InvertedHammer:Adedibu was just an illiterate old politician using thugs to intimidate politicians or government for selfish interests. He has no political influence/values outside Ibadan, let alone other states. He has never founded a political party, non contesting in any election. He was nothing other than using thugs to rig elections for the highest bidders. He has no political legacy, principle and ideology. Is this same person you are comparing with Tunubu? |
Gift96:Exactly, Nigerians are hopelessly wicked, and there is no single sign of humanity in us. You collected cash free by selling your goods or service to people, instead of you to gladly give it to these POS guys and receive your money in accounts without having to pay charges as we normally do before, you decided to take advantage of cash scarcity and started selling it to them. If these guys that collected huge cash on daily basis did not wickedly turned it to business, pos would still be charging normal rate or slightly higher by now. Spit on anyone who think someone can change this country. The country that 99% of her citizens are wickedly corrupt. |
GeorgWashinton:Wait, wait, you mean you saw those evidences of her cheating nature, and you're yet to divorce her yourself? Why are you still keeping someone who do not want to be with you? Was there anything bad you did for her that is making you feel guilty? |
habsydiamond:Cars are not liability but necessity. If you calculate amounts of money people spent on public transport and the kind of stress they go through, you will realise having a car is better. There are some short distances you may not use upto a litre fuel that you may spend over 500 naira( with alot of stress) using public transport. Besides, maintenance is not that expensive if you get a good car. |
All politicians behind this will not know peace, they will lose the same election they are projecting to win by inflicting pains on the masses to score cheap political points. Why all banks Networks especially USSD suddenly gone worse since the inception of this stupid cashless policy? Why the petrol suddenly triple in price without any issue or explanation of genuine possible causes from government and stake holders? Why will you collect people's money and refuse to give them new ones? Now banks are rejecting old naira despite the fact that people don't get enough of new notes to spend. Politicians will finally ruin this country if care is not taking. |
Siwisheswereesh:Exactly, may he not know peace where ever he is tonight. I wonder how those we ought to see as role models would be behaving like animals. No one say cashless policy is bad, but the manners in which they intend to implement it is poor. You don't just wake up and impose something on people without looking into economic reality of same people. I am only with less than 1k now despite having money in my accounts. All POS around me don't have money, ATM at banks don't work, the ones that works is always fill with hundreds of people fighting one another to get their ways. USSD codes hardly works since this madness begins. Mobile apps are manageable but still not good enough this period. 2 days ago, I spent almost an hours waiting for money transferred to be deliver to the seller. May all those who inflicted this pain on Nigerians and their supporters know no peace in Jesus name. |
JohnSamuel35:I've replied sir. |
internationalman:Yes, jyiu can use your account without any issue, just that it could take you long period of time to get another loan. |
Una like bringing unnecessary shit to Nairaland. Something myself and many Nairalanders has said here countless times since months ago. I can bet it this man copied it on Nairaland. |
internationalman:That is not true, your loan provider don't have such authority or power. They cant stop you from using other bank accounts, the only thing they can do is to report you to credit bureau, and that is after they must have notice you had finally absconded with the loan giving to you. The "credit beareau " can flag your BVN to recover the loan. |
internationalman:It depends on duration of the loan. If your repayments is 3 months, and you failed to pay back at due date, you will be giving a grace period of another 3/4 months to pay back. If you still fail, they will redistribute your loan and extend it for long period( 1 year). Mind you, during this period of extension, you won't be able to secure loan in any CBN approved loan company or bank in Nigeria until you pay off. Even after this, your credit scores must have been seriously affected that no serious lenders will be willing to give you fast loan. For instance, if your loan is #100k, and you are to be paying back let say 40k every month for 3 months, if you fail to pay as explained above, they will redistribute your loan and share it into 12. That is, you will be paying 10k every month for 1 year. |
MONITITUDE:Lolz, Access bank of all banks. I have had issues with them two times before, they are not the kind of people to be civil with. Go to that bank and cause a scene, their manager will call you into the inner room and solve your problem for you. That was how I won my two cases with them. |
Your Landlord may be innocent, he may also be the reason for you people lack of progress in his house because this is Nigeria, anything is possible. I want you people to understand that it is not proper to accuse him wrongly without practical evidence against him. I will advise you to review your life and see what you are doing wrong or where you need some adjustments. If after all this, you still don't know what is going on with you, I will advise you to find another accommodation. |
DennisEche:Because opposition parties states, including individuals like you are playing politics with a good but poorly implemented policy. Anyone supported this policy is either ignorant, dependant, or stupid supporter of Opposition parties. |
POGazette:Let be guild in our utterances and stop this nonsense please. Nigerians can live anywhere in Nigeria without any form of intimidation but Lagos naturally belong to Yorubas, and it shall remain so forever. That any other tribe lives there for ages doesn't automatically turn them to Yorubas. Just like a typical Yoruba man cannot suddenly claim Igbo because he live in Aba for ages. Tinubu is Yoruba, so he have every right to his accentral land compare to anyone from other tribes. Though, it is illogical of INEC REC to disclose such confidential information at the pick of election. |
Throwback:Lolz, what do you expect before. I will immediately do the same if in the same shoes, follow by outing Adamu APC chairman. |
Jostoman:Lolz, you think Tinubu can easily dominated Lagos politics even against almighty PDP federal power without a reason. After the death of Funso Williams, all PDP governorship candidates, including this current Jandor are mole planted by Tinubu/ACN, now APC. Very simple political strategy that focus on sponsoring inferior candidates to win opposition parties tickets. |
DaddyFreeze2020:If Nigerians are the problems of Nigeria, then where will you see the said honest men of integrity? Look sir, Nigeria and Africa at large are still going through animalistic stages of humans development. If you watch animals closely in their habitants, you will discovere that an average black man behaved like one. Greediness, lack of empathy, survival of the fittest, lack of reasoning, lack of unity, heartlesness, etc, are all characteristics of these kindoms. A typical black man will have 10 houses, 20 cars, millions of money in his accounts, yet his close relatives and friends would be homeless, treak in the sun and penniless. The same people or his kind are quick to say "he works for his money", "entitlement mentality " blablabla, forgotten that humanity is the bedrock of a good society. Tell me how someone who cannot help his immediately relatives or friends have empathy or helped larger society? There is a reason why developed countries taxed the rich in order to feed the poor. Go to Western countries, particularly in USA, more than 70% of what is called social programs(free foods, subsidised houses, scholarships, stipend allowances, etc) are doing by individuals, private organisations and religions bodies. For instance, there is this free foods distribution organisation my brother and his wife donate $10 each from their pay check every week. Imaging just a family donate $20 to feed the less privileges without being force to do so. Not that they are very rich o, infact some families are donating over $200 to various social schemes without being ask or force. There is one barren white woman my in-law told me she donate 50% of her pay check weekly to orphanages. Tell me, how many people here can genuinely help his/her relatives, not to talk of lager society? My conclusion is that, as a prospective leader( in which 99.9 us are), if you dont cultivate the habits of helping others/empathise towards people around you like 90% of us do in Nigeria, there is no way you can do the same to your country if elected as leader. |
FlySly05:He dare not do that, otherwise he wont caught her ever again. The best way to catch a cheating wife is to play ignorant and at the same time looks out for solid evidence. |
Redman44:I think they should've bite me many times if they do o, because I beat and throw them like stone whenever I see them outside their camped segment. Got 4 of them early January and camp them inside pen with strong nets. These guys has destroyed anything on sight including all slippers using in the pen, solar cables, and sprayers bets. They will always find their way outside the net whenever no one is there. They don't seem growing in my eyes sef despite placing them on New hope professional feed and Moringa leafs. What else can I give them to grow fast and start producing young ones. Do they do well in the cage than giving them enough space on the floor? |
dustmalik:Please let learn to ignore these type of fools on Internet. Majority of them are dependants, who collected pocket money from their parents. They have zero responsibility, so they have no reason to complain. Aside those politicians playing politics with the hardship, no right thinking responsible adult who work and feed himself will support this useless policy. |
SmartGadgetz:We all want good government to take over from pathetic Buhari, and that is what everyone is praying for. Like I said before, you are not him, neither you know what is in his mind, so what make you sure about what he can do when he get there. You can never trust/know a politician until you give him power. Beside, why would you believe the promise of someone who once vowed on state TV that he will quit politics the day he leave APGA. That single scenario is enough to tell you that he is not a man with his words, and he ĺacks principle and character. My exact point is that, we can support him wholeheartedly( because APC and PDP are not any better) but don't be too sure that kind of personality will fulfil all his promises when he get there. Buhari of 2015 has taught me never to be carried away by anything Nigerians blindly praise to high heaven. |
SmartGadgetz:You attached too much emotion to this election of a thing as if you have seen the future. What if Obi disappoint you at the end of the day, just like the way Buhari disappointed all his followers tagging him as master strategist who can curb corruption and insecurity. You are not him, you cannot see the future or what he would turn out to be when he get there, why feeling so emotional about it? Non of them has rule in this capacity before, so the only thing a sensible person can use to judge them is their antecedents and hope they repeat the same effort once again. |
slimfit1:Oga, that is not how to implement a policy. Cashless policy is good but you don't need to force people to adopt it. They will do so themselves when they realise they are at disadvantage when making transactions. The following measure would've easily made 90% Nigerians adopted it within a year; 1. Heavy charges on OTC payment and withdraw (including ATMs). 2. Make ATM depense only lower domominations(100 or less). 2. 1000, 500 and 200 nairas must be relatively scarce. Print more 100 notes or less and pay people with it. 4. Make electronics transactions zero charges(at least temporarily) to attract more people. 5. Adopt a universal code for all banks that will be very easy for locals to use in sending and receiving payments. 6. Place limit on cash withdrawal on OTC and ATMs. If Obi cannot see anything absolutely wrong with this policy and condemned the process outrightly, I am sorry to say he is not fit to be a president. Obi should understand that no matter what he did or say at this point, those who are tired of old orders will gladly vote for him, and those that won't vote for him will never change their minds. What is the point of hiding behind popular trend by his supporters to judge an issue affecting those he plan to rule? Is this how he would be bringing up unrealistic theories on Nigerians when he finally become president? |
peepydelano:He won't be able to use force this time around. The reason Biafra and Yoruba nation agitators were being treated harshly was because of lack of support from elites or political groups. What can he do if the like of Obsanjo, Jonathan, wike, south west and south east caucus back the groups and take it up to United Nation. During colonial era, AG, NCNC, NPC, backed other agitating groups for Nigeria independent without shedding of bloods. Unless you win them to your side, you can't used force against these powerful elements who were bitterly felt cheated. |
There is belessing in being ignorant sometimes. I had once stucked in the same door for few minutes, and nothing like shortage of breath happened to me. Our thought and believes are very powerful, it can made or destroyed us. During those period I used to play video games on my system( winning 11 precisely), I normally plays higher levels against computer, maybe level 7 or 8 out of 10?( could not remember). That day I decided to try last and final level (10 or so), and that was how computer started beating me with wide margins. I got fed up and decided to reduce it to level 7/8 in order to enjoy the game. To My utmost surprise, I was actually playing lowest level 1 after I discovered that computer has set it to default . I could not believed this, so I set it back to level 10, and it returned to level 1. I did it several, and i got to know that anytime I set it to level 10, it return to level 1 because level 10 seems not working. I learnt a biggest lesson that day. We control the nature by our thoughts and believes. |
Nawa for some people o. Why can't you guys leave this man alone and focus on our candidates and election. What are we going to gain from criticising his method of campaign. Hahaaa, kilode, what is people problem sef, leave this man alone and vote for your choice. What is so difficult in that. |
afbstrategies:Tinubu is not a Saint, just like any other politician alive today ( old or young), but equating him with " notoriety or Satan" is a joke taking too far. He is not notorious or bully anyone, he is only playing his political game as it Being played by all politicians in Nigeria. The uses of Thugs or political machineries are fundamental aspect of how politics are being played in Nigeria and most Africa countries at large. Every politician have a set of thugs they use, you only hear them crying whenever their opponents thugs over powered theirs. I am telling you the reality of Nigeria politic, not all gibberish inexperienced kids are spewing on Nairaland. Go and study 1st to 4th Republic politicians/events, you will understand our political space is much more better now than before. Beside, being great is ability to influence, command, and achieve most unimaginable feat in your life time. Tell me who in the history of Nigeria politics wield such power and influence across the federation for that long like Tinubu. |
afbstrategies:I am not his fan and I am not voting him, but I admire his greatness alot. From my own personal assessment of history, he is the only politician ever liveth greater than Awolowo. Although Awo is a great politician and father of old western region but was too aggressive and lacks political strategies to build bridges across the federation. Unlike Tinubu, Awo lacks patience, and were indirectly intolerant of other ethnic groups. A typical Awo would've fought dirty with Osinbajo and jeopardise his chances during APC primary. He would've had serious issue with Buhari and his cabals that would've caused the breakdown of APC. A typical Awo would've ejected or fought with the like of Fayemi, Amosun, Aregbesola and Co when they were once perceived standing against his ambition. Tinubu is the kind of leader that use patience and tolerance to his advantage. Though he loves power, but not as selfish and autocratic like Awo, Zik, Obasanjo, MKO,Buhari, Atiku and many other old politicians. He is the last of his kind in this generation, and Nigeria will never had this kind of politician ever again. |
Useless constitution with useless set of state governors. When I was a kid, boreholes drilling, primary health Services, distribution of communities power cables and transformers, pregnant women and elderly programs, etc were always done by local governments authorities and sometimes politicians/political parties to campaign during elections. Today's governors will seat on billions of both state and local governments fund and start doing paperweight project meant for the later. Governors are the architect of Nigeria misfortunes. |
I've never seen in my life where a rulling party would be inflicted pains on masses few days to election. It may be true there are saboteurs in every sector concerned. I can't wait for this Buhari government to pack off. |
