You guys have already sorted it out... so why are you here? Some of y'all just can't resist the urge to create women threads. It's as if no one wants to be left out of the relationship drama. |
MCKitchen:What do you mean there's a different between discipline and assault? I'd like to learn more about that bit. |
Sad |
Everyone should be careful. |
Mr. Noodles. |
I didn't realize the word "barb" could be used as a verb. Nigerian English is interesting. OP, nice work. |
Who makes the rules? |
Ogamysamo:Lol... I saw your DM. Thanks for reaching out, but don't bother about me. You see how you stated your identity in your sig and no one has DM'ed you to ask you why? I think that's how you should let others be too. In fact, brother, I don't think a Christian who jabs other religions like you did in your sig has the moral standard to talk to anyone about being a good Christian. The way you see people of other faith is exactly how they see yours. |
Ogamysamo:Lol... honestly, I haven't been in church in a very long while. |
How is this funny though? |
Used to be (g) back then. Memories. |
Gambie vs Cameroun OR Gambia vs Cameroon Cameroon is not like Côte d'Ivoire that always stays in French. |
osazsky:Lol... you also missed the point. It's all good, bro. I get you. |
Ikpeabujo:Did you get involved with other girls? Did you tell her about them? I think we should be realistic with our expectations. Besides, that broken communication is actually a big deal. The moment a man abroad stops communicating as he used it, it sends all sorts of signals. Once the doubt is planted, your gifts become like gifts from any other man. She started nursing those doubts when you said something about you leaving her. There's no right or wrong here. I like to maintain my peace of mind while also trying not to hurt others. Do what gives you peace. It was an experience, pick what you can learn from it and move on. |
VEXT:Sad reality of the African woman. Of course. You never wanted to hold the culprit accountable cause of gender bias. So I was right when I said you making a case for men was only a defense mechanism and not any form of sensitization. A woman will never openly support a female rapist like y'all do here cause no one wants thier male child raped. But you let sexism stop you from seeing the big picture. Enjoy yourself. |
VEXT:Voice out for men than. Not when you read a rape case where a woman is the victim, you start saying "would you say that if it was a man?". You're trying to shut the guy down for speaking up. That's a defence mechanism and not sensitization. You're using men's misfortune as a tool to defend rapists. You're saying "hey, stop shouting, they rape us too". How can you not see anything wrong with that? Speak up when men are raped. Encourage them to report it without shame. But don't use that to counter the campaign against rape. |
VEXT:Dude, stop this fruitless gender defense and criticize the culprit. When a woman does it, say what you think should be said. It's a man that did it now, voice out against it. Bringing up gender dichotomy each time there's a rape issue is so inhumane. Do you guys really want to let sexism destroy your society? Tribalism isn't enough? From another thread: WoundedLamb: |
OP, this is not statutory rape. If he had sex with her without her consent, it's simply rape. #SayNoToRape |
Everyone should be careful. |
Ikpeabujo:Honestly, it won't make me sad. What would make me sad is if you are leaving her cause of what people say here or if you accept her and still hold grudges against her. If you want to leave her cause you feel she's not being honest with you, it's valid. You know what you consider a deal breaker and what you consider no big deal. Asides the possibility of her lying, I personally don't have any other thing against her. I feel she'd open up if you opened up about your own life abroad. But then again, a lie is a lie and, like I said, it's valid if you feel you both already have a shaky foundation cause of it. And for the sake of your next relationship, I do hope you know that what you give is what you get. If you want honesty and commitment, trying offering those in return. |
Vikelo1212:Did you watch the video? It doesn't look like it. |
Ikpeabujo:Sorry I couldn't give a black-or-white answer. I'm glad you found my response a bit helpful. Best of luck. |
Both could be correct. It's subjective/contextual. In STEM, I'd go with A. In Arts, I'd go with B. Context is key. And if I must pick, I'd go with A since the guy mentioned Engineering. |
Iyaebe:The guy is really randy? And, out of curiosity, what's the logic behind presenting men as animals that need to be tamed? I personally believe it's a choice if a lady wants to stay back and tame any randy person but not an expectation or duty. You can hardly remould an adult, and you don't want to subject yourself to a life of constantly worrying about what next the randy fellow will do. I love the couple. It takes courage/confidence for people to openly express thier love like this. ![]() |
ValCon888:All of them cannot make the most money, only one can (or a collection earning the same figure). |
OP, thanks for sharing. Like others said, a few catchy pics might get you more clicks. By the way, isn't that a zoo? Any reason why you called it a farm? |
softwerk:Catching an impostor is sadistic? |
inoki247:People go to social media everyday to express their grief. It's only an offense when stars do it. |
Will they also stop websites like NL from advertising products the web owners like Seun do not use? Influencers are like websites and signboards, they work hard to maintain some level of attention and they use the attention to service thier clients by getting their products to a larger audience. It's purely business and most people know these guys don't use every product they advertise except it's in the contract terms. The best the law can do is to make it mandatory for the Influencers to clearly state it's a sponsored ad whenever they share these products on thier TL's. |
webhead:Everybody's has changed including "today's men". "Today's women" might be wicked but it's nothing compared to today's men who have turned to scamming, ritualistic killings and all sorts of things. We can't keep pretending like it's only women that have changed. But regardless of the change, women still run the home today. Or do men now run the home? Millions of people get married everyday and raised their kids with the woman as the care taker. If you are going to call our today's women because they are some women who are wayward or anything like that but refuse to call out today's men for the atrocities we read on the front page everyday, then it's a clear bias and gender bias is for teenagers, dude. You guys only say today's women cause that expression helps you exclude your mothers but the truth is, today's women are people's mothers too and they are products of the society that has affected both men and women. Resist the urge to judge people by gender. Treat each person as an individual. Sexism is not different from racism. |
