Jarus: Can we start with:That's also a good idea but I'm afraid it might not really work out this year, unless the awareness start now. I will chat with you on whatsapp when I'm less busy in the evening for us to discuss better (hope u are still using your whatsapp?). Jarus: Ok. Understood.I will also join you in the organising and mobilising online, the way I did last year. |
Jarus: I'm not sure anything is changing in the old modalities which everyone is familiar with.Wow! How time fly, so is already a year we had Season 4; Alhamdulillah for sparing our lives since the last Ramadan till now. I will suggest we use this thread for Season 5, since is the same programme. @ Jarus and Maclatunji. I think we should think about some new concept we can include in this programme, it shouldn't just be about meeting once or twice during Ramadan every year alone. We can really work out somethings that will be beneficial to all the Muslim brothers and sisters on Nairaland. I remember I raised such issue at Jarus residence last year but time could not let us deliberate on it well. Let us all think about things that will be beneficial to Islam and everyone of us; so that we can always plan it along with this programme. I believe we can achieve more with this programme. May Almighty Allah let us witness the forthcoming Ramadan in good health, and also continue to guard and guide us (Amin) |
Juma'ah Mubarak to all Muslim brothers and sisters... May the blessings and mercy of the day be upon us all and Almighty Allah favour will never cease in our life. |
Juma'ah Mubarak “No mercy will be shown to those who show no mercy, and no forgiveness will be given to those who cannot forgive others.” [Bukhari] The best of mankind are those who forgive easily and overlook the mistake or sin of others... Let us all strive hard to always overlook and forgive in order for people to appreciate the beauty of Islam through us. Almighty Allah will make it easy for us and also continue to guide and guard us aright (Amin). |
Juma'ah Mubarak... "When life turns into a COMPLICATION, sort it out with SUPPLICATION, Prayer is the best weapon, raise your hands and make Dua" Almighty Allah will continue to guide us aright (Amen). |
Juma'ah Mubarak... "May Almighty Allah strengthen our Imaan so that we can handle the struggles and challenges of life and have patience. Almighty Allah will keep us safe and the entire Muslim ummah". May we witness more of this SPECIAL DAY on earth! |
Chiefupper: if our fellow muslim ummah cn exercise patience, blv mi sincere all d haterz of islam wil later b loverz of islam, dis is ao d prophet conquered f whole world,ma'asalamRight on point bros... If only we can be more tolerance and be a good muslim in order to encourage people to make research and study about ISLAM; so many people will be convinced to the right path. Almighty Allah even order us in the Holy Qur'an to be patience and argue with people about our religion in a orderly manner that will attract them to study more about our religion. May Almighty Allah continue to guide and guard us towards the right path. QUR'AN 16: 125 - 128 Invite all to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching. And argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious... And if you punish, let your punishment be proportional to the wrong that has been done to you. But if you show patience, that is indeed the best course. Be patient, for your patience is from God. And do not grieve over them, or distress yourself because of their plots. For God is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good. |
"I am sorry, O Prophet." Former Dutch Islamophobe Arnoud Van Doorn, who helped produce a film attacking the Prophet Muhammad and Islam, visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina to apologize himself to the Prophet, peace be upon him. After studying the Prophet's life and message, he recently became a Muslim himself. What can we learn from this? We should pray not only for our friends but also for those who attack us and our beloved Prophet. Remember that our Prophet, peace be upon him, forgave even war criminals who killed and insulted his own family members. He is indeed a Mercy to Mankind. Former Dutch Islamophobe and a former leading member of far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders’ party Arnoud Van Doorn visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah to pray and say sorry for becoming part of a blasphemous film.IN THE PICTURE: Arnoud Van Doorn (extreme left), former leader of the Dutch rightist Freedom Party, prays at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

JUMU'AH MUBARAKAH Whoever restrains his ANGER, Allah will conceal his faults.. A bad attitude spoils a good deeds just as vinegar spoils honey... May Almighty Allah makes us better Muslims and also open our heart towards fearing HIM... AMIN |
tbaba1234: Wa iyyakum,Though premarital sex is a sin BUT Nikkah done during pregnancy is not INVALID... Is only for the couple to repent from their wrong doing but that does not mean an Alfa/Imam conducting such Nikkah is wrong; what is just need to be done is to confirm the true father of such child. Read some of the below text: It is permissible to marry a woman who is pregnant irrespective of whether the man she is marrying is the father of the child or not. The only difference is if the man is the father of the unborn child he would be able to have intercourse with her whereas in the situation where the man is not the father of the child, he would not be allowed to have intercourse with her until she gives birth to the child. (Hidayah p.312 v.2) |
maclatunji: Poverty is real these days but if you find a lady that you can both plan your financial future together, then it might be reasonable to get married. Otherwise, in this day and age, you should have a standard source of income before trying to get married. You are very correct with your assertion. That is what I am really saying, you know some people always wait for the time when they buy car, build house and are financially sufficient before they start making plan of settling down. Whereas nobody knows when Almighty Allah really destined for anyone to achieve greatness in life. Once, a guy has a job, mature, can pay rent and feed 2 to 3 people, I think is the right time to just settle down and hope for Almighty Allah blessings to follow. |
They are truly on their way to hell because they lack basic knowledge of ISLAM and never seek to know the true meaning of the Qur'an which they claim they follow. The entire Quran, taken as a complete text, gives a message of hope, faith, and peace to people. The overwhelming message is that peace is to be found through faith in God, and justice among fellow human beings. Have they forgotten about the verse where Almighty Allah said THERE IS NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION. OR they never read their own Qur'an to the following verses: Invite all to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching. Quran 16:125-128 The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree), but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from God, for God loves not those who do wrong. But indeed, if any do help and defend themselves after a wrong done to them, against such there is no cause of blame. The blame is only against those who oppress men with wrongdoing and insolently transgress beyond bounds through the land, defying right and justice. For such there will be a penalty grievous (in the Hereafter). But indeed, if any show patience and forgive, that would truly be an affair of great resolution. Quran 42:40-43 Almighty God will continue to guide us aright. |
gabriel74: Hi wizeboy, i dont know if you can give me ur number, i have some issues bothering me or if you can text me yur number pls... 08027314431ok, will contact you with my number. |
gny kelly: Bro. Fear makes us hold our triggerYou are right... We are all afraid of entering into marriage until we are financially alright without knowing that NOT all of us will be rich before getting marry. Some people are destined to be financially alright only after they have complete half of their deen (which is marriage). Looking at it from social angle, it is always believe that, when a guy is rich, it will be somehow difficult for him to see a good woman that will truly love him for who he is but rather for his money. This show that the words of Almighty Allah is always the best to follow every time. That doesn't mean a small guy or student should jump into marriage hoping for Allah blessings but we all know the right age and time in which is the best to get marry. May Almighty Allah continue to guide us through the right path. |
jay4genius: 1st of all, you guys do not communicate with prospective customers. i sent a mail to you guys for over 5days nw, and av not gotten a reply yet.Bros, I think everybody using Chrisvic here, have been saying it without numbers that you should call them to get fast response instead of relying on email you sent; Chrisvic even comment yesterday informing everybody that they are very busy for now, I don't think is right for you to rate them bad (I was even thinking you have paid them for orders, which they have not delivered with the way you ambush them). My transaction with Chrisvic has been awesome and wonderful so far since I have started using them, I have at least ship more than 10 orders through them, which went on smoothly ranging from Jewelries, Wristwatch, Brazillian & Peruvian Hair, Women bags, and they never fail me BECAUSE I follow my order up with phone calls, I don't just sent email and go to sleep; that is not a good characteristics of an entrepreneur (You must always be in contact and awake). I have gotten the right way to deal with them and I am enjoying it. Infact, I am shipping in suit and T-shirt through the same Chrisvic on Tuesday. |
bintalabi: assalam alaekium, pls someone should explian no 15 15. Do not invalidate charity with reminders (2:264)What this verse mean to my own best understanding is that: You should NEVER make reference to any good deeds, sadaqah (charity) or Zakat you give out to people. By announcing your good deeds or sadaqah to the world before or after it has been given out will definitely invalidate it, as you will have no reward on such good deeds again. That is why, the best form of good deeds and sadaqah you can give out is to give it in private without other people knowledge. May Almighty Allah continue to guide us.... (Amin) |
ISLAM IS A PERFECT RELIGION BUT WE MUSLIMS AREN'T; That is why we must always try to work towards being a BETTER MUSLIM every time. Almighty Allah will continue to strengthen and uphold us towards the right path... (Amin) |
JUMU'AH MUBARAKAH... “Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well and that if they do wrong you will do wrong. But (instead) accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong if they do evil.” May Almighty Allah continue to uphold our deen and showers His blessings and favour on us (Amin) |
Are you delaying marriage whilst allowing yourself to be exposed to fitnah, solely on the basis that you wish to "make that money" first? - Contemplate over the following words of Umar Ibn al-Khattab (radiyallahu anhu):Though, I have seen so many situations like that in the past, where things always turn around (becoming more blessed after marriage) for couple. How many of us truly believe and follow the above narration? What did you have to put in place before getting marry? Let us deliberate on this: Maa Salam |
JUMU'AH MUBARAKAH... Today is Friday... The day of acceptance of Dua! I pray ALLAH shower everyone of us and our family with good health, long life, Eeman, Sehat, Rizq, Elm and Umr and all joys of life which you have ever wished. *AAMEEN* We shouldn't forget the recite Suratul Kahf; may Allah continue to be with us (AMIN) |
Batty5: Salam aliekum am Basirat,a newbie hope 2 learn more abt islamWa Alaykum Salam Warahmatullah Wa Barakatuhu I pray Almighty Allah shower you and everyone of us with His knowledge and wisdom to fully practice Islam. You are welcome. |
JUMU'AH MUBARAKAH Let us always remember that "All sons of Adam are sinners BUT the best of SINNERS are those who REPENT". We should always strive hard not to commit sin and repent from the one we have already committed. Almighty Allah will continue to uphold our faith and shower us with His knowledge to know more about our deen (Amin). |
I am not in anyway surprise because nobody is perfect, some people just try to be more advanced than other. If this type of situation happen to any African or the so-called third-world countries President, people would have been saying is because of their uncivilized or corruption or incompetence that cause it. NO HUMAN BEING IS PERFECT! |
toluxa1: Any updates from this week's delivery of products from CVM? I understand there was a major delay of some sought. Has anyone gotten their Monday delivery?Yes, I have collected my expected goods from them early today. I should have collect it yesterday because Ifeanyi called me around 11am that I should come for them (my goods) but was very busy. |
deols: Oh My God! ![]() Everybody has different perspective to life, I believe he is telling her all this in order for them to sort some things out before getting marry. I believe the man too can always compromise, there's nobody that don't think and I know he has reason for all he said. Is better to relate to a truthful person and sort so many things out on-time than falling for sweet mouth/fake person who you will only realise his true colour when you eventually get marry. #i never in anyway support any form of abuse on women# |
Sissie: Let me ask for advice, I think most of the people here are yorubas, and am not so, I want to hear yoruba muslims perspective, because I already know the northerners perspective.Hmmmmmm! to my understanding, I don't think the man meant all he said, he was just trying to prepare the woman for the worst, which I believe he can't do half of that. Come to think of it, how can somebody be begging/proposing to a girl and be saying all that, I believe the man is just looking for an average perfect woman who can stand in worse situation. Women are known to always complain when worse happen (no offence intended); is then they will be saying you never tell me I'm coming to your house to suffer and so many things like that. No right thinking man will want his wife to suffer but they must always be prepare for the worst too and not all about sweet talks and promises. About beating wife: Islam never encourage man to beat his wife, even though hadith prescribe how a woman should be beating, there are some things you as a man will have to do before resulting to beating and it was listed as 1. Refusing to eat her food 2. Stop sleeping on the same bed with her 3. Report her to her parent; is after all this process you can now 4. Beat her (the beating even as a way, which is by beating her in her leg only and not brutally) Is better for your friend to go with somebody that prepare her for the worst time rather than falling for guys that will deceive her with sweet promises and change to something else when they get marry. |

tbaba1234: Where did you get that from?? Not everything worn qualifies as hijab. Hijab is not just a head covering, it is the total package. I would insha Allah write a thread on that soon.Tbaba, you don't seem to understand my assertion, there is no where in my post that I said Hijab is not obligatory; what I said is that I like it simple and not the full hijab. For you to understand my point, check the picture I posted below to see the type of simple/corporate hijab I said I like. According to the Qur’an, the direct commandment for women to cover their hair and neck is in Surat An-Noor, ayah 31 (Chapter of the Light, verse 31). “And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their khumur over their juyub and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, [...]” (Qur’an 24:31) What the summary of the above verse said is that: 1. Lower their gaze 2. Guard their private parts 3. Not display their beauty and ornaments except what (ordinarily) appears thereof 4. Take their khimar (head cover) and cover their chest (and other previously exposed areas) 5. Not to display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers…etc. *Waiting for your reasons for been single*

tbaba1234: Salam,Full hijab is NOT obligatory, once woman cover her hair with corporate simple hijab and other parts of her body of which Almighty Allah ordered to be covered. What about corporate women who wear simple hijab with a suit; that is what I mean by covering of hair. I never discourage anybody who might or want to start wearing FULL HIJAB, I just talk about what I want and not what people should do; it doesn't even make sense for anybody to change her way of life in order to satisfy a person, no matter who you are, you will always find who likes and fits you perfectly, is just a matter of time. I always like it simple in as much as it does not affect my Islam and belief, I can't do all Sunnah (because is voluntary) I did the obligatory and select the one that suit me most out of all Sunnah. BTW: Tbaba we are still expecting the reasons why you are still single ![]() Maa Salam |
