But she doesn't really need to know these to be intelligent. A lot people do not know all these. I'm sure there are things she knows that a lot of you don't know. I'm not great in current affairs (even though I managed to know the answers to the questions she was asked) but it doesn't make me less established in my field or take any of my qualifications away from me. She just had a bad day. The sad thing is that Nairaland boys are already turning the whole thing into sexism/misogyny. If it were a guy that failed these questions, y'all would have made excuses for him. You'd hear things like "who current affairs help?". But since it's a lady, the entire gender is getting insulted. Nigerians are so backwards. |
Elder0001:And you think most guys know all these? Dude, she was just unlucky to be exposed. A lot of people here would have done the same if not worse |
dtruth50:Thank you for this. Everyone is calling her names and insulting her yet more than 50% of the people here would have performed even worse. Hypocrisy is a big problem in Nigeria and Nigerians hold on to every opportunity to drag popular people down. If you then happen to be a single lady, they can never see any good in you. |
I know about the expression "Holy Nweje" and I'm glad to know more about him today. Thanks. But some part of the story is vague. He said the land belonged to God and then there was peace? ![]() Anyway, here's his pic.
|
unclemaths:He gave credit to the writer. |
Oh... it was even putting on the camouflage outfit. Maybe it came to supervise the operation python dance. These guys can't be dancing rubbish in its name, someone's got keep an eye on them! |
OP, CS is great but can we talk about your name for a second? What language is that? I'm asking cause it's extremely vulgar in mine (French). |
Here we go! Commenting cause we are less busy. Lol. 1) His brother is not nice. 2) You are not nice. 3) You and "your guy" are now sex mates. 4) He is using you to satisfy his cravings while waiting for his Miss Right. 5) Well, you can also use him to satisfy yours while waiting for your Mr Right and hoping you don't sleep with his (Mr Right's) father this time. 6) I suggest you move on like someone suggested above cause you might be blocking other men from coming your way. Bedsides, messing around with someone in the absence of love could be dangerous 7) Erase every thought of marriage here. This isn't a movie. Extra: Your guy seems like the calm but deadly type. He could have broken up with you at once but that wouldn't be as painful as he would want it so he's deliberately wasting your youthful age and having constant sex with you while at it. He will soon invite you to his wedding and watch you cry while he smiles satisfactorily. As for his brother, that one should watch his back cause his own story might even be more epic. I could be TOTALLY wrong. |
Daejoyoung:Yeah. I've never used that but I'm sure it's a great technology as well. I was specific about React Native cause he already seems to have interest in web technologies. Thanks for the contribution. |
You took time to type all this just to be a criminal. Scammer advising people on how not to get scammed by fake fake degree sellers. You guys are so shameless. Able bodied but lazy and greedy. |
Why do you want to teach me? |
Hhmm... another opportunity for my friends and colleagues to tease me ![]() |
Nice. I don't know if this is really true but I've chosen to believe it is cause I love it. It's really beautiful. The part where you refused her request despite her proffering different solutions just to pursue her goals really hurt me. She loves those kids as much as you do and she wouldn't wish to see them harmed so your initial line of thought was hurtful not just because you were denying her her goals but also because you subtly accused her of not caring about the children even without voicing that out. I'm glad you had a re-think, thanks to your mum. She, like all of us, is a product of her decisions and sacrifices but you were the fuel that powered her dreams. I wish you both the best of life and may you be a source of inspiration for others. |
solmusdesigns:Their salary increment? I don't get, is there a firm called NLC? Was the salary increment for a special group of people? Is it not the same Nigerians whose salaries were increased that are paying the tax and the new fuel/electricity price? |
sacajawea:You didn't say anything. This is yet another thread to wail and this whole trend of guys creating threads to wail about the opposite gender every minute is becoming shameful. A lady does something you don't like and your best idea is to go to Nairaland to bash the entire female gender. You think they'd be space left on this platform if ladies were coming here to 'tongue lash' men for every unfortunate event in their relationships? The women y'all call out every minute of the day ain't even responding. Honestly, it's very shameful how these women now sit back and watch y'all behave like teenagers. One can hardly scroll through the New Threads page without seeing a couple of such wailing threads. Just look at this one, he didn't make a single point, no message passed. And before you know it, his likes will gather like flies to start bashing women and that's it. They'd go feeling productive and contented. Funny but embarrassing. Don't bother quoting me cause I ain't replying. Enjoy your thread. |
TMSMedia:Point of correction, he was not a guest if he wasn't invited to the party. A guest must have been invited or, at least, be a recipient of hospitality. |
Why are Nigerians repeating what everyone knows already? |
anonimi:Different myths have different beliefs are regards the origin of man but that's inconsequential to this discussion because I have already explained what it means to be an original settler especially in the context of history. Stretching it any further would be a deliberate attempt to deviate from the topic. Aboriginal Americans were Red Indians are not whites. That's my submission. If you want to start another line of discussion, you can do so without presenting it as a defect in my stance. |
anonimi:Garden of Eden is a product of religious literature and only applies to abrahamic religions. Bringing that into a secular discussion on history is extremely limiting. The original occupants of any location according to history are the founders of the vacant land. That is, those settlers who did not have to fight any pre-existing occupant to be there according any available records. |
anonimi:No. You said "whites before immigrants" and I'm saying even the whites were immigrants. By original Americans, I'm referring to the aborigines prior to the discovery of the region by white Europeans. These same aborigines (mostly red Indians) are still there today and unknown to many, they are still angry at the government for stealing their lands. A good deal of them are still not as educated as an average American of today but the get special treatments in some North American regions. |
AreaFada2:Original Americans were never whites. |
Ulysses71:I sincerely do not understand that guy. America to him should be united because they are a 'generic race' (which is far away from the truth) but Nigeria should be divided because we have many ethnic groups (not minding the fact that it's actually one race). Does he even have the slightest idea of how divers the the US is both in terms of race and ethnicity? People just come online to type. |
NeoWanZaeed:Or scammers, lol. |
I only came to praise everyone who read the OP. I never really learned how to read long texts without paragraphs. You guys that read the story are the true heroes! At your spare time, kindly summarize the article for me. ![]() |
TheChameleon:Bro, you may not know it or even agree with me but going by this your comment, you've actually allowed yourself to be drawn into the whole thing you spoke against. |
Kriss216:Maybe they were lovers. And even if she sent it to him herself, it doesn't justify his actions. Let's stop this victim blaming Nigerians are known for. |
clubkonnect:Ok, you just made the OP's claim more credible. An honest business would be more interested in engaging the OP than responding to a couple of good reviews that, for all we know, could have come from your agents or even be your accounts. |
The evil guy isn't white anymore! ![]() |
