While the constituents are combustible, water itself cannot sustain flame regardless of pressure. So what transformation did the water undergo for this to work? Can we get more details, please? Otherwise, I'm led to believe this is some other vaporized liquid. Maybe it's a new idea nevertheless but I strongly believe it's not water.

That's clearly an insult and you know it. If you insult or antagonize people who don't share your own beliefs, then how are you different from the so-called Jihadists? This is still an invasion. Any country that sends soldiers on peacekeeping mission to Biafra is invading Nigeria. Putin is invading Ukraine and that's nothing to celebrate. Former USSR member countries are now independent countries. Putin will be violating their sovereignty if he continues like this. People kept on saying it was about NATO placing missiles in Ukraine but we've always known it's more about Putin wanting to reassemble the former NATO member countries. Now he's made his intentions clear, he didn't even mention NATO in his speech. The same people that supported him on the grounds of him keeping NATO off the Russian borders are still supporting him for invading Ukraine today even though the motive isn't what they thought it was.

I know there's this desire in most people to see a huge country or power house fall. But we shouldn't let that blind us cause this is not all about the US. What Putin is doing is wrong. I don't even know the basis of supporting this authoritarianism as Nigerians knowing fully well that we won't take such in our own country. What has Russia even done for the modern day humanity? Power without sacrifices is a facade.

Assurance? There're nothing like assurance when it comes to making such moves. It's a big-risk-big-reward kinda thing. Seeing that you're not into some of those so-called hot professions, I suggest you apply caution. Consider the fact that it'll take some time before you reach your full potential in the UK as an immigrant on student visa. And even when you eventually start earning more, what you should consider is your savings after recurring expenses and not the amount itself cause naturally, what you earn in pounds would seem to be higher. It could go either ways but another factor you must take into consideration is the amenities and security you'd enjoy, and of course, the future you'd be providing for your kids. It's not all about money.

I wouldn't attribute this to racism though (I didn't watch the whole video). Caregivers go through a lot. Taking care of the elderly is like taking care of babies except that you're less likely to be annoyed by a baby and aged people are more likely to be depressed if spoken to in a certain way. Caregivers are, therefore, expected to find thier patient's soft spot and win them over. It's a job that requires emotions/personality. It's not those kind of jobs where you say "let me just do my stuff and go home". You must be really involved. You laugh when they laugh, play when they want, take sharp objects away from them using tricks, have endless boring chats with them if necessary, apologize for almost everything, etc. The job requires patience and understanding, and they're meant to understand this before starting.

First, the US and Russia will never get into war because both countries know they'd be more to lose than to gain. They'd rather use thier allies as pawns. However, if Russia should have a face off with NATO, they won't survive it regardless of thier military might. That's because Russia does not have the economic grandeur to stand NATO. If the western world cuts them off, China alone cannot supply all their needs. The US might have thier issues but Russia needs to understand that being the world power is more about sacrifices than anything else. The US has aided humanity far more than any other country. Thier culture is also open to all unlike what is obtainable in the Middle East. This is why the country is very influential and they wouldn't hesitate to use that influence if need be.

We are not in a position to tell you who to love more. We don't know what your relationship with your mum is like. We also don't know the sacrifices your wife has made for you. What we do know for sure is that you didn't have any reason to say it. Such things are better kept to oneself.

My wife is the one thing I love the most, though I also love my kids and my mother. Aside from God, my wife makes me happy. If one has a good wife or husband, the person does not know how much God has blessed one.

Re-reading this, I don't think he actually meant to disrespect the mum. He said his wife is one thing he loves the most. That's normal.

Sorry, OP. I know some white people are making conscious effort to be less racist but then again, thier perception of Africans is ingrained. Funny is, they're sometimes not even aware their actions are racist (this does not include your so-called friend). The conversation you had with your flatmate couldn't have gotten rid of his longtime understanding of Africa. If anything, he only kept his thoughts to himself in order not to hurt you (and at the same time, knowing he's got what it take to hurt you). And when he got into a fight with you, he went with the mindset of "all is fair in love and war". In other words, the goal of a fight is to hurt the other party and, like I said, he believed he had just the right tool for that.

We all have our almost-knotted mindset about certain people. People say many things during a fight. Your friend may or may not be a "good" person, but one thing for sure, he'd hit below the belt when triggered. What matters now is what you'd do with this knowledge. Don't keep malice, it's not good for your mental health. So forgive but don't forget. Know him for who he is and always act accordingly. On the other hand, don't use his personality to judge white people cause that would only make you another him. Stay open minded. It will really make life easier for you out here.

It's not noise. People share events on social media. That's what social media is all about. The person that took the first position likely shared it with her social circle as well. You didn't see it cause her social circle is limited. And even if she didn't, it doesn't make it wrong to share such online. Y'all need to cut these so-called celebrities some slack. They are humans too. Twitter and Facebook are full of posts like this celebrating special moments. It's only called noise when celebrities do it.
