Umpteenth* Stay happy. |
Hahaha... smh. |
KingdomlessKing:I know the feeling, bro. More power to you. |
openmine:I agree with you on this one. I am wasting my time on you cause you're not here to learn. |
KingdomlessKing:Lol... you've done your job as the big bro. |
Wow! Transformation! It's good he's working towards his happiness. |
openmine:Read the statement in the image below: When men cheat on their girlfriends or wives, do the women go back to the men who cheated on them? Does this mean all men cheat on thier partners? You simply dodged my explanation to keep parroting the same thing. If you don't know the meaning of "when" in that sentence, it is not my fault. But like I said, there's nothing in my statement that suggest all men defend cheating men. I don't need "some" when I have used the mark of occasion "when". I understand English is a second language in Nigeria but there are some inherent features of the language that make a lot of difference to native speakers. I don't know how else to explain that to you. But I'm certainly not responsible for your understanding. I said what I said, you can feel however you want to feel.

KingdomlessKing:I see. I just wonder what part of Geography would require that Nigerian students draw the map of Ghana. Regional Geography usually centers more on one's own country. |
silverlinen:At least, they had something to do when pushed to the wall. The military will push you to the wall and still force you to shatter the wall and keep moving. |
silverlinen:We've tried them before and there's a reason we dumped them. Nigerians of today cannot stand a military regime. The same people that scream when someone is arrested for naming his dog Buhari. The same people that scream when Buhari ignores courts orders. The same people that scream EndSars when they feel maltreated? Knowing that all these are nothing compared to what's obtainable under military regime, how do you think these people would react when it's rubbed on thier faces that there's nothing they can do and that they could even be sentenced to death for screaming or protesting? You're probably saying this cause you weren't there during the military regime and there's a tendency to believe the grass is greener on the other side. But trust me, when the chips are down, the Nigerians of today will always value freedom above infrastructure. A military rule would be a hundred steps backwards. My opinion. |
openmine:I see this is a problem of comprehension. There's a difference between "I feel bad that men defend cheating men" and "I feel bad when men defend cheating men". The word "when" makes all the difference. It means "on the occasion of" which means it's not all the time. So the expression "this is how ladies feel when men rush to defend cheating men" does not in any way suggest that all men defend cheating men. I'm even shocked that anyone would interpret it that way. That I feel sad when pastors scam thier followers does not mean all pastors scam thier followers. It means there are pastors that scam thier followers and when they do, it makes me feel bad. The word "when" means "on the occasion of", "whenever", etc. Tell me, don't you feel bad when mothers push thier daughters into marrying rich men? Does that mean all mothers push thier daughters into marrying rich men? I don't know how the English language is used in Nigeria but the fact that you read my comment to mean "all men defend cheating men" is a function of your understanding and I'm not to be judged by that, neither am I changing a single word in that correctly written comment. Sorry. |
silverlinen:Sad, really. But who are Africans and who are the politicians? This would have made more sense if the coup was about kicking some foreigners out of the country. But the case here is that of a group of people kicking out another group so that they'd go and have thier own share. Both the politicians and the coup plotters are from the same herd. And military rule hasn't proven to be any better in Africa. In fact, if coup was an ideal solution, Africa would have been better today given how many of them we've had. I may not have a solution myself, but I think this is an issue of lack of checks and balances. I know African leaders are very corrupt but we also have corrupt minded politicians in the western world. They just don't have the enabling environment to do whatever they want. I believe what Africa needs is a system. We need to be governed by a system where people are just fillers. There's an obvious lack of well defined institutions. But who will create this system and subject himself to it? ![]() |
advanceDNA:There's no biological evidence the desire to have kids is innate. That's a very straightforward statement. If you have any, school me. |
openmine:Which part of my statement remotely suggests that all the guys in the world support men that cheat? You rush to quickly attack me for calling people's attention to the effects of gender dichotomy, but I'm sure you read all the derogatory comments about Nigerian women on this platform and look the other way. As annoying or painful as it may be to you, the comments of those ladies up there are not different from what we read on this platform everyday. You know this as much as I do. |
advanceDNA:You've been struggling to deviate from the topic, but I don’t do directionless arguments. Majority does not in any way depict biological evidence as suggested by the word "innate". That the majority of Nigerian youths want to leave the country doesn't make the desire to leave Nigeria innate. It simply means people want to be happy and they'll likely do what makes them happy. I'm not using minority data to judge anything cause determining whether something is innate or not goes beyond statistics. And like I said, there's no biological evidence the desire to have kids is innate. If anything, it's acquired and passed on as the ideal way of life. |
advanceDNA:There's no evidence we're born with the desire to have kids. That's why I'm saying. |
advanceDNA:Not everyone wants kids, dude. Not everyone likes children. Some people love kids and would want to have thiers. Some people love kids but would rather adopt. Some don't like children at all and don't want anything to do with them. They are not unnatural. They just have have different desires in life. A deviation from majority doesn't make one unnatural. Just deal with it and stop trying to judge people with your own lifestyle/preferences. I don't know why this is so difficult in Africa. Are you saying that the millions of people out there who don't want children are not human enough? Live and let live. |
Crowwejihadist:Lol... you guys though. I doubt the other two ladies have more nude pics than Rihanna. But suddenly, this single picture has made her a great mother in your opinion. |
cazchi:Lol... he's married. Cast your net elsewhere. ![]() |
Lol... I don't really know what the map should look like but it seems you did a great job. Are you in Ghana? |
This story is hard to believe. |
It's very safe, OP. Provided she's in good health, her body has millions of eggs that she'd probably never need and they'd be depleted at a certain age. |
Mogajunior:How is this bad though? |
advanceDNA:I know some people would do this cause of the possibility of transmitting some unwanted traits or conditions to thier offspring but the truth is, not everyone wants to have kids. There's nothing innate about it. The majority might want it but others would rather go for different other available ways of expressing love and living a happy life without having kids. The word is made up of billions of people and we are extremely diverse in all perspectives. It wouldn't be smart to assume everyone must want to have children. That idea is why people with uncommon lifestyles are looked at as weird in Africa. |
Happy for him. It takes courage to know what makes you happy and pursue it despite the backlash from people who think it's thier duty to tell you how to live your life. |
The world is made up of billions of people. It would be ridiculous to think we all must want the same lifestyle. Do what makes you happy. I understand it could be hard in Africa for one not to sticky to thier strict uninspiring life pattern but your happiness must come first. |
This is huge!!! |
Okunga:Android is just an OS and could run on multiple devices. If we want to get more specific, the truth is that high end Samsung phones are more expensive than high end iPhones. |
High end Samsung phones are more expensive than high end iPhones. |
Compulsory? Have you ever been arrested or fined for not doing do? |
Creditalerts:Lol... OK. Cool. |
Tomek09:Hhm.... where did you get your version from? Kanamara Matsuri (aka Festival of the Steel Phallus) is all about prayers to the god Kanayama-hiko and the goddess Kanayama-hime for fertility, easy child birth, marital harmony, and protection from sexually transmitted infections. Most gods associated with fertility in Asia are represented with such works of art. In India, it's in the form of a pregnant woman with a big peni.s. |
