Truvel:They both claim they were minding their business when the other started hurling insults for no reason. Lol |
Newman20:Oh... he deactivated the account? That's destruction of evidence! |
ZIINI:Meanwhile, what is the other moniker? The elders want to start from there... ![]()
|
lefulefu:Lmao... don't mind that guy. ![]() |
BLUELemon:Adviser, did you just say when the ban is over? I think he'd be sharing the platform with the lady's grand children then. ![]() |
Newman20:Hehe... How can you be this wicked?? ![]() |
MMempire:Lol... this is more emotional that logical in my opinion. I get your perspective but if you really like Nairaland (like I assume the OP does), you wouldn't want to leave the forum just cause of one mod who is probably newer that you on here, would you? People get banned, let's deal with it. The OP sending that truckload of curses to the mod wasn't the best decision. What outcome was his expecting? An apology from the mod? |
JIMMY1393:Did you see what the guy sent the mod? If he's apologising, he knows why! If I were the mod, I'd ban him and also ban this account he's using to beg and then wait for the next. I wonder where he got all those ancient curses from. Now he's sounding all innocent. I really don't know the issue he had with the girl in question but someone that could come up with those underworld kind of curses doesn't seem as innocent as the picture painted up there. But then, only a few people have the mind to beg and it's obvious the account means a lot to him. Justwise, we are sorry. Please, reconsider. He will not do it again. |
Ekido2121:Ok... I asked cause I focused more on the content earlier (your friend's story) and I still think your friend said that cause of their ages. I'd like to believe he'd gladly give his sister the keys if she were older. Now, to answer based on the title, I'd sell it to my elder brother. ![]() |
AllOfUsAtManna:Hey... how can you be this criminally minded? You don't blame people who steal other people's money cause you saw a few guys online spending their own money how they want? I'm sure you wouldn't blame murderers too cause there are people who commit suicide. |
Ekido2121:Bro, did you just modify the title? |
Sonnobax15:Isn't the guy the hoe here? I pity any woman that eventually ends up with him. |
Fear men! |
They will say you should mind your business. Now imagine if it was a sister in-law you caught cheating, Nairaland would have been telling you tales of the terrible things that would happen to you if you don't send the olosho out. Double standard. |
Brawlscartel:Wow... I guess that makes sense cause that way, they'll be certain you'd stay back after your studies to contribute to their economy. Guess you plan to stay back anyway. |
I don't think it's about gender. Going by your your write-up, it's mostly about the age. I mean, if you're 40 and your younger sister is 38, would you not give her your car key just because she's female? My elder sister is someone's younger sister and I do give her my car keys. Would it now make sense for my bro (her elder bro) not to give her his car keys just cause she's female? The question should be if one would feel comfortable leaving their car with a younger sibling below a certain age. Your friend said he'd rather give the key to his girlfriend because the girlfriend is older and maybe his kid sister isn't old enough. And that's a simple logic. Let's not make everything about gender |
Brawlscartel:Oh...Ok. You want to go to Czech to further your studies. Is the language a requirement? Will it boost your chances of getting admitted into their schools? |
The same set of people that go around shouting "fear women", "women are heartless", etc. on any crime-related thread that involves a lady are here but instead of calling out men, they'd rather focus on the state. I'm sure if these guys were from their states, they'd focus on their religion or their hometown or anything just to project the blame. Double standard. Fear men! The fear of men is the beginning of wisdom. Poor girl |
I'm not learning the language. But out of curiosity, are you learning the language cause you're already in the country and want to eliminate the linguistic barrier or you want to move to the country sometime in the future? What's the motivated? |
Humans: **come out to dance along the road** Dog: Oh no! Not again! These humans won't let someone have some quiet time Oya, all of you, go inside!Lol... the dog wasn't even going after them |
Awwwn... sorry, I only have the contact details of the informal president. ![]() |
People don't use washing machines in Nigeria? |
It is easy for us to preach against things we feel we don't do. That's why a tribalist can still preach against racism. Having said that, I'd like to add that you do not choose your sexuality too. You don't switch off/on being attracted to women or men, you grow up to realise you're attracted to one gender and not the other. So it also makes no sense for y'all in Africa to be imprisoning people cause they're not as straight as you. |
Where are the wives? |
Men, y'all beginning to imprison yourself with all these mental cages. You don't even have the freedom to be yourself anymore so you won't be called a simp or whatever. Now, you're being given manuals on how to be you. Shameful. |
If she's single, y'all will call her olosho. She's getting married, y'all are calling her desperate. Africans, you guys are too much. Meanwhile, what the picture shows is nothing new to the Yoruba culture. The MC could ask the man to touch her breast or her ass as a sign that he now has the right to freely access those. If I who only read about african cultures online know this, then I assume many of you do too. But you'd rather look for ways to call women out as usual. |
MemoriesAndMe:No amount of goals scored will take you to heaven! Haha! Third testament... ![]() You're funny, bro. |
Nairaland becomes boring when those in Nigeria go to sleep. Glad there are few night crawlers who slumber not. ![]() |
Goodmarlian:Morning, afternoon and night, you guys are calling out women. You have male criminals as friends, you don't come online to call men out for being wicked. You know male ritualists, still you don't come online to call men out for being murderers. Then you see a woman in their midst, and you took to the Internet to insult women. Who's got the fish brain here? Y'all overlook everything men do and concentrate on the slightest misstep from women and you think that makes you "manly"? Why are you even asking online, wasn't it a woman that gave birth to you? Why not go and ask her? Children from the gutters littering the online space. Don't even bother quoting me cause you'd be wasting your time. |
080bjaked:I have my niece and my nephew in school. They are like my own kids so I might as well call them my children. They are both in their elementary. I know the kind of school they are in and I know the kind of gift a classmate could share. If they came back home with an item well within this category, I wouldn't ask them to return it. You don't beat a child and ask him not to cry. You sent your child to such a big school knowing he could be gifted such an item, why make a mockery of him by asking him to return it when it eventually happens? It's not like these kids keep a tab on each other's birthdays and expect gifts. It was the celebrant's parents decision. Otherwise, no one would even know when another's birthday passes. So your kid's birthday would pass unnoticed. The OP acted out of his own insecurities/fear without considering what he's doing to his child. |
