Biko, everything must not lead to bashing Nigeria. Which is one is president cooking for them? Lol. |
Dreamliner787:This escalated too quickly. Calm down, bro. |
Sensational headline |
genii96:Exactly how fornication is against the Law there. So why are we shouting? |
turawaa:Don't drag women into everything oga. If they comment wahala, if they no comment wahala. |
flyingpig:So Umahi and Tambuwal are the ones that will bridge the gap between the US and Nigeria development wise? Ok. |
flyingpig:You want to impose PresidentUmahi/VP Tambuwal on Nigerians in 2023 but you don't want to stay back and enjoy their leadership to the fullest? |
goodnewscliff:If you don't have an answer to his question, you remain silent. So dick, a part of your body, is now an abomination? Hypocrisy. |
Bloggers will just pick up a picture and weave a story around it. Now, we can't tell what's and what's not. If this is true, shame to the father. |
JONNYSPUTE:Isn't that how we tongue lash ladies for sleeping with a guy and turn around to praise the guys for being "sharp guys"? Such is life. Anyway, let's not get worked up over a blogger's narrative. We both know it's fake news. |
squash47:There's nothing wrong with her dressing, let's take it easy on the way we call out women on everything. Your post wouldn't have gone this way if it was a guy, you wouldn't even mind if he was sleeping with the whole world. Besides, even if she has turned into a bad girl, it doesn't still invalidate the Rev. Sister's advice cause she was clearly asking you guys to emulate the character in the movie and not the actor. This should be very obvious except one is a slay king himself. Good afternoon. |
RichieMichie:Oh... sorry about that. |
RichieMichie:Lol... hope the quiz went well, sir. |
onyechez:National Open University of Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, etc. have been doing assignments, group works and even lectures online. What covenant is doing is more like any other video interview. I appreciate them for employing IT in this period of uncertainty but I don't think people appreciate the fact that it's not exactly new nor exceptionally sophisticated. |
allthingsgood:Ok sir. Sorry. I stay in the Americas and no, Nigerians here are not clamoring to return to any Nigeria, not even cause of racism. Good night. |
Rossikki:This is about corona pandemic nah. The stranded Nigerians (who are obviously visitors) only needed the flight approval cause the border was closed. They still asked the individuals to pay for the flight. The post made it look as if Nigerians living abroad are begging to return home. |
Rossikki:Nigerians in the UK and the US are begging the FG to send them planes to return to Nigeria? |
Higgies:And that spirit is not here in canada, right? It's only in Africa. By the way, who overseas the spirituality? God? You think he closes his eyes when straight people fornicate but becomes strict when gay people do? Unless you've never had sex in your life, you can't base your claims on any spirituality. What you call spirituality is a factor of society that is why gay people are mostly unhappy in Africa. If you're a nice person, you should be clamoring for gay rights. It is not fair to discriminate against people based on their sexuality. It is not different from racism. |
Fear men. |
pquaver:You win. |
Rgade:The grown up man who goes around deflowering teens is not a hoe. Only the young girl is called names. #SayNoToSexism |
pquaver:I don't know why we are having this chat. I'm doing something. I'm contributing my quota in the war against tribalism and discrimination in general. If you check my posts, you'd see my take on misogyny, religious bigotry, homophobia, etc. If this is the first time you're seeing my post against tribalism, so be it. You can continue being tribalistic if you want but don't fight me for doing the right thing. I have no affiliation whatsoever with your tribe and I have no reason to protect their interest over mine so if I called out that guy, it is because his comment reeks of tribalism and not because I have any tribe's interest so stop making up things to suit your perception. You have the duty to talk to your tribalistic people since they'd rather listen to you as one of them but don't tell me it's wrong to correct a folk. |
pquaver:Then quote and correct your tribalistic people and stay out of my mention as you don't care. |
dukeprince50:You read him wrong. He never said the girl is done with her university studies. Read the post again. OP, you know what is wrong and what is right. Don't come here to seek moral support cause that still won't subdue your conscience |
Wow. This is just sad! |
Nyamuriflathead:Let's not get childish. |
Sammy07:I agree with you and I'm not taking sides in this issue of tribalism. Igbos aren't any better. I was only speaking based on the premise of the guy's post. |
pquaver:Who are the "our" ? Do you know my tribe? Please, I don't care about anyone tribe. Can't even remember the last time I visited Africa. If you read my sig, you'd see I'm out against any form of discrimination/sectionalism. I would appreciate if you stop attempting to box me into a corner. Thanks. |
Higgies:Actually, what you've described is not cause of homosexuality but cause of society. Your family may reject you cause you're gay but that's a societal situation cause a lot gay people are loved by their families in many other societies. The very successful gay guys in Nigeria are probably closeted cause of society so you wouldn't know them. You are right, a lot of gay people are unhappy and even suicidal but then again, it is cause of the stigmatization from the society. For any unsuccessful gay guy, there's a million unsuccessful straight guys. So there's no logical link between sexuality and success. You can't possibly be coming from a religious perspective because the heterosexual people are obviously more promiscuous than gay people seeing that they aren't stigmatized in any way so it would really be ridiculous to assume that god would be so biased as to check the gender you're fornicating with before deciding your fate. If there's anything that needs change there, it's the perspective of the African society. You can't be discriminating a set of people and then turn around to ask them if they are happy. Why would they be happy? This is exactly what happens to blacks here in the Americas. They are denied strategic and top level management positions and then the whites turn around to ask why most black people are poor and unhappy. #SayNoToDescrimination |
Simplyleo:Can we pedal down a little on this tribalism stuff? It doesn't tell well of anyone's background. Nobody gains from tribalism. A non Igbo man said something about another non Igbo man and a third non Igbo man countered it. But here you are baring your fangs at the Igbo man. Please bro, let's channel our energy on these guys leading the country. Let's collectively bare our fangs at them instead until they take us seriously. We can blame our leaders all we want but until we come together as a people and say it's enough, nothing will change. #SayNoToTribalism |
