fadilaMaikiriki: My friend said he got this chicken for about 8k. This is the chicken after it has been dressed. They are actually bigger than they appear in the pictures below.
Attached below are pictures of the chicken;
Pics 1 and 2: In a pot.
Pics 3: In a plastic
Pics 4: Spread out on a bag.
Pics 5-7: Some of them, after they've been fried. They were so tasty and delicious.
Pics: There were potatoes laying around, so I decided to make some chips out of some. This is what you get when you have Fadila in your kitchen. I can create things in here ( the kitchen). I can turn nothing into something here. The kitchen is one of my favorite places in a house. I make things happen here. And I'm not kidding. A trial will convince you.
Pics 8-10: The chicken and chips. So so tasty, crunchy sweet and delicious.
Very disgraceful. But then again, it's good to know that action is being taken to fish out the idiots from the immigration personal to the Festac Town police who extorted the U.S.-based Professor Okediji.
Gentlesoul2021: Everybody is waiting for this tomorrow from Mohamed Salah and people to bash him
What do you think of this guy action despite being a Muslim.
There are over 8 million Egyptian Coptic Christians who are the original land owners of Egypt before the 7th century C.E. Muslim Arab invasion of North Africa and Southern Spain from their ancestral homeland in the Arabian Peninsula. So, these fanatical creeps should have some tolerance and cut this dude some slack!
Yes, there are very wide doctrinal differences (based on my several years of study of world religions and comparative religion) in who the Muslim and Christian Jesus/Yeshua/Isa is, being that the Muslims do NOT believe in the manger birth but believe the biblical Jesus was born under a palm tree, or that he moulded a live bird out of clay as a little child, and also spoke as a baby, all of which of course are exact rehashing or copying of the Gnostic gospel of Thomas that was widespread in the second century C.E.

It is not rare for some people to consume the seeds due to its high medicinal and nutritional content but some rather not. It is a drought-tolerant, dioecious perennial and is grown trellised due to its a vine-like structure. One major advantage of the latter is that the fruit pods suppresses the growth of weeds. Seeds are planted directly in the soil, typically in the groups of three to increase output in case of a failed germination.

The fruits are harvested between October and December. The seeds are subsequently harvested and dried; a portion, consumed and the other stored for the next planting season.
Successful growth is ensured when seeds are planted on well-drained soils. Seed viability and longevity of leaves are ensured that they are stored in sealed, polythene bags at a temperature between 2-4°C as it is a highly perishable crop produce.
Small lesions can induce pod rot and can cause very serious damage to the entire fruit, rendering it unusable. Improper storage of the leaves can also induce rapid loss of nutrients and water content.

Atikuorbuhari: Man who caught rat in his living room decided to utilize the rat to become something very edible, he prepared it and took it with his rice.
Kobojunkie: I am not concerned about your not eating it yourselves. It is just that you are handing a potential relative of yours out for others to eat though.
That cracked me up... You're good in logic and reasoning. Lol...
junketer: AJ is british. Ya'll rejected him during the olympics but now you want to reap what you did not sow. He was born in nigeria but he's a british boxer. Period.
Let me step in here.
Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua (AJ) was NEVER born in Nigeria. He is infact a Prince from a prominent royal family in Sagamu, Ogun State (his paternal great great grandfather was an Oba or king of his hometown), and he was born in the UK to a mixed ancestry British-Nigerian father of Yoruba and White Irish descent. AJ's biological mother is also a Yoruba woman from Sagamu.
AJ reps Africa and Nigeria a lot by eating Nigerian food and gravitating towards his paternal culture despite being a British-born (born in London), due to the fact that he is conversant with his Nigerian roots and he even has a tattoo on his upper arm showing the outline of the map of Africa with Nigeria clearly embedded in it, symbolizing "WISDOM."
Rebuker: Anthony Joshua Beats Otto Wallin as Deontay Wilder is Outboxed by Joseph Parker.
In the lead-up to his ring entrance in Saudi Arabia, Anthony Joshua's aspirations for a lucrative clash with Deontay Wilder faced a setback when Wilder suffered a clear defeat to Joseph Parker. In contrast, Joshua showcased a strategic approach, dominating Otto Wallin for five rounds until Wallin's corner halted the bout.
The highly anticipated "Day of Reckoning" card featured Joshua and Wilder as co-headliners, initially geared towards setting up a two-fight series between them in 2024. Despite Wilder's recent defeat, Joshua heads into the new year with significant momentum, eager to achieve remarkable feats.
Wallin struggled to find his footing in the match, encountering difficulty in overcoming Joshua's jab and powerful right hand. Joshua, commendably reverting to his more aggressive style from past years, consistently pushed Wallin onto the defensive.
In the pivotal fifth round, Joshua landed a formidable right hand followed by a left hook, causing Wallin to stagger. While Joshua attempted to capitalize on the moment for a stoppage, Wallin managed to survive until the bell.
Notably, Joshua expressed disinterest in Wilder's loss post-fight, emphasizing his self-focus and the importance of his own performance. Despite the setback, Joshua refrained from dismissing a potential 2024 bout with Wilder, considering the busy schedules of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
Addressing the possibility of a Wilder match in the future, Joshua drew parallels to Daniel Dubois' comeback, highlighting the potential for redemption. Joshua's composed stance reflects a willingness to entertain the possibility of a future encounter, acknowledging the enduring interest in such high-profile matchups.
In reaction to Anthony Joshua's excellent performance defeating Otto, Eddie Heaven says: "GIVE ME TYSON FURY NOW, PLEASE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TYSON FURY BEATS ANTHONY JOSHUA.”
A well-deserved win for 'Femi (AJ), but he's got to be in brutal shape in case of any future fights with Deontay Wilder and/or Tyson Fury, who will be mentally dying to prove themselves on the global boxing stage.
I've got lots of respect for these young boxers who are still in their 30s, and my take has always been: "May the better man or puncher win."
All the previous Nigerian civilian governments since 1999 including the current one led by President Bola Tinubu have been inadvertently condoning the massive spread of fake news by NOT punishing those who criminally defame and concoct fake news on social media, television and newspapers. Punishments under existing laws with hard labor will deter these things from regularly occuring.
For the sake of social sanity and national stability, these criminals who spread fake news with impunity have to be brought to justice by the current Nigerian Federal government's intelligence apparatus NOW!
grafixdon: That's your enemy right there, not a friend. A friend that could keep such secret from you even when you've been nice to him not worthy to be call a friend. The same thing happened to me a year ago, imagine my close friend travelled outta country without letting me know. We even went to bar a day before he travelled. A friend of about 17years. Common.
I can see how that might have hurt you since you both went to a bar just a day before he travelled... But if the guy contacted you on getting to the country he relocated to (UK, Canada, etc) then you can still relate with him as a friend, and forgive him.
Peter532: I don't know if I should be angry or just smile and take it as it is. This is someone that I fed, I clothed despite us being closed friends since we were kids. He knows everything about me that my parents don't even know till dates..We could go to a gathering together and I will be the one ordering and paying for everything we bought even recently because I always acted like the big bro and he accepted I guess .. Just last week I saw it on his status about is house opening invite. I later got a dm from him that same evening telling me about it that I should come through.
It came as a surprise I admit, even though I know he was doing quite well for himself. I know some will call it entitlement mentality but since I considered we were close like a brother we even ate from same plate last 2weeks, I thought I should have known atleast.
Note: I noticed so many people will come in here to call me names, even some accusing me to be someone with bad motives and sort I smile. Not everyone has a evil mindset like you or some persons you know, It's just that when you expect so much from people you hold very close to your heart you might get disappointed and it hurts badly.
Especially when you know you can't do that same thing to that person. I only brought it out here because I wanted to know maybe I'm overreacting because I feel a deep level of betrayal but hey I am happy for him and I will attend the house opening tomorrow.
File Photo for Illustration
You're overreacting. Some people don't even tell their family members when buying or building houses until later... And that's fair enough. Congratulate him since he also contacted you via DM, and then move on with your life without envy or bitterness towards him because he built a new house. Period.

okoroemeka: imagine if such fish is left in the wild for 15-20 years,I have seen a catfish captured in imo river that is more than 25 times the size of that pond breed,it was sold for #25k in 2005 and it took more than 5 men to load it inside a cargo bus
That's incredible! A large catfish of that size in a natural habitat like Imo river. I wonder if crocodiles are in the Imo River as well?
What state was that catfish got in 2005? I know the Imo river flows through many states from Abia right through Akwa Ibom, Rivers, then right into the Atlantic ocean.
LocalFARMERS: This Cat Fish is actually 3 years. The owner decide not to sell it. It is now like a Pet.
That's awesome. I never knew that catfishes could grow as big as that at 3 years of age. I wonder if the catfish taste would still remain the same if eventually served as a meal.
Truths9ja: Lol 😂 I’m just smiling . Toke is very funny
Toke Makinwa Tells Ladies How To Meet Wealthy Men In Lagos
Renowned Nigerian media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa, has offered some advice to Nigerian ladies on how to meet wealthy men in Lagos, sharing the insights in a recent episode of her YouTube show, “Toke Moments.”
Toke Makinwa decided to share this information following some online criticism she faced for being part of the Tinubu delegates list to COPA 28 from Nigeria to Dubai.
In the video, Toke advises ladies to reconsider going to clubs if they aim to meet affluent men this Christmas. She emphasizes that nightclubs are not ideal, pointing out the chaotic and distracting environment where it’s challenging to distinguish influential individuals.
Toke Makinwa supports her stance by noting the hot and noisy atmosphere of clubs during the festive season. Instead, she suggests that the prime place to encounter wealthy men in Lagos this Christmas is at house parties. To seize this opportunity, she encourages ladies to have the budget for it and to connect with people who have access to these exclusive events.
Expanding on her advice, Toke Makinwa specifically recommends attending house parties in upscale areas such as Banana Island, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, and Lekki Phase 1. She firmly asserts that anywhere outside Lekki is no longer considered Lagos, and ladies should focus their efforts on these prime locations.
In conclusion, Toke Makinwa reaffirms her advice, emphasizing that the real opportunities to meet affluent individuals unfold at house parties.
A post shared by Intel Region (@intelregion) Is this behavior expected from someone who accompanied the president to the COPA 28 in Dubai? Or is it simply a reflection of her workplace atmosphere where discussions cover diverse topics, regardless of their nature?
I watched the podcast where she was kinda goofing. She's partly right about the differences in the club and house party scenes though... I won't delve into the specifics here. Toke seems to "know what time it is"...
Seriously though, even Attorneys for instance attend regular high profile parties while looking well-dressed for the purpose of networking. They also are members of recreational clubs such as golf courses and places such as Ikoyi Club.
Nairaland's server was taken down by our host's abuse team because of an abuse report that wasn't attended to on time.
After rectifying the error, we brought the server back for a few minutes, but they decided to take the server down again. Since then, we haven't heard from the abuse team, yet the support team keeps insisting that only the abuse team can help us.
So we had to transfer Nairaland to a temporary host in order to bring it back to you. A VERY time-consuming process. We are not fully back, even though most features of the site are working. We still have a long way to go. Additional downtime is likely; don't let it alarm you.
There's a lot more to say, but I have to go back to work to ensure that our return is permanent. Please forgive us for the stress we caused. We appreciate the love and support that you showed us during the ordeal. Nairaland is too important for us to let this happen again.
Best Regards, Seun Osewa.
@Seun, Nice to have this Website back. I was on NL the very day it suddenly lost host connection and I got to know finally through Punch newspaper online and several online media that you posted on X that Cloudflair suspended NL temporarily. I tried visiting alternate Websites but NOTHING compares to Nairaland with that eye-friendly green monochrome background.
I've been a veteran NL member since 2005 with an older account and will continue to be. You also have to start working on putting in place a major contingency plan in case you are indisposed and not readily gonna be available so that NL can continue to function without you.
The man has been identified as Sunday Maduegbunam Kosisochukwu from Ogidi in Anambra state.
He was confronted by youths in the community after the video of him beating a woman believed to be his mother went viral. They asked him if the video was doctored and he admitted he's the one in the video and it wasn't doctored.
He acknowledged he did wrong and asked for forgiveness.
However, the youths made him have a taste of his medicine. They tied his hands and feet to a tree and flogged him too
Bump.
That last (3rd) picture of this guy being tied to a tall palm tree in readiness for flogging by the youths of that community really cracked me up...
Brutally beating your mother or anybody else in public doesn't cut... What if she collapses and passes on in the process? You need to come correct!
I have quietly followed the Rivers political tussle and read this full Punch newspaper interview. There are CLEARLY many Rivers indigenes who are very happy that tension has reduced after the latest intervention of President Bola Tinubu that had in attendance Nuhu Ribadu (the National Security Adviser), former Rivers Governor Peter Odili, Adokiye Amiesemaka (who I respect as a great former soccer star and a former Attorney General of Rivers State), and more.
Below is the SUN newspaper article of the 11th of December 2024, showing Chief Edwin Clark CLEARLY calling for the intervention of President Bola Tinubu in resolving the Rivers State crisis! Now he has intervened and some Ijaws and non-Ijaws who are NOT from Rivers State are criticizing him and stocking the embers of fire. What more do some of these Ijaws and non-Ijaws want? Rivers State is very strategic to the security of Nigeria and MUST not be allowed to go up in flames by a few people who have self-interests! Governor Fubara must be allowed to concentrate from here on out so as to deliver strategic projects to the state and the state party structure should be a win-win situation for the benefit of all. Period.
