More vegetables, more fruits, more water intake and frequent(daily) bowel movement. The veggies will help induce frequent bowel movements. So start requesting vegetable soup all the time so she cooks and eats it. |

flyingpig: So if I put up a product for sale now, and below it I attach a picture of myself holding a placard saying 'I am not a scammer', that will be convincing enough for you? . As a customer,I am not thinking that the person I am transacting with is a scammer but once I see that placard, I'm done!! Better to err on the side of caution. |

flyingpig: Write wetin on wetin? As a genuine seller, i would not be putting up a picture of myself holding a placard saying 'I am not a scammer'. He named himself 'Selfpaiid'. Nobody found it odd that there was an extra 'i'?? It's because he already has an abandoned moniker 'Selfpaid' and has probably used it to scam people too. Did no one here ask for a picture of what they were buying? No delivery fee? Abi after paying 2k for the decoder, he will use 1k from it to pay the bus driver or the courier? Let's stop making it easy for people to scam us. 8 Likes 1 Share |

engrrichie92: I felt this way. What I did? I proceeded on leave, and rested. Sometimes, i travel, see new places, ride a train, ride a boat, go swimming and just refresh myself.. When I return, it would not be so bad. Plus you will gain a lot of ideas for your personal life. I'm currently on leave. I wasn't ready to proceed on leave, but i realised that my morale was too low. Two days off now, and I'm feeling better. My brain is starting to think on it's own. |
Crime / Re: Rape: Izu Madubueze Reads Suicide Note Before Killing Self Over False Accusation by Winneygirl(f): 5:32am On Jul 28, 2020 |
It must have been very frustrating, to not know who your accuser was. He didn't rape anyone. He sent a bunch of messages to a girl he liked and they were not well received. He was prepared to apologise to whoever it was, but they wouldn't reveal themselves. And he was suffering. He was loosing everything he had worked so hard for and not even being given a chance to clear his name. People didn't make the distinction between sexual assault and 'non-physical sexual harassment ' and this was hurting him. . His whole life came crashing down, thanks to some unauthorised, poorly vetted sexual offenders list someone made in their house without any form of investigation. . The Nani girl and the 'anonymous accuser ' should be investigated and if found to be on the negative side of truth, be punished according to the law. 1 Like 1 Share |

I have been on both ends. The hot-hot and the quiet angry one. I tell you, the quiet one is the mature one. Because in that silence, I am able to articulate my thoughts and when everything is calm, I can talk it out, with clarity and without insults. Sometimes, you realize in your silence that the situation is not worth your energy and you move on. 1 Like |

Marriage is not a lifetime achievement. It is a new phase. Why quit a lucrative job that pays your bills and gives you a comfortable life to go and sit down in the name of marriage? Does marriage pay you salary? Does marriage pay your bills? While I believe this is a fake story, ladies should beware of men who ask them to quit their jobs. Most times, their income is not even up to what you earn from your job, but they will build a house with ego in the village. That is a life of suffering waiting to happen. 7 Likes 1 Share |
Business / Re: What Is Your Worst Business Investment And How Much Did You Lose? by Winneygirl(f): 11:06am On May 13, 2020 |
westerk: Thank you for this. I am a small business person myself, and have been in my business for about 2 and a half years. A lot of people get emotional about starting a business. They just calculate A - B= C. Voila!! This is not so. There's a lot of investment in terms of time, branding, logistics, advert and customer service and experience. There's also the battle of trend. A product that is selling highly today, tomorrow it is not even being looked at. You also have to know what is essential, what products are in high demand, do less of selling on credit. Sell value. Be careful about middlemen and proxies. They make most of the profit leaving you with peanuts. I'm still learning. I'm still growing. One other thing small businesses do is ignore record keeping. Even if it is tom-tom you're selling, you need records. Simple expenses and income record. I have record of everything I have bought/sold since inception. I always know my Month-to-date position, Year-to-date position, Overall business performance. I know when I make profit in a month, or when I made more expenses than income. I know how much I pay for transport/courier. I know my marketing/advert costs. I have a dedicated account for business funds and I pay myself a percentage of my profit for the month. Any month I don't make profit, no payment. That is the reality of the business. To earn more, you sell more and watch your costs. I use an app to keep these records and I have it backed up. My advise to most people is , start small and grow. You encounter smaller obstacles and you surmount them. You make smaller mistakes and learn from them, then apply the knowledge as you grow. You cannot start from the top. All the big businesses we envy today, didn't start where you met them. They grew! 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Family / Re: Should Parents With Little Kids Have Househelp by Winneygirl(f): 3:38pm On Apr 26, 2020 |
Too many stories with househelps. How do people feel comfortable using other peoples kids as househelps? . I prefer employing someone mature who would come by the house and do chores. Cleaning, laundry and errands and at the end of the day, closes and goes back to their house. Bringing in minors in the name of househelp is just slavery to me. 5 Likes |
Crime / Re: Nigerians Blame Banks For Negligence As Robbers Visit Homes With POS Machines by Winneygirl(f): 9:16am On Apr 22, 2020 |
We need to follow through with accountability. Report to the bank. Follow up with a police report. Get a court order to debit the fraudsters account. The bank will honour a court order. You don't expect the bank to just go chasing people who handle POS transactions. You do your part too. 1 Like |

Vickiyxx: The origin of your problems lie in your mind. If you keep believing that someone is using your destiny, it means that you believe you will be unable to achieve anything until they 'release' your destiny. Therefore, you will never give your best effort. Discard the notion that your Mother is after your downfall. You have never been up in the first place. Stop going to churches where they focus on witchcraft, witches, enemies. You will only remain in bondage. Free your mind. Tonight, think of where you can go and ask for a job. Even if it is to fetch water for someone and get paid, wash clothes, clean someone's house. Tomorrow morning, get up and go look for the job. This is where you should start. 2 Likes |

The situation with you and your sister is a result of poor parenting. However, you are an adult and you should be responsible for your life. Jumping from church to church will not solve your problems. If you spent that energy working odd jobs, you will gradually become a financially independent person. Your mother did not make her money by jumping from church to church. She worked for it. You too, work for your own money. . Lastly, I believe your attitude is very poor. You resent your family, you hate your sister and you insulted your father. Is this the attitude of a good person? |
