Continue saving until you decide.
Don't rush into any business, or investment with yeye promise of huge returns.

People complain about savings, but savings is your money guaranteed.
If you are not sure or very knowledgeable about any business/investment venture, protect your capital. There have been a lot of tears on these streets.
Forget marriage for now too.

We can certainly control our temperaments, one just has to train oneself.
I always studied my traits to improve on them, certainly know myself and my weaknesses, i don't even like how i was before in been temperamental, also i have come to appreciate sharing, sharing also creates bonds.

I believe you can do so much better, it may depend on your end goals, and your persistence, don't let anyone tell you what you can be or cannot be, reach out, we will make mistakes but we also learn.

I agree that we can improve on what we are. Be better as we mature. Be more sensitive, and more tolerant of other people as we age.
However, this OP declared himself 'a volcano waiting to erupt'. He has declared himself temperamental and very unwilling to share his personal space, his time or his resources, and did not display a willingness to change or improve.
No need to encourage him to marry anyone. Being alone suits him.

I've been thinking lately cos I am the type of person that loves his space.
I don't like sharing my things; I want my things to be as I kept them.

I am sensitive to words and very temperamental. I am like a volcano waiting to erupt anytime.

I hate being manipulated. I hate the entitlement mentality of some women.

I am an introvert and don't like crowd. I can stay indoors for a month or more as long as I got food, water, a charged phone with subscription. I go out for work and other essential duties.

They say every man got his type of woman. Do you think there's a woman that can match my temperaments?

NB: I respond well when a lady is good with sooting words and avoids arguments.
I love intimacy too although I'm not the romantic type but I can be generous if money is there.

I think the temperament is choleric.

Only you inside your personal space,
yet you are temperamental,
You are a volcano,
You are a hurricane,
You are a tornado,
You are a wild fire,
You are an earthquake,
You are not even romantic...
Therefore, marriage is not for you!!!

Career biko.

No one was born into this world to be a spectator.
You can make something of your life.
People are talking about taking care of children. Children will grow up and leave the parents behind.
Children are not a retirement plan. Anyone thinking their children will "take care" of them in old age should ask themselves, "am I taking good care of my parents in their old age"? There are many retired parents who are still paying school fees for their children.
Do you know what the future even holds? Please build a source of income for yourself and your wife for old age. Your old age is only as sweet as your income at that time.

Career for both man and woman!!!

You're right here but i also don't think this will be her first road trip.

For the RV/Campers, some have enough space for bed, kitchen, bathroom but little water. What they do most times is when they move from state to state, they restock, refill gas and refill water tank and sometimes takes like two days break at Motels.

Road trips can be expensive but beautiful.

It looks good on social media but nahh....Not for me.

You're kind of wrong here sis, the girl just hooked up with the wrong guy.
There are thousands of lovers/couples living in vans, trucks, and motorhomes. Travelling and crossing borders from Wyoming rockies to Washington to Canada to Alaska.
Even in Europe, from Finland to Sweden and to Norway.
I check many of them on YouTube.
Most quit their jobs, sold properties for the trip and can take Months.
One the best experience/memory you can have if you love to travel
The guy is just Evil.

You sure??
With no/limited access to bathroom facilities, proper food, heating/cooling facilities, comfortable beds, and poor connectivity?
Doesn't sound romantic to me.
I feel she should have started small. One week...2 weeks...return and plan another trip.
It takes a while to get to the stage of spending months on the road.

I have been following this news since day 1. Thing is,the guy Brian didn't actually killed her
at a spot but rather he beat up to an extent and abandoned her in the wilderness ie Campsite, drove back to Florida, leaving her to die slowly from her pains. She was still alive when the guy drove off. If there had been any help for her,she could of survived. But no help came her way

Kai! I thought this way too o. But i then started to think that if she was in plain view, she would have been found quicker. But he must have killed and buried/hidden her body, then drove off with her van. That video those bloggers gave of the van, they were no where in sight. I doubt both of them would have wandered far. That must have been the time he was burying the body.
I believe he called his parents and they hired a lawyer even before he arrived home.

Education / Re: Accept 2.2 Or Have A Spilled Over For You to get 2.1 by Winneygirl(f): 9:29am On Sep 22, 2021
Irijosa777:
I wrote my final exam in July this year, few weeks later I was in Delta when my course adviser called me to come to school (Uniben), that it's a matter of urgency, I went to school, then I meet her in the HOD office. She told me I failed two courses in my final exam. She said the department is going to upgrade one to "grin" then wave the other one to me but by imprecation I will graduate as a 2.2 student.
When, I thought about it if I should accept it or come back again to write the two courses (one in 1st semester and the other in 2nd semester) to get 2.1. it was a hard decision for me to make but then I made the decision to accept the offer because of the following reason.
1. Uniben is becoming too stressful/ I'm already tired.
2. The financial expenses involved
3. Economics department in Uniben is not a joke.
4. The probability of me getting "A"s if rewrite the two courses is very low.
5. ASUU and strike
Based on the following reasons I accepted the offer, result came out I graduated as a 2.2 student but some how I started feeling sad. Though 2.2 is not the best but then I also graduate myself. I can't come and kill myself ( schooling in Nigeria university is like war).
If I may ask, did I took the wrong decision?
Opinions please!

You made the right decision. Graduate and move on to make something of your life.
Many people with masters degree yet have no jobs. No be by 2.2.
Go and learn a skill. Learn general business sense and start doing something with your time.

I have been following this for over a week since she was declared missing.
Unfortunately, the guys parents shielded him and he is in hiding. But he cannot hide for long.
Not with the publicity surrounding this.
There is no romance living in a van traveling through bushes and creeks in the hot weather with limited resources. This must have impacted them psychologically. Plus she said he never believed she could make it as a travel blogger. He just tagged along for the possible publicity he would get. She would have been better off alone on the trip, or with just friends.
I want him to be found. I want him to answer for his crime.
I'm just angry that the girls parents had to beg and beg for the location of their daughter for 2 weeks when his family knew that he had killed her. That family deserves jailtime.

Immature girl.
Immature guy.
Immature child.

You will make a great family.
I will leave you with this poem.

There was a mad man,
And he had a mad wife,
And they lived all in a mad lane!
They had three children all at a birth,
And they too were mad every one.
The father was mad,
The mother was mad,
The children all mad beside;
And upon a mad horse they all of them got,
And madly away did ride.

Business / Re: FIRS Appoints Banks To Recover N1.8trn Taxes From DSTV by Winneygirl(f): 2:25pm On Jul 08, 2021
Anyone who believes this does not know what FIRS does to businesses.
Firstly, they are only now trying to digitize the process.
There is no reason why they should not have an online portal where companies can file their tax returns. It is largely manual.
You need to go to their office monthly to file tax returns.
Even after filing for years, because they do too much paper work, they'll wake up one day and claim that your business has not paid any tax since inception. It will now be on you to start providing proof of payment from inception.
They will fine you for any period you are unable to show filing for.
This FIRS position is just bogus! They want to milk DSTV/Multichoice dry.

When I was going through a heartbreak, I couldn't understand why we weren't on the same page. I stumbled on the song
'If the world was ending': JP Saxe & Julia Michaels.
It really helped me put things in perspective.
It's important to have someone looking out for you, and I couldn't count on him to do that. It put things in perspective for me and I moved on.

For me
Winking, cutting eye, whistling is disrespectful. If you have nothing to offer, try this.
Staring unnecessarily, pervy. If you're pervy, try this.

Starting a conversation, introducing yourself and finding a common ground is mature.
If you want a meaningful engagement, try this.

Business / Re: Mobil Filling Station, ₦10,000 & POS Wahala: How Can I Resolve This Issue? by Winneygirl(f): 9:22am On Jun 24, 2021
Your complaint should be to your bank.
How many times were you debited.
Print your statement for it and be clear that the amount was not reversed.
Your bank can re-open the complaint if you insist that you were debited for a failed POS purchase with evidence.
.
You can also apply for a funds recall from the account that you transferred to.
All those advising you to go and engage EFCC, to go and fight at the station don't know how to resolve anything.
Also note that the manager of the filling station might not be in charge of accounts, so he may not have access to check the stations bank account.

Hmm. , the signs are always there but sometimes we ignore the warnings to stop those actions that will bring disgrace to us and our families or even death to us. The man died in disgrace. Some women know their husbands have this weakness but still carelessly leave their husbands to walk into dangerous relationships that can kill him or both of them even through STI like HIV. A 2-week camping with a strange woman can never escape detection of a wife 100% involved in the daily life of her husband. It's so sad he died such a violent death and I pray he gets justice in death. Imagine his children and their friends hearing the way their adulterous dad died in the hands of a strange live-in-lover woman who is not their mother.visit www.FreeStuffsNG.com for latest freestuffs in Nigeria.

So you are blaming the wife for the actions of a fully grown 50 year old man?
When will men stop acting like women are responsible for them? Can't you all just be responsible for your own lives??

true, I've come to know that marriage chemistry has to have a chemistry Union between both your feelings and peace of mind

I'm the type that loves to build my woman to my taste as far as she's willing to go the extra mile for me (that is if she loves me)

the first one looks ok, but do she love you or think of you as someone homely too

before embarking on such journey as marriage you bed to cover and secure all the roads successfully so that you're sure to live a happy life forever

The first mistake you are making is to think that you will 'build a woman to your taste'.
You want to change her from what she is to something you have in your mind as your ideal woman. There can never be true happiness in that union.
Instead of you to look for a lady that matches your 'taste', you want to take someone and 'mold' them into what you want. What about what she wants? You're not even considering that.
You just sound like an oppressor. You are already planning all the work she will have to do by "going the extra mile" for you.
Just say you're looking for a slave.

...there is nothing salvageable in the marriage...if the lady could sleep with someone, boldly declare that she did it and ask for a divorce, then they have had all the communication necessary and the marriage is already terminated...the man needs to let her go, dedicate sufficient time to healing, join functional social groups that would be a good buffer for him and move on!
