I've read the article and I've come to the conclusion that this thread was wholly unnecessary; all they said, to paraphrase, was that 'Biafra doesn't belong to the Igbos alone' and that 'the name Biafra was created by a man from a minority tribe'. All these are in fact true as it was not only the Igbos that fought on the Biafran side and it would be disrespectful to disregard the minority soldiers that fought and died for Biafra by claiming that it is only for the Igbos. Now that I've read it, I don't actually think that they're trying to attach themselves to the non-Igbo South-South minority tribes; they're simply trying to be as inclusive as possible for those who'll want to join them. If they were trying to force the whole of the South-South into Biafra then why are they demanding a referendum? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to just take the whole region without asking what the people want?

The fact that 100 or even 1000 non Igbo south south people fought on the side of Biafra dies not mean anything. Much more fought on the side of Nigeria. Most prominent sons and daughters of the south south never supported Biafra. The whole idea of Biafra started as results of reprisal attacks on Igbos in the north after the I'll fated coup that was viewed as an igbo coup, so watin concern non Igbo tribes for Biafra?

Graduating with a pass from Nigerian law school is no big deal, especially for students coming from foreign institutions. They find it hard to cope because the curriculum and legal system is different. Lots of students coming from US and UK usually fail law exams the first time.

Besides there had been lots of brilliant and successful lawyers lawyers that graduated from law school with a pass. The indefatigable Gani Fawehinmi was a good example.

The Bible also attest to the eternal nature of God. Only that you choose not to believe the Bible.

Your god is eternal and not bound by time is just an houdini style excapist argument. It does nothing to answer the question. It does not answer the question of who created god or when it started to exist. If you say it solves the question of infinite regression, it does not. Why does the regression have to stop at your god? Why does it not stop at his creator or even the universe itself.

The universe could be eternal, needing no creator. The universe itself is outside time and space because space and time is a consequence of an expanding universe, before the universe started expanding, there was nothing like space and time.

Theist/atheist debates are always a time wasting endeavour, no one can change sides as a result of such encounters. Theists always employ the " heads I win, tail you lose" maxim. If a scientific process is well understood like the cell or germ theory, the theists jump in and claim that because the process is understood to be very complex validates their God and only their God came create or design such complexity. If on the other hand a process or phenomena is not yet fully understood and remains a mystery, the theist will still use that to validate their God. The theists will say that the fact that scientists do not understand the mystery means their God is great.

Not exactly correct. The S gene is an attempt by humans to resist malaria. Therefore people with one S genotype has reasonable resistance to malaria. People with SS genotype has very high resistance to malaria. It is people with AA genotype that have absolutely no resistance to malaria.

You should realize that evolutionarily, we are newcomers as we have been here for less than 100,000 years, meanwhile plasmodium falciparium and vivax have been on earth for hundreds of millions of years. I believe given a few tens or hundreds of thousands of years more, we will evolve to resist the malaria parasite.
