I'm not great in current affairs (even though I managed to know the answers to the questions she was asked) but it doesn't make me less established in my field or take any of my qualifications away from me. She just had a bad day.

The sad thing is that Nairaland boys are already turning the whole thing into sexism/misogyny. If it were a guy that failed these questions, y'all would have made excuses for him. You'd hear things like "who current affairs help?". But since it's a lady, the entire gender is getting insulted.

Hypocrisy is a big problem in Nigeria and Nigerians hold on to every opportunity to drag popular people down. If you then happen to be a single lady, they can never see any good in you.

Nice. I don't know if this is really true but I've chosen to believe it is cause I love it. It's really beautiful. The part where you refused her request despite her proffering different solutions just to pursue her goals really hurt me. She loves those kids as much as you do and she wouldn't wish to see them harmed so your initial line of thought was hurtful not just because you were denying her her goals but also because you subtly accused her of not caring about the children even without voicing that out. Point of correction, he was not a guest if he wasn't invited to the party. A guest must have been invited or, at least, be a recipient of hospitality.

Different myths have different beliefs are regards the origin of man but that's inconsequential to this discussion because I have already explained what it means to be an original settler especially in the context of history. Stretching it any further would be a deliberate attempt to deviate from the topic. Aboriginal Americans were Red Indians are not whites. That's my submission. If you want to start another line of discussion, you can do so without presenting it as a defect in my stance.

Garden of Eden is a product of religious literature and only applies to abrahamic religions. Bringing that into a secular discussion on history is extremely limiting. The original occupants of any location according to history are the founders of the vacant land. That is, those settlers who did not have to fight any pre-existing occupant to be there according any available records.

No. You said "whites before immigrants" and I'm saying even the whites were immigrants. By original Americans, I'm referring to the aborigines prior to the discovery of the region by white Europeans. These same aborigines (mostly red Indians) are still there today and unknown to many, they are still angry at the government for stealing their lands. A good deal of them are still not as educated as an average American of today but the get special treatments in some North American regions.

I sincerely do not understand that guy. America to him should be united because they are a 'generic race' (which is far away from the truth) but Nigeria should be divided because we have many ethnic groups (not minding the fact that it's actually one race). Does he even have the slightest idea of how divers the the US is both in terms of race and ethnicity?
