advice that you go to the head office in your state of First bank or any other bank that you intend to use. The process which involves obtaining a 'Form A' has already been discussed on the previous posts. Some people have said that they got a confirmation in just two days.
Bros, I think his question is hinged on the bolded. What document should he take to the interview as proof of financial means even as he is yet to fund the account.

Make no mistake, I'm with you on wanting subsidy eradicated and importation ceased. But comparing with the present situation we currently are, is this good or bad news? Answer that objectively and keep the answer to yourself.

How is this good news? Kindly explain please.
I'm going to be as brief as possible.
Giving licenses to fewer marketers who have the facilities to meet up their quota reduces the possibility of having paper companies that will import little or nothing and demand for bizarre subsidy payments.

Bring the complete list, you'll be shocked.

I've already seen the list of recalled ambassadors and they are 80% from SS/SE. What's the meaning of that?
Why don't you "shock" me with the list? No need to cast aspersions on uncertainties my friend. If you can't prove that no SS/SE owned company got a license, then the basis for your argument is flawed...

As for the ambassadors, please don't sound like a hate-blinded person. Ambassadorship in Nigeria is constitutionally guided by federal character. So for every SS/SE ambassador removed, a fellow compatriot will be his/her replacement...

Either your maths teacher should be flogged or you're deliberately being mischievous because they are not up to 80%

Which bank do you think offers the lowest rate for the transfer?
Simply walk into your intended bank(s) and inquire. These rates are not static and so nobody can give you a definite answer here. Even what bank A gives you today will vary with what they'll give you tomorrow.

This is good news. I hope due diligence was undertaken before the issuance of these 29 licenses. Gone should be the days where paper companies that can't even boast of a physical location or any logistic equipment are given import licenses...

1) U will submit ur passport but it will be given back 2 u after ur interview same.

2) I think most pple prefer using IGI insurance. Seems its preferable ( though I don't know much on this)

3)The question here is not too clear, do u mean when booking for appointment or packaging documents for visa application?
Well for booking an appointment u can use ur email printout(it can be a notification from uni-assist dat ur documents is been processed or a soft copy of ur admission letter wch u have to print out in a hard copy).
But for visa packaging u must present ur admission letter.

4)Certifying ur documents means that ur documents must be properly endorsed (stamped) by the High court.
PAUSE!!!
Are you sure about this? Because I can remember a lady here (either part 1 or very early in this part, can't remember her moniker) who is currently in TUM and said she never got the deadwood-copy admission letter sent by post, and thus, used the soft-copy for all her processing. So please, try and re-verify.
