By next week everybody will start feeling the full impact. Food, transport and cost of basic services will Tripple.

Though I don't support total removal of fuel subsidy at this stage but mere looking at the current situation, the negative effects won't be that significant

The reason is, alot trucks conveying goods and industrial machines are using diesel, which government has removed the subsidy since last year. Also, I believe the price of petrol too will come down soon, just like the way price of diesel falls from almost 1000/per litres to 630/per litres today.

It is quite unfortunate that Nigeria is full of wicked people, the same trucks owners and manufacturers who are using diesel will still take advantage of the situation and increase their price.

You just have to assume nothing is wrong with you, and most importantly, learn to reduce your stress by finding time to relax. You can't achieve your aim even with viagra, as long as you are still going through emotional or physical stress.

The truth is that Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tinubu canceling themselves out in your almighty Northwest is the reason Obi won this election.

Obi scored over 290k votes in Kaduna according to INEC result but LP insists they did more than that to give them 25% in Kaduna, a northwest state.

Obi won in Taraba, even according to votes on IREV, but his votes were allocated to Atiku, and maybe Tinubu. Taraba is the northeast.

Obi also did well, and most likely did above 25% in Adamawa but votes were rigged for Atiku. Adamawa is Atiku’s home state in the northeast too.

So also was Obi’s votes viciously manipulated in Bauchi, Gombe and Borno of northeast. In a form EC8A sighted online on Election Day, Obi scored about 184 votes in a single polling unit in Bauchi Local Government of Bauchi State. But when the result of the entire local government was computed, your INEC allocated just 140 votes to Obi.

Are those the things you are defending?

Remember, I’m still in the north o! I’ve even talked about southern states where even a PDP agent said on National Television that by the result in their possession, Obi scored about 930,000 votes. Those votes were viciously slashed and allocated to Tinubu. Or you think that’s a made up story?

Let’s not talk about the systematic rigging that went on in other Southwest states which resulted in over voting in some states of the region.

Do you witness what happened at tribunal today when LP Lawyers presented supposed eveidences from 20 LGA in Ekiti state. The state that has only 16 LGA?

In my opinion, I don't think they actually rigged this election, the only place I think Wike ignorantly manipulated result for APC is Rivers state. APC actually lost this election by wide margin, what gave them undeserving victory was disintegration of PDP.

Certainly it would, any candidate irrespective of the party belong will be greeted with same sentiment. Northerners love power, the highest they can allow is for southerner president to spend 2 terms in office.

Mark this post today, northerners would rather work for someone that will spend 4 more years than another fresh candidate. The same thing the like of Tinubu and Co did for Buhari in 2019 despite the fact that they knew he was a failure.

I’m surprised you still think Atiku will still have a chance at the PDP ticket at 81.

Meanwhile, I agree with you that Obi getting PDP ticket in 2027 will be suicidal as a lot of PDP stakeholders are harboring a lot of ill feelings towards him for contesting the 2023 elections against Atiku which they believe denied Atiku victory.

What I see happening however, is that some refined northerners in PDP who share Obi’s ideology might end up switching to Labour Party or working for Obi while in PDP having found out that Obi is a bigger force than they had reckoned him.

One way or the other, I just see LP working with some northern elements of PDP, and even Southern elements too, to have a go at the presidency again. Because as far as Obi remains in Labour Party, LP has more chance at the presidency than the PDP.

This is my practical analysis of realities on ground devoid of any sentiments informed by my support for Obi.

Events of 2027 presidential election would be determined by performances of this current administration. Obi enjoy the wave of popularity, particularly in South south, south west and North Central, among Christians communities because of abysmal performance of Buhari/APC and Muslim- Muslim ticket.

If this administration perform very well, and the principle of federal character is strictly adherence to, he may not get upto 3 millions vote in 2027. Besides, the fear of voting any southerner who might probably be fighting to spend another 8 years after 4 years of Tinubu will work against any other candidate aside the president. Alot of power brokers will prefer Tinubu to spend 8 years and had the power to return to North than voting another southerner.

You don't get the point, the removal or implementation has never fully started, it was a frivolous statement by new president that fuel subsidy is not part of 2023 budget.

You don't just increase your price when the policy has never started, that is the reason leaders are issuing warning to this unfortunate marketers and filling stations.

As a trader or business person, you buy goods or invest with what you have. If you don't have enough, you borrow from bank or other sources.

Let me break it down to a lay man understanding, if 10 units of your current stock is 5m, but due to the increment in price of new stock, your money is not enough to buy same 10 units, the right thing to do is to buy whatever units your money can complete or take a loan to meet up. Your inability to buy 10 units with same amount is not a lose but increment in business capital.

You don't dupe people by increasing the price of old stock to meet up with new stock, because that is not the real value of what you bought.

As a business man, I've been passing through the same process since around 2017. You will stock 100 pieces today, and the same amount spent on 100 pieces won't be enough to get 80 pieces. This dont cause a lost but increment in business capital.

Someone frivolously announce that subsidy is not included in 2023 budget yesterday, and today these wicked elements who has petrol of less than 200 per litres in their stores start selling it at exorbitant price.

People would rather ignore these people reckless attitude but keep blaming government. Why can't this marketers and filling stations wait till the implementation of this policy before taking their dubious actions. Even before now, there are no filling stations selling at normal price. Some195/litres and some sell as high as 220/litres, and you keep wondering if they get the same oil at different price.

Who is talking about cheap fuel from Dangote, I was only talking about landing cost, which will not be there anymore and subsequently reduce market selling price.

It would be cheaper compare to if it still imported. The cost of importation incured by importers of fuel would not be there.

For instance if fuel without subsidy from USA cost 2 dollars per litre plus shipping, the cost might be 1.7 dollars from Dangote without landing cost from USA. So marketers in turn would be able to lower their price because there would be more competitions now that everyone with money can book and buy directly from Dangote.

Don't mind the prophet of doom, if this new government are able to eradicate multiple exchange rate, expect dollar to fall significantly. Besides, most of our dollars or exchange goes to importation of fuel, once Dangote refinery start production, expect naira to gain significant value. There would still be governors and local governments administrators under the jurisdiction of Premier or minister of a region. Regional Premier or minister will be the highest authority in every region. In collaboration with regional assembly, he can make and remove any under performing governor or local administrator whose positions are mostly ceremonial and not electives. The only elected officials in every region would be "Premier/minister"and members of regional assembly through carefully selection from institutions within a region.

Regionalism is semi- independent entities, there would be a minister or Premier in charge of every region. Federal government would still be powerful but limited in scope. The central will maintain national armies and foreign policy, while regional governments pays royalty or taxes to FG to maintain her limited budget.
