The local government executives in the victims' ward suspended him.
Not some bloke in the capital with an ax to grind.

If suspension can only be done at the ward level, then nobody can suspend Oshiomole because
he has region under his control.

See you.. She said that because that's what her husband and his friends advised her, which she believed wholeheartedly.
During buhari first term she complained bitterly that things are hard ever since buhari got in, she swore never to vote buhari again but few weeks to election she changed her mind and was discussing with her fellow yorubas. I was right there and they were speaking yoruba which i understood.. This is someone i relate very well with but she thinks I'm a northerner or something. Till now she doesn't know I'm igbo
Complaining about the economy is normal for most ordinary folks.
However, only politicians and those who directly benefit from them care
about and express passionate dislike or preference for a candidate that is not currently in office.

I know this because I have been around the south-west political scene for long and I know how different people react to politics.

If at all there is any truth to your story, then you have left out the most important part which you probably don't know about.
Iya aduke is not neutral!

She is deliberately spreading pro-Buhari propaganda for specific rewards.

An animal over yoruba anytime anyday..
Wetin i use my eyes see ehn before buhari second term.. Was in the midst of yorubas come and see how they insult igbo finish just because peter obi was atiku running mate. They didn't know i was igbo o.. I just played along. They called igbo thieves and said they rather suffer under buhari than have igbo man in presidency. That day ehn.. I just shook my head in pure disappointment cos iya aduke was among them and i usually leave change for her whenever i patronise her shop.
You are a liar and divisive element.
Ordinary people like Iya Aduke don't care about politics nor election for that matter.
PoliticsRe: FLASHBACK - Social Media Bill Is Dead On Arrival – Saraki by Xisnin(m): 6:29pm On Nov 13, 2019
9jatriot:
Everywhere in the world, people are now realizing that certain elements use social media as a tool for the propagation of evil and are doing everything to curb it. Similar legislation are springing up in Germany, Uk and other parts of Europe. If you want to use social media, then use it responsibly but if one stupid post of yours leads to the death of other individuals then you must be held accountable for it, otherwise you have nothing to fear when you use the medium responsibly.

If Saraki was playing to the gallery does not mean the new man should do the same.
Oshigun:
Some are not looking at the bigger picture which is that trends worldwide show many nations now understand that social media used wrongly and malevolently can cause serious problems. Western nation who created social media are actually putting new legislation in place to curb its operation. We have to do same in Nigeria. As you concluded, if you use social media responsibly then its regulation will not concern you as it is not to muzzle free speech but to control very dangerous posted materials.
Why should you guys not be sent to jail for lying?

Of course, lots of unexposed illiterates would believe your lie that western country
are trying to punish people for using social media.

No single western country is trying to stop its citizens from using social media whichever way
they want.

Stop lying or you might be the first victim of the unjust law should power change hands.

You have 3 options.
1. Quit school and start a business that will help you leave home soonest.
2. Find a business you can combine with schooling so that you can avoid relying on your parents as much as possible.

or
3. Confront your mum and tell her to never compare you with anybody again.

Okay.
Our media houses should stop hyping tricks as a big achievement.
I had assumed it was some major breakthrough in pure or applied maths going by
several headlines I saw.

There are tens maybe even hundreds of tests for divisibility by 7.
I do not know if this is novel because it will be time-consuming to go through the literature.
Even if it is, a math trick is just a math trick.

News about a high school student's award should not make it outside of the recipient's family and school.

Well, congratulation to the boy for discovering another test for divisibility by 7.

So now human life is cheaper than dangerous poisonous animals.
Animal welfare is not a "western ideology".

It is your type that sees people who uphold culture as "local" yet you pretend to hate "western ideology".

Most snakes are non-poisonous.

He swore oat to abide by the constitution of the Republic of Nigeria but I guess it means nothing to him. I don’t know why we make issue like this a tribal issue. This is not between Igbo or Yoruba . We really need to stop this act of tribalism. That’s what the politicians are using against us all and am surprise in 2019 we are still allowing them to win over us with this tribalism. They know ones we are divided in tribes and religion they will always have there way. What goes around comes around. We need to fight for justice all together cos it might be your turn tomorrow .

Revolution and uprising are for people who are apolitical
If you are into politics or an opposition and you want to lead a revolution it is gonna be seen as MUTINY

What part of that did you miss?
To confirm with standards, she even paid his hospital bills, on seeing that standards have not been met(he still had hepatitis), she fired him. Now tell me how it's still her fault.
First you accused her of stereotypes, now you accuse her of flouting standards. What else will you accuse her of seeing she isn't guilty of these accusations you're leveling against her
She is guilty of everything!

I didn't accuse her of stereotyping, everybody including you agreed that her post was about stereotype.
You even defended the act by arguing it is necessary.

The fact that you keep bringing up her samaritan side shows that you haven't grasped the essence
of running a business. You don't run a business on emotion or blame game.

No sound businessperson will pay a higher wage and take bigger risks for a service they can get cheaper

Unfortunately, generalisations and stereotypes are very much needed even in business. Sometimes, you've got very little time to make a decision and you have to follow some beliefs you hold which are usually stemming from past experience, these are stereotypes and generalisations. You've got to do this a lot because you can't go on having a thorough check for every decision you need to make.
Saying it's a dumb conclusion doesn't make you appear more intelligent
A reckless businesswoman hired a boy who is not qualified according to the industry regulations.
Then, she got burnt in the process and decide to attack the "poor".

It isn't the poor who run down several banks in the Sanusi era, it is not the poor that accept contracts
and refuse to execute them. It isn't the poor that connive with suppliers to defraud their company.
It is unfortunate that I need to point this out in the first place.

If you took just a minute to think unlike this lady, you would realize that all her current employees
are most likely poor and they couldn't give her a similar problem because she probably followed the rule
while hiring them.

Apparently, neither she nor you got the real lesson from this experience.
She shouldn't have burdened the business with unnecessary risks.
She shouldn't treat a business like a charity and lastly, she should have accepted
responsibility for her failure as a manager instead of looking for the poor to blame.

In case you still think this is a problem of the poor, let her fire all her terrible poor workers and hire the rich.
Let us see how successful her eatery will become with the saintly and loyal rich staff.
Oh, the rich won't accept her slave-level wage, to begin with.

Anybody who can't connect basic dots has no business running a business.
