tunderay:Abeg show me this evidence that is so damning. Buying Dubai properties is not like buying drugs, all the transactions are documented. The companies and the Dubai government has the details of all transactions for tax purposes, so I do not understand why you people made it seem like a mission impossible to get access to such information. Besides, Bututai is said to have declared the property on assuming the role of COAS. If Burutai wanted to hide the property from the public, he would not have used his name to purchase the said property, he would have simply used a distant family member or a trusted friend |
crixtex:But you talk as if you are sorely pained that Fayose is being investigated. There are evidence that Fayose received money from Dasuki, EFCC said they have evidence of how the monies were flown from Lagos to Akure, EFCC has evidences against all the dramatis personae in the illegal transfers , some are even prepared to testify against fayose. Now in the Burutai's case, what are the accusations before you start talking about investigation? Buying properties in Dubai is no crime, buying properties from proceeds of a crime is a crime. You have to prove that Burutai and his wives bought properties in Dubai from proceed of a crime. Sahara reporters or anybody else has not shown any evidence that Burutai has commuted any crime. Nobody has petitioned EFCC with documentary evidence that Burutai has committed a crime. You want EFCC to instigate Burutai and his wives solely based on Sahara reporters suspicions and insinuations? |
crixtex:So you are insinuating that if General Buratai is not investigated, then no other Nigerian should be investigated again. Are you suggesting we close down the courts, send all prisoners home and shut the prisons? |
This Buratai's "mansion" accusation had been over thrashed. This new " emerging new details" has not said anything new. This is my earlier response to the topic; Corruption fighting back. I am certain this incoherent blabber is from Fayose and his cohorts. BADNEAT:I think majority of our youth need to go back to secondary school and retake English Comprehension. Reading this article show no evidence of any property bought by Burutai. As this news website exclusively revealed last week, General Buratai and his two wives in 2013 paid the sum of 1,498,534.00 AED (N120 million/$419,000) for the first property, Project TFG Marina Hotel Unit 2711. Sale documents indicated that the first property was handed over to the Buratais on January 13, 2013.That General Buratai and his two wives bought a property valued at N120,000,000 is a vindication of the general's relative modesty in the Nigerian context. Compared to other general in any of the armed forces, this is chicken change. Imagine what general Ihijerika or general minimah and their wives is worth. On July 13, 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari appointed General Buratai as Chief of Army Staff. Our investigations show that, within 11 days of his appointment, the general was making arrangements for the purchase of a second property from the same company in Dubai. Our investigators obtained evidence that, between July 24 and August 17, 2015, General Buratai paid a total sum of N42.2 million into TFG Sigma 111’s account in Nigeria (Skye Bank 1770380452).Where is the evidence that General Butatai paid money into TGF Sigma's account? What are the details of the said second property? Our sources within the Army disclosed that the lodgments came from Army funds stolen and diverted by General Buratai. They explained that the diverted monies were taken from funds budgeted for the feeding, medical care and payment of allowances of soldiers fighting the war against Islamist insurgents in Nigeria’s northeast zone.Proof? This is just wild speculation. Was Buratai directly responsible for soldier's welfare and when was this? Before he became COAS or the one week after being appointed Army chief when he is alleged to have paid for the second property. Please note that the said first property bought by general Buratai and his two wives is not a multi million dollar luxurious mansion as being promoted by wailers, it is an investment scheme Dubai has been promoting for over a decade. They sell you luxury apartments or hotel rooms of various sizes, they then manage the property on your behalf by renting out the property to holidaying guests. You also have the option of staying in the room/apartment whenever you travel to dubai instead of renting an hotel room. After a period of about 5 years, you are expected to recover back your investment. From the pictures posted by the OP, I cannot see the mansion and multi million naira farm owned by General Buratai near Abuja. https://www.nairaland.com/3192817/buratai-bought-second-dubai-property/3#47003946 |
PDP and wailers are just clutching straws. They are holding unto any twig in their attempt to stop drowning. One a PDP is accused of corruption, instead of them to plead their innocence and prepare their defense, they embark on counter accusations by accusing members of APC , key members of the administration and buhari's family members of corruption, as if that will make a good defense argument in a law court. Some of their accusations are simply absurd like the one against Aisha buhari. This Buratai's accusation is not even coherent. What are the accusations, first they say he embezzled money ment for officer's welfare, then they say he mismanaged the money meant for purchase of vehicles. Even the person that made the accusations in sahara reporters failed to provide any evidence of corruption, the person only provided evidence that General Buratai bought properties in Dubai, which in itself is not a crime. |
ghostmist:Forget unity, there is no unity anywhere in the world not even within specific clans. Somalia country with a single ethnic group is the most politicaly devided country in the world. What we need is unity of values and ideas |
redsconsult:The nigerian politicians do not represent the average Nigerian, they are picked from the dregs of the society - former drug dealers, thugs and criminal civil servants. Brilliant, innovative and sincere Nigerians like ymodulus and others will not be allowed to get near the political space, not even local government councillor. We cannot change the constitution without changing the politicians, the current politicians are ready to fight to the end to preserve the status quo, where only them spend 70% of all our earnings plus borrowings, while even the 30% that was supposed to be spent on us is looted. For example after the Brexit vote, the British people has to change their politicians, they know that the present politicians who benefitted from Britain being in Europe cannot lead them out of Europe. The difference is that changing politicians in Britain is easy unlike what we have in Nigeria where politicians are ready to fight to the death to remain in office. |
redsconsult:The politicians are the ones that imposed this fraudulent structure, that only favours them on us, and they are vehemently opposed to changing it. You cannot change the present structure of the Nigerian state without changing the current politicians. |
Ogonimilitant:The revolution has started. The next phase is to get rid of all criminal politicians, whether they are from our tribe, our religion or even our family. The Nigerian youth seem to be waking up from their slumber. |
Ymodulus, you should be a model for Nigerian youths, you do not have time for APC/PDP senseless fights, you do not engage in wailers/zombies debate and I have never seen you waste time discussing IPOB/Avengers/ Boko Haram. You do not even have time for tonto dike, tiwa savage or davido gossips. While other youths are wasting their time in churches, crusades, night vigils, fellowships, etc, You just spend your energy on improving your life and that of others. If we could get just 100 of your type in Nigeria, we would be on our road to renaissance. agarawu23 , ayo7 and hadura39, I have a proposal for you. Join hands with ymodulus to make this your generosity a more permanent thing. I am sure there are many fairly well to do Nigerians who want to also give a token to help desperately poor Nigerians. You can create a platform where such people can donate and between yourselves determine Nigerians who deserves to be helped. I think it would make better sense for Nigerians to donate to such worthy cause than to pay tithes to already wealthy pastors. On a lighter note, due to the present economic hardship, below are pictures of Nigerians protecting their food.

whirlwind7:Gbam! You hit the nail on the head 90%. Where you made an error is to assume you require unity for a successful revolution. No, you do not require unity of ethnicity or religion to achieve revolution. What you need is unity of Values and unity of purpose. The US was not UNIFIED before the American revolution. A revolution is actually an idea, it is a means of achieving an ideology. On what ideology will a Nigerian revolution be based? the right to solely control and enjoy our natural resources? The problem with Nigeria is that we have wrong values and Ideology. We all want to make money, enjoy life and live ostentatious lives without working for it. The minute we change this mind set, then the revolution has began. |
My advice to the OP and fellow Nigerian youth; Use your Education, training, skills and resources to innovate and create. The reason you go to school is to enable you acquire knowledge and skills to create value for yourself or another person (your employer). The fact that you wrote this; At least if light dey, I go watch TV, I go the chat with phone, connect with people so as to forget my plenty sorrowsmeans you have got your priorities wrong. So who is going to pay for the electricity you will use for to watch TV, chat with phone and connect with people? We are now operating a capitalist system, government is not expected to give you electricity or any other service. The electric companies have been sold and now in private hands, just like telecommunications, so hold the DISCOS or GENCOS responsible or the person that sold our power infrastructure to them. There are tons of simple services and goods you can create to make money. Some Illiterate Hausas started the practice o using plain CD with L.E.D. and batteries in a wooden frame as crude touch before the chinese started making recharge lamps and lanterns for us. Meanwhile we have graduates of Electrical engineering looking for Jobs in government offices and banks. My friend who graduated from electrical engineering in the 90s was making tons of money just repairing UPS for companies. His one room boysquarters was fill to the brim with UPS. It is a shame that the telecom companies have to resort to importing technicians from South Africa and India to repair and maintain their telecoms equipments (both hardware and software). Even at personal level, i have a boy who has never been to a tertiary institution, who on his own violation come to my office at least once a month to check on my computer systems. I pay him for jobs done. Get off your daddy's couch and phone and make yourself useful. |
Don't feigning helplessness. Contact the office of the public defender with your evidence and report the case at http://familysupportng.com/?page_id=301 You can also use the Police complain contacts in the picture below. Do it today.

ugohemma:Biggest fallacy of the century. No attack on Israel? No month passes by without an attack on Israel. The Israeli - Palestine conflict is not a religious in any way, it has been century old conflict over land ownership, and until it is resolved, it will linger for centuries more. The Palestinians are not trying to convert the Jews to Muslims. |
Judeoxide:Israel has the mighty US and as its protector and ally. Who is going to protect Biafra from its enemies? |
Pedrop:Just one unstable country can destabilize all surrounding countries and beyond. An unstable Afghanistan provided base for Al-Qaeda to destabilize Pakistan and the whole of the middle east. An unstable Somalia has serious consequence on Kenya. An unstable Libya destabilized Mali and even Nigeria. Boko Haram, even without a base yet has a destabilizing on not just Nigeria, but also Cameroon, chad and Niger. Imagine if Boko Haram is able to establish a base in the north east, you think your so called Biafra would have peace? |
apcisevil:You think that if Boko Haram takes over south east and establish their caliphate there, Biafra will be safe? I am amazed at your ignorance. |
chivic:So would you have preferred kachukwu to be retained as the GMD and have another person appointed as the chairman of the board? It is wrong to have the same person as the chief executive and the chairman of the board of director of an organization. |
TheFreeOne:According to the presidential system of government, the president is the minister of ministers. All executive powers reside in the president. According to Buhari, ministers are simply people he sends to make some noise. |
RedCapChief:Ibe kachukwu is as good as the substantive minister of petroleum, because he reports to no other person than the president. All ministers report directly to the president, who has the final say in any matter he chooses to. |
bayooooooo:Not just friends, chief Pius Akinyelure was Tinubu's boss at Mobil, he was finance director and Tinubu was chief accountant. |
SeverusSnape:I did not know that according to wailers, Dr Thomas M.A John, Dr Pius O. Akinyelure, Dr Tajuddeen Umar are core northerners. Why not give use names if core southerners who are more qualified. |
KingEbukasBlog:This post concludes what this whole thread is about. The bolded word gives away the essence of all of kingebuka's arguments. They are what he thinks, his thoughts and fantasies. At least he confessed that they are not Christian dogma or bible teachings. |
realmindz:I think religion leads to a condition known as cognitive dissonance, a situation where someone looses touch with reality. This explains why a Muslim fundamentalist would blow himself/herself apart because promise of enjoyment in heaven or kingebuka is ready to kill his reasoning faculty to make his own version of Paradise. Kingebuka thinks differences in races shows only in skin colour. He is completely ignorant of the fact that races can be differentiated by height, eye colour and shape, bone texture, hair texture and length and all physical features. There are lots of negroids that have lighter skin than some Caucasians. |
KingEbukasBlog:This post qualifies for the dumbest post of the century. This post reeks of so much ignorance that you calls to question the cognitive ability of the writer. So kingebuka is insinuating that Adam and Eve were of different races when they were made. I thought the Bible implied that Eve was a clone of Adam, meaning their genes must be identical, since a sample (rib) was taken from Adam to create Eve. How then did their genes contain different genes to produce children of different races. Since Adam's genes are supposedly identical to Eve, their children should be exact replica of the parents, unless you are saying the genes of the children became different through mutation (evolution) The moral lawgiver permitted incest then because it was moral then, but the same moral lawgiver then repented and made incest immoral. So is incest fundamentally moral or immoral? |
KingEbukasBlog:God does not repent? Then please explain the following verses; Genesis 6:6 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Exodus 32:14 14 And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. 1 Samuel 15:35 35 And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel. Sit down and get schooledWhere did you get all gibberish you wrote up there. It looks a story from a fantasy novel like The Chronicles of Narnia. |
KingEbukasBlog:God is against Incest in this dispensation but supported it in the last dispensation, meaning he has repented. What about the next dispensation, will he change his mind again? |
KingEbukasBlog:Most atheists, especially those with scientific background would frown at incest, not just between humans but also between all animals. It degrades the gene pool as offsprings of such relationships suffer serious genetic degradation. Even the dynasty of the great Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamen was ended due to incest. The irony of your question is that the Jewish religion which is the progenitor of Christianity promoted and encouraged incest. Abraham married his half sister, Isaac, his son married his cousin. I do not even want about Noah who slept with his daughters. |
Richirich713:And what do you mean by " just for pleasure and not for procreation,," are you telling us that you can separate sexual activities for strictly pleasure from those that can lead to procreation? |
hopefulLandlord:And how can you be 100% certain that pregnancy would not result from any sexual relationship? No contraceptive is 100%, not even condom. |
Zzyco:What are we to bläme the devil for? How many humans had ever been killed by the devil? What evil thing has the devil done to humans? Bible references please |
Which masterstroke? ike Ekweremmadu could not masterstroke when he sits down with fellow senators (including Fulani and Yoruba senators) to share constituency projects . Senator Ike Ekweremmadu did not remember to wear Igbo traditional attire to the senate when collects over N40 million per month as deputy senate president ( for the past 6 years ), it is now he is having issues in the power play between the political elites he remembers to masterstroke to deceive the youth. |

Buhari should resign too as president and become APC chairman.
