peterangelo:Ok... that's great then. Next time you have issues with Android Studio, try Xamarin on Visual Studio or even go open source like React Native, these guys are there just to make things easier for you great developers out there. Bon courage. |
peterangelo:I pray you go big as planned. |
peterangelo:Yes, bro. I am afraid they'll take your name, Hellogram. |
Lol... Really, this forum has taught me a lot. Now, I know how y'all in Africa seek so much validation. It's never really about what you like but more about how the next person will see you. So, OP, you need Nairalanders to tell you the extent to which you can like cartoons in order to be seen as OK? Who is in charge of what adults should like or not like? Well, since you asked, you can enjoy the program between 10am to 2pm. That's the only time adults are allowed to enjoy it. Enjoy it any other time and it'll cease to be OK. Oh... and please, don't take any soft drink while watching it. That'll be too much for an adult. In fact, you'd lose your adulthood if you try that. Any other question regarding adulthood? |
OP, have you bought hellogram.com? You should know what to expose online and what not to. |
There's nothing wrong with C-section. Left to me, I would even encourage ladies to do that. There's no pride in suffering where the end result is the same. |
This is what we're encouraging each time we come online to trash-talk women. Someone above is already celebrating the sad words. |
omenka:Such sexism! Wow... you Nigerians amaze me with the way to address fellow human beings. |
thorpido:African women find it very hard to leave abusive relationships/marriages primarily cause the society will always favor the man in such a situation. The discrimination against single moms and divorcees is mind blowing. Such women cannot even contribute to discussions or give opinions without people reminding her how she couldn't even keep a home or how she left her husband to prostitute around. The man goes blameless and even gets pity. Sad but true. |
rentAcock:It has passed the reproduction age. |
Ugaboy:Hi Ugaboy, Sorry I'm coming late. Hope the bird is still alive. Keeping a bird of that age alive is extremely difficult but here are some tips: Providing warmth: Put it an cage with cloth bedding and keep the cage near a burning stove (I actually prefer electric cooker to avoid smoke). Ensure there's enough shade to reduce light but allow free flow of warm air. Feeding: Grind dawa seed and mix it with warm water, put it in a syringe with no needle and put the pointed end it the bird's mouth and gently squeeze. The bird has a natural instinct to open its mouth so this shouldn't be a problem. However, the mixture must not be too hot or too cold, must not be too watery or too thick and you must not squeeze hard. Handling: Don't hold the bird the way you're holding it in the picture (with the two winds clipped behind). Firstly, pet birds are never held that. Only birds meant to be killed are held that way and they don't like it so it's not good for bonding. Secondly, this one is way too young for that. Try not to move it around so much but when you must, keep it on your palm and place the other hand on its back so it wouldn't move and fall. Bonding: At this age, feeding it is enough bonding exercise already. You don't have to do extra. It doesn't have a developed sense of fear, it only has the instincts to eat, so you can be the provider and claim the position of a caretaker. You'd be the mother it knows and it would never be afraid of you as an adult bird. Then, you can play with it but doing too much now could have an adverse effect. So I suggest you feed it constantly (every couple of hours), little at a time. Stay near it where it can see you all the time but resist the urge to be touchy. Make exactly the same sound each time you feed it. Be extremely gentle and never get angry or show shock even when it misbehaves. Trust will be broken at the slightest sense of fear. Grooming: As it grows, teach it to pick up food from your palm. You can start by feeding it with your fingers and make sure you let it see what it's eating. Then proceed to putting its mixture on your palm and encouraging it to pick it up. It will stagger but it will eventually learn. Then proceed to giving it the full seeds and water separately. Finally, offer it the food and water in containers. Flight: Please, don't clip its wings. Some do that but it causes a lot of emotional distress/depression in birds. You can tell by how they'd start plucking their own feathers, losing appetite and becoming less tolerant to human presence and generally less active. Don't worry, it might never really fly as high as others in the wild. If you're afraid it might fly away when you're outside, you're right! That could happen. However, if you try not to take it to a crowdy and noisy place or anywhere it could easily get startled, then it will always stick around you even when outside. If you're still scared, you could decide to keep it indoors and only bring it outside in its cage to receive sunlight occasionally. Good luck! |
anastasius:So much assumptions in a single comment; overwhelming. I never mentioned feminism nor sexuality to you. And the notion that a feminist is someone that hates men is ignorance in its most profound form. The concept of hating men is called misandry and someone that hates the male gender is calles a misandrist. The fact that people like you are always quick to call anyone that tries to be unbiased in a gender related issue a feminist shows that somewhere in your mind, you actually know feminism is about being unbiased. If you read my siggy, you'd know I'm averse to any form of discrimination, bias or inequality. So there are many other things you might also want to call me asides gay and feminist. If anything, at least, it shows my stance is not going unnoticed. Good morning. |
It's raining in Nigeria now? |
NwaEje:She's confused yet you're the one that ran to Nairaland to seek clarity. |
piagetskinner:Did you? |
bishop4life:Nairaland boys don't care. Some are already saying the girl is the one trying to use the OP to cure her konji. You can do virtually anything and pass with it provided you're male. |
vickydevoka:But OP is clearly the one going after her from all he's said! |
Deborah98:Apparently, OP is the distraction here. |
majamajic:Calm down, bro. It was only a joke. Sorry it didn't land well. |
majamajic:They retained more than that when you died? These banks could be terrible sometimes. |
When there's no harm in trying, try! Nicky Minaj is a big name, any collaboration with her is good for Davido's career. I'm happy for him. |
You guys are so funny on this thread. I hope it's all banters though. As for the show, I'm certain it will get better over the years. Nigeria has a bigger market so we shouldn't be comparing. |
No source ? |
VickyRotex:Lol, you're right. Apparently, mods are clamping down on them! ![]() Account created today: https://www.nairaland.com/6108871/death-toll-new-crown-nearly#93761891 |
Gabbriell:We can argue that amnesty shouldn't be given. This argument could have come when it was premised and the military should have made their stance known then. But allowing the governor to go ahead with it and then intercepting and killing off the guys about to surrender clearly undermines the government and sends a message that amnesty is only a trap. |
seanfer: askibee: poiunt: poiunt: Susu888:Calm down. You guys are not seeing the big picture. It's not about the guy anymore, he's dead. It's about the aftermath, the implications of his death. The government should be one of the most trusted entities and when they promise amnesty, it's pertinent that they stand by it, otherwise such a promise wouldn't hold water next time and it would then be more difficult reaching a truce. The army just frustrated the governor's efforts and he needed to make this statement to make it he wasn't just orchestrating a grand plan to lure in the repentant bandits with fake amnesty promise. That's the only way he can make such a promise next time. We may not all be in favour of amnesty and we might advocate that it should never be granted but when it's granted, it should be followed through for integrity sake. The governor might be a suspect but so is the military. Why were they eager to kill him off when he wasn't fighting back, is there something they're not telling us too? They couldn't kill him all this while, and when he was then surrendering, they shot him. |
etrange:Bro, you've said it everything that has to be said. You must know that people don't usually give in on Nairaland even when it's clear they aren't making sense so I suggest you leave that guy and save yourself the stress. Just my opinion. |
Happy for them. |
Dizzyrascal:Lies aren't good regardless of the party. |
Mobi47:This is a subtle but perceptible support for the pastor. |
