Exactly. And this is because Ukraine ,until recently, has not been a member state of NATO. It's just because of Russia's annexation of Crimea that made them join NATO. Although, the US is going to get directly involved in this war, in my opinion. Theyve been looking for ways to engage countries like Russia and China for some time now. You are just being unreasonably sentimental. Putin has the support of the Russian people on this. Russians don't want to be surrounded by the enemy. Ukraine is just next door to Russia, in fact 30% of Ukrainians are ethnic Russians, so there are fears that Ukraine joining NATO would have serious security implications for Russia.

The reason he annex Crimea is because Crimea people are ethnic Russians and have very close family ties to mainland Russia. It's like biafra seceding and leaving Anioma in Nigeria. Anioma will perpetually be a source of conflict.

It's not about just fear of defeat , the collateral damage will be so great that no country would wish to go in for it. Russia can't surrender even when NATO joins the fight , meaning mutually assured destruction MAD will be activated by any side that see it loosing the conventional way. The USA has great advantage over the Russian side using conventional weaponry and with it's vast anti missile defense shield in Europe but unconventional dogfights will results in MAD and World war III. The US can't risk it's Homeland security for a 200 billion economy, rather it will bring it's economic might to bear and crumble the Russian economy. Ukraine should have joined NATO when other former Soviet states joined, bad situation for them.

Why? What was the reason NATO was formed and do those reasons still exist today? Maybe Russia should join NATO also.

The US and the West cannot directly get involved in a Russian-Ukraine war. No American wouod support sending boots into Ukraine. The best they can do is protect other NATO allies and support the Ukrainian military with materials and logistics.

I am certain Russia would not use nuclear weapons but only if Russia itself is threatened. No one can win a nuclear war. Both Russia and the US has enough nuclear power to destroy the world 6 times over. So Russia will only use nuclear as a last resort if it's very existence is threatened.

1.Historically, Russia has been easy to invade because it has a very wide border, and the border is difficult to defend. As a result, it has suffered bad invasions (The Mongols really burnt russia to the ground centuries ago...which is why the Russians reduced mongolia to a nice quiet puppy....)

2.So Russia always actively interferes in its neighbours affairs, to get governments that favour them in office. If that does not work...invasion.The aim is to get a buffer against agressive European and American powers.

3.Ukraine used to be part of the old Russian empire and the old Soviet union. It is also regarded as the birthplace...sorta...of the Russian nation.

4.Ukraine, and other Eastern European nations don't want to be Russia's buffer...so they are signing up with Europe and the US.

5.Russia feels threatened...and as a result, war.

Basically, Russia wants a buffer. They do not want Napoleon, or Hitler...part 2 coming across their border. (The mongols have been reduced to nice puppies, and central asia is a mess. China doesn't want to invade Siberia anyway.

You agree with me that Putin's fears are justified. If Ukraine should join NATO, then Russia would be surrounded by arch enemies. Then US and NATO would be free to have a military base next door to Moscow.
Remember the Bay of Pigs? US was prepared to invade Cuba and start a direct war with Russia because the Russians were building a military base in Cuba next door to Florida.

People would rather damn the consequences as long as the movies protrays the shortest route to making money is through ritualism. They would be fascinated by the thrill on the face of their celebrity actor throwing money up the air than any punishment that may come after.

Another thing is that people are aware that the consequences are not real or just make believe, because they still see the actor either in real life, in the media or in other movies after his supposed death/madness. But on the other hand, they still see the actor living a luxurious life even after the movie (even if the luxurious life is fake). So their minds still hold the belief that the actor made money from ritual money. Not exactly accurate. Nollywood moves that portrays blood money or yahoo money spend very little time portraying the sad/disastrous endings. They spend 40% of the time showing how much poverty and suffering the main character passed through. They then spend another 40% of the time showing the enjoyments and benefits the blood money brings the main character. Finally they spend less than 3 to 5 minutes showing the main character going mad, terminally sick or dying.

The enjoyment scene stays more in the minds of viewers than the brief sufferings scenes the main characters were subjected to.

Now I am painfully aware that most cardiologists today dont know what they are doing. Attached is his ECG he posted via email ( thats his feet not mine hehe ) . Now from the ECG we can see borderline R wave progression, ST segment elevation in leads V3 AND V4 AND V5 AND V6 as well as LEAD 1 telling me there is an anterior and lateral wall artery blockage. Also we have T wave inversion in lead 3 and finally there is LEft ventricular hypertrophy going on.

IN CONCLUSION this client has blockage of an artery supplying the anterior and lateral wall of the left ventricle and this has caused his left ventricle to exert itself and get bigger. The artery blockage is the proximal portion of the Left Anterior Descending Artery and this has caused Left Ventricular Hypertrophy. Now when he takes this diagnosis anywhere they know what they are doing easily and it is an easy fix.

If this is the case, the girl has every right to know before marrying that guy.

Why will your mind go to sexual abuse? Why are you imagining the worst case serenio. That being too negative. I doubt it has anything to do with sexual abuse, else the mother and family would not be comfortable asking the proposed wife to intervene. I suspect its either physical abuse or financial misunderstandings.

I don't necessarily support an ultimatum, but I support holding off the marriage until the girl knows what the real bone of contention between her boyfriend and father is.

My cousin got married in England at a registry, but the traditional marriage was done in my uncles house without their presence. It shows respect for both families and both parents were involved.
