He didn't go down without a fight. RIP. |
gistmega:Well, African American is technically another name for black American aka afro American. It is an ethnicity that comprises of Americans of black African decent (partial ancestry inclusive). Before now, the term was used to describe descendants of enslaved Africans who are from the United States. However, it has evolved over time to include blacks and children of blacks who willingly moved to the US in recent times and got their citizenship. The whites in South Africa are immigrants from the West (referred to as white Africans). Even if they move to the US, they wouldn't be called African Americans (which exclusively refer to blacks). It's all about ancestory and not necessarily nationality. Elon is not African in terms of ancestry. Calling him an African American will not only distort his ancestory, it will also obliterate the fact that's he's not of African decent. When tied to nationality (passport), the individual's original nationality is rather hyphenated or just combined with the word "American". Example: Nigerian-American. So it's safe to refer to him as South African American. But then again, he's also Canadian, right? So maybe South African Canadian American? Honestly, I don't see why he should make it that complex if he doesn't want to. There are many like him in the US. |
Proudlyomonna:Which part of the write-up suggests he has a car? |
ILoveDemMANNA:Vampire? |
Why do we like making things difficult for one another? The meat was given to her; it was up to her to do whatever she wanted with it. It was hers. Why make a video of her and share online? Why kind of joy do people derive from other people's discomfort? |
Palema007:Lol... I hardly comment on threads like this for obvious reasons but your comment got me laughing. These guys go around attacking anything female to the point that passersby like myself would be led to believe that being a redpiller is tantamount to being obsessed with women. Then you have people like the OP who conviently ignore the incessant attacks on women to create a thread titled "Why Attacking The Redpillers". I read it twice before I decided it must be a joke. |
For two reasons, NATO will not confront Russia. First, Ukraine is not a NATO member. Second (the main reason) Russia is like a mad man with a gun. If there's anything we've learned from this invasion, it is the fact that the Russian army is not a match for that of the United States. If the US fought back directly, they would be in a war with Russia. If Putin thought he couldn’t win that war with conventional arms alone (he’s having a hard enough time against just the Ukrainian army), he might very well escalate to nuclear war. Putin has no moral authority to defend. He doesn't mind nuking the world. His idea of "if I go down, the world must go down with me" is preposterous. Seeing the kind of person we're dealing with here, the onus is on the US/NATO to make sure it doesn't come to that. So yes, NATO is afraid of Putin, not because he is superior but because he is mad and must be approached carefully. |
hysteresis:I don't understand you guys over there. Couldn't you have asked me to provide the 8 points without the aggression? Anyway, here they are: Article 1: the parties should not strengthen their security at the expense of Russia’s security; Article 2: the parties will use multilateral consultations and the NATO-Russia Council to address points of conflict; Article 3: the parties reaffirm that they do not consider each other as adversaries and maintain a dialogue; Article 4: the parties shall not deploy military forces and weaponry on the territory of any of the other states in Europe in addition to any forces that were deployed as of May 27, 1997; Article 5: the parties shall not deploy land-based intermediate- and short-range missiles adjacent to the other parties; Article 6: all member States of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization commit themselves to refrain from any further enlargement of NATO, including the accession of Ukraine as well as other States; Article 7: the parties that are member States of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization shall not conduct any military activity on the territory of Ukraine as well as other States in the Eastern Europe, in the South Caucasus and in Central Asia; and Article 8: the agreement shall not be interpreted as affecting the primary responsibility of the Security Council of the United Nations for maintaining international peace and security. |
I don't get it. People have been showing baby bumps before Rihanna became an adult. How is it that someone doing it now is copying her? Who did Rihanna copy? Or she invented it? I believe those calling her Rihanna-wannabe are those who believe everything foreign is superior. |
TheWolfen:That was the requirement in December 2021. That bit has been excluded, luckily. |
GodHatesBigots:Yes, I just learned this. I have updated my post. Thanks. |
SarkinYarki:If these are his terms, he's actually relaxed his requirements. Check the 8 points he gave in December 2021. |
BSsniffer:This is not all about Ukraine anymore. OP did not list all the demands. Putin wants NATO to remove any troops or weapons deployed to countries that entered the alliance after 1997, which would include much of eastern Europe, including Poland, the former Soviet countries of Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and the Balkan countries. So, at this point, Ukraine is just a hostage. Edited Sorry, OP said there's a new list with four points (as against the 8 points listed in December 2021). |
OP, you got the demands wrong. Or should I say, incomplete. **Edit** There's a new list. Dude is finally coming to terms with reality. He'd probably still shrink some more. |
nams77:Call a spade a spade, everything must not burn down to sexism. This herd mentality is eroding people sense of judgemental on this platform. The actor kept his colleagues (men and women) waiting for 8 hours (a whole business day) and your reaction is to attack women. Phew... |
alphabbey1:First, you've left what I pointed to delve into other discussions. I was saying your post I quoted echoed what the other guy said cause China offering an alternative to system is purely for the economic gains and not a show of support. Second, your first statement is self contradicting. You said they count on no one and then went ahead to state the countries they count on to fill the gap. Or does "count on" have another meaning? Third, the second statement suggests that Russia is holding the world hostage, and I don't really see how the mentality of "if I go down, the world must go down with me" is praiseworthy. Anyway, we'll be here to see how it unfolds. |
alphabbey1:I think you echoed the same thing the guy said. China provided the alternative payment means because it was thier own opportunity to extend thier influence and make money while at it. History has shown that China is all about thier economy. They don't support anyone based on goodwill. They'll take any business advantage they'd get from these sanctions but even Russia is a competitor and Russia's economic downfall gives China more power. This doesn't mean they'd side the West but Russia just can't count on them too. You get it? |
immortalcrown:Sorry. |
Lol... I'm beginning to enjoy Trump's comedy now that he doesn't have the wheel. |
Congratulations! Babies are so heartwarming |
immortalcrown:Hhmm... You're probably judging by those in showbiz who obviously use the publicity to promote thier businesses. Someone who earns from social media is like a signboard; the moment they lose attention, they lose relevance. So the money they spend just to trend is an investment. Otherwise, I don't think there's enough data to support your conclusion. Even this chieft priest would look at Adenuga and say "the rich". So what makes one "the rich"? Is there a certain account balance used as a yardstick? To some people, immortalcrown is the rich simply because he can afford a smart phone, internet subscription and time to have this chat. We have these people sleeping under the bridges in Lagos. You probably don't even know any of them because they're not in your social circle, and when you pass, they'd look at you and say "the rich don't care about the poor". Like I said, we all have the same obligations or lack of it. Let's keep preaching giving but not condemn anyone for using thier money to secure thier future. If he runs out cash tomorrow, the poor will not help him. #Opinion |
immortalcrown:You started by stating that rich people giving to rich people is not bad but the you ended up making condemning them somewhat acceptable. It's almost as if you made the first statement as an escape route in case someone calls you out. Otherwise, if rich man supporting rich man is not bad as you said, why would you then condemn the rich for giving to then rich? The truth is, we are all men before being classified as rich and poor, and as men, we are naturally investment oriented. We tend to expect some kind of ROI for each penny spent. If a rich man is giving to a rich man, it's not because he doesn't know his fellow rich man has his own. He's doing it to strengthen his network and secure his "people currency" for himself and his kids. Hardwork, intelligence, talent and luck could make you reach but you need certain habits/lifestyle to keep your lineage there, and provided no one's rights are trampled, I won't condemn anyone for doing what he feels is good for himself. It's easy to stay back and condemn some people called "the rich" but the truth is, we all have the same obligations or lack of it. How many poorer people have you reached out to? Giving is a choice and we must continue to preach it, but we're not really in a position to condemn anyone for giving to someone of the same status cause we all do it. The birthday gift you give to your friend could be a big deal to a poorer person just like this cash is a big deal to you. Just saying. |
Real goats ? And why did use an image of a sheep in the report? |
Parachoko:Actually, what he's saying is that the Taiwanese government was the original government of China which was toppled by CCP. Taiwanese aren't just "runaways". They weren't even secessionists. They just refused to buy into the CCP's ideology and they have every right to be left alone. Technically speaking, China is the "separatist" here thus the reason the guy said China belongs to Taiwan. If the free word falls, even Africa will go back to authoritarian leadership where millions of people will have to swing along with the mood of one person. |
Of course, everyone is gonna redraw the map as it suits them. Cameroonians will take aby part of Nigeria that has cultural ties with them. Nigeria will take Southern Niger and Eastern Binin. Sovereignty is fast becoming a thing of the past. Imagine the precedence. |
Lol... Russia calling others bandits is the most ridiculous thing on the Internet. |
allcomage:Who are they? |
Happy for her. ![]() |
Wow... as an adult, sometime I wish I knew what I know now when I was a teenager. |
SlyCharlie: Hanks0000:Oh... I see. It's clearer now. Thanks, guy! |
I heard the JAMB stuff is very difficult. My cousin did his twice before leaving the country. Is JAMB the same as UME? So students are expected to pass JAMB, WAEC, NACO and Post UME to be admitted into the university? |
immortalcrown:Why is this a good thing though? |
