Donniespets:You mean this?

midolian:I don't know about Sowere and how genuine he is but regarding your last question, the fact that he tried to get there before protesting could actually be translated to mean that he's not like all those who shy away from politics and the subject but would be the first to complain when the leaders misbehave. Contesting for a political position is a better way to bring about change than leading a protest. Protest should be a last resort and logically, that's what he's left with now. On the other hand, Burna boy is not an activist, he doesn't need to be one and he never claimed to be one. That's all that needs to be said. Talking about how everyone now claims to love Fela as if that was the bone of contention is cherry picking. #MyOpinion |
FarahAideed:Is this the business analysis? Lmao. Seriously, dude, how do you even keep commenting? Your analysis predicated they will fail because of how low their pricing is and when your calculation was corrected, your analysis switched to predicting they will fail because their pricing is not low enough. Isn't it obvious your algorithm only outputs failure regardless of what they bring to the table? Now you're telling me prophesies... It's okay, bro. You win. Lol |
FarahAideed:Hhmm... I guess you didn't think it through when you made your first comment here asking how they'd possibly survive with just 39 cents per month and now that you can see what that amounts to, you're diverting to how it's too expensive. Oga great analyst, nawa o! The way you swiftly moved from N5 being too little and not sustainable to it being too expensive, it's obvious you just want to sound negative regardless of the cost and content. Such energy though... |
FarahAideed:150 per month for one channel is 1,500 per month for 10 channels. Why not? |
chatinent:https://www.nairaland.com/6150726/man-two-wives-caught-defiling#94452136 https://www.nairaland.com/6150780/man-reports-self-police-after You guys keep typing thoughtlessly just to appear "manly". You read about a man that cut his wife open the other day. You read about the endless rape cases by men. You read about the one that killed the mum in Anambra. Virtually all horrible crimes on the front page are perpetuated by men. It didn't take me time to get the two examples above. Yet no one calls out the gender. But once a lady is involved, you remember to call out the entire gender. Aren't you embarrassed by this gutter lifestyle? |
helinues:Feasible* ![]() |
Hope they remembered to tell the visitors to stop swearing within the vicinity. |
luv2rolly:Nawa o... some of you can drag someone till eternity. |
Kriss216:What of good husbands? Or only women can be bad? Just wondering... |
light099:Anybody can be a legend in any field, dude. The word is not reserved for those who really suffered or worked hard for their country. The English word "legend" simply means an extremely famous or notorious person, especially in a particular field. You can be pampered and still be a music legend. I get your point though. I just needed to put it out there that being legendary isn't about your hardwork or contributions but about how famous you are and how much people talk about you. |
Kekereekun123:Well, I don't know about Africa but I know North America has its own share of slums especially the US and Mexico (Canada is better off in this regards). Besides, that wasn't the bone of contention. I was asking why these guys would quickly conclude and insist the people in the pic must be Africans even when the slum is in Europe. |
Kekereekun123:True but what's the basis of saying they must be Africans? You see a pic of some slum in Europe and what comes to your mind is, if these people are this poor, then they must be Africans. Really? Isn't that tantamount to attributing a heavenly status to Europe? On a different note, they look alike especially on individual basis but it's still possible to tell a group of Spaniards from a group of Moroccans. Again, Mediterranean Spaniards don't generally have that North African look. You'd probably get this detail when you come close. |
I don't know about the place the lady shared but but I'm amazed at how Africans rush to defend Europe. Stating facts is one thing but coming up with anything just to defend the continent is another thing entirely. I mean, despite seeing the skin colour, facial outline and apparent hair texture of the people in the pic, they still insist they are Africans from Cameroon and other African countries. What informed this conclusion? Yes, they could be right cause there are Africans that have these looks but seeing some Spanish looking people right in the country of Spain and concluding/insisting they must be Africans and not Spaniards simply cause they are poor is hilarious. Do you guys think you have the monopoly of poverty? Again, I have never been to Europe so I know nothing about the place in the pic but going by the lady's subsequent comments, she seems to be very detailed about the places she's talking about. I don't why why this is unbelievable to many. Someone above is blaming the people by saying it's self inflicted. Are you saying there are no such poor people in Europe who aren't necessarily into drugs and stuff like that? Being poor is already hurtful enough, being blamed for being poor is sorrowful. This isn't just a couple of homeless peeps like you see downtown in any developed city. This isn't just a ghetto (characterized by the people). This is a slum (characterized by the environment). This is a whole community with men, women and children. They all inflicted this on themselves and somehow decided to come live together? Fact is, there are slums everywhere inhabited by locals. What makes a country better than the other is the number of such slums, how run down they are and the population of people living there. |
You guys will end up caging yourselves completely. Lol. |
Case closed. |
BiggyB242:If there is anyone who watches the show 24/7, then that person never had a job even without the show. And If you know any such person, advice them and not blame the show as if it rendered them jobless. The OP asking the fans of BBN what they have gained is actually a rather ridiculous superiority complex. People always feel they are better when they don't do what others do. I even doubt if anyone watches the show 24/7 cause, going from the one I saw (Tboss and co.), there used to be activity schedules and that's what people watch the most. Again, people's free time differ. This means there will always be someone watching the show at every point in time. That's why it seems like no part of the show is missed. People argue on social media over everything including football, music, movies, etc. The "stars" (musicians, housemates, footballers, actors, etc) don't have to know them. They (the viewers) are doing it for thier own fun. Life is give and take. When you are always concerned about others using you to make money, you'd end up hurting yourself. |
You must be talking about a petty business where cash is handed over to the employee by the business owner at the end of a period. If that's the case, saying 'thanks' is only polite and not necessarily appreciation. Even if the it's the secretary that gives me the cash, I'd still say 'thanks'. However, salary payment does not always involve the employer and the employee physically coming together to even necessitate any form of conversation. The common thing is that everyone gets alert on a particular day of the month and life goes on. |
BiggyB242:Of what use is the money you're running after if you can't make out time to relax in the way that suites you? Everybody is using everybody to achieve their dream. By commenting on Nairaland, Seun is using you to achieve his dream. You'll only be unfair to yourself if you keep thing like that. It's OK if you don't like BBN but you aren't necessarily better than those who do. |
Sameazy15:What were you expecting to gain from an entertainment show? Why do you people feel you're superior to others cause you don't watch BBN? Lol... some of you guys can be funny. |
Le même président depuis 2005. Et il est issu d'une famille qui règne depuis 1967. Vraiment, l'Afrique a encore un loooong chemin à parcourir ! ![]() |
You complain about Nigerian girls at 30 being preoccupied by marriage and then you went ahead to explain why you'd rather marry someone younger thereby answering your own question. They worry because men like you would rather go for the younger ones. It's only logical. When it comes to issues of relationship, you'd realize it's always about actions and reactions between the two genders. |
I'm lost. What is the word "free" doing in your title? The flatmate has to be free? |
Seeing that she's got her money, Nairaland boys don't know what to say again. If it were a random girl, the expression "gold digger" would have been raining! ![]() |
People should let her marriage be! Is it their marriage? She made her choice, let it be! |
heendrix:This is the first thing that came to your mind when you heard there was an accident? |
iboboyswag:Are you saying the end justified the means? So stealing is ok provided it ends in "praise"? Ended in praise for who? Rema? You don't care about the outcome for the laptop owner? And praise to who? God of thieves? Or God of Yahoo? Bro, what counts here is that he apologized (public apology is the height of great conscience) and not that it ended in "praise". The person whose laptop was stolen might have been hustling too and you don't know what he might have lost because of that singular action. If that laptop could change Rema's story to such an extent, the absence of it must have had a similar but opposite effect on the original owner. So ending well for Rema is not all that counts. |
