HealthRe: 85% Doctors Planning To Leave Nigeria, Says NARD by yemmit90: 11:14am On Jan 22, 2023
clinician2x:
Government should not enact law that will stop them from oversea medical trip but use the funds to invest in our hospitals.

Govt should rather enact laws to stop people from going to where they will be appreciated.

A resident doctor here earns 250k a month but 6m a month in U.K.

You are a fool.
And you are a biggest fool. No one dispute the fact that our government need to do more as I clearly stated in the post you slowpoke quoted.

Go and compare the average training fees of a resident doctors in UK or US and that of Nigeria first before you compare salary. I will say it again, government spend alot on each doctor before they graduate from universities.

During my time in school, we were paying 4,500 as school fees, while medical students pays about 5,900. The difference was not upto 2000. They were giving the best hostels, labs and many other advantages on campus. Do you know how much it cost government to finance faculty of medicine in each university? Go and verify before you start spewing trash.

In as must as we want our government to do more for them, we should not always justify the trend because of that. If all doctors leave, it will only affect poor Nigerians and not political classes.

The British contraption is gone, none of these corrupt presidential candidates can fix it. Yoruba Nation is the only way forward now!!!
God bless yous sir. No current Nigeria politicians can fix Nigeria with her obsolete British arrangements, likewise Yoruba or Biafra nations would not solve anything. We are better off as Country, all we needed at this junction is true federalism or regionalism.

Federal government has no business taking about 50% share of its allocation, the same way wasteful state governments has no business taking another 35%. Nigeria is a large populated country, untill we give local governments that are very close to people significant share of allocation, there won't be any development in Nigeria.
HealthRe: 85% Doctors Planning To Leave Nigeria, Says NARD by yemmit90:
Although doctors are not well paid and their working condition cannot be compare with those in Europe and Ameica, I will suggest government should enact a law that will mandate any trained doctor within Nigeria educational system to practice for at least 10 years before he/she will be eligible to seek employment in another system or country. This is the best way to make them appreciate or useful to a system that subsidise their training for them. Government too should try as much as possible to increase doctors pays and improve their working condition.

Medicine science is an highly expensive department, if not that government subsidise it heavily, many of these doctors won't be able to pay the tuition fee, let alone other equipments needed for their practicals.

Virtually all graduates are underpaid in Nigeria, and alot of us are still coping one way or the other. Government is useless, but we should not allow our grievances to cause another grave problem in the future. If all competent doctors and nurses leaves, then what is the hope of a common man who need urgent medical attention. What is the usefulness of spending billions of tax payers money to train them and not useful to the same system?
PoliticsRe: How Obi Emergence Disrupted Tinubu's Game by yemmit90: 11:06am On Jan 21, 2023
Whoever wrote this know nothing about politics. Obi and Kwankwaso are dviding PDP votes, and you are here talking about chances of APC.

If not for the emergency of Obi and Kwankwaso, then another Fulani ticket by Atiku, PDP would definitely send the pathetic APC home. As it stand today, APC would rather worry about Kwankwaso up north than Obi because with their structures and incumbency power, they will secured more than 25% in 25 states.

Kwankwaso as VP to Obi or any other southerner would've made the difference.

The House Belong To My Late Mother I Cant take Them From There So That Another woman With Her Children Will Take Over
In that case, you don't have issue with her but your dad. Talk to him, and hear his side of the story.

I will be realistic with you, the only option aside taking your subbings out of that house is to make peace with that woman and your dad. She promise to take them as her children, so allow her to train them the way it seem best to her. They will learn from experience and become better women in the future. The only time you should listen to them is when you confirm she stop them from attending school or stop feeding them. I am not judging your sisters but there must be something they are doing that made your dad obeyed her and sent her out.
FamilyRe: Should I Ki*ll My Step Mother? by yemmit90:
Why would you have a thought of killing human being, you are a potential murderer.

Tell your sister to obey her command at home or simply take them out of that place. It is common among Yong children of late co-wife to disrespect their step mums. Find the root cause of this problem and settle the matter.

Lol!

You actually know nothing.

Shey you are seeing the reactions of his followers who are mostly Rivers people?

Wike is on his way to political oblivion if he endorses Tinubu like I know he would.

Nobody has ever defeated the people, and hundreds of Tinubu and Wike will not be the first.

Game on!
Lolz, these people knows politics more than a lay man like you. If you understand the power that Governors processed in their respective state, you won't be talking like this. Do you know how many thousands of people benefiting under them? These people won't allow their daily bread to just go like that, they will do everything to make their benefactor happy.

For instance, if you are among the 200,000 personal assistants he recently employed, would you block your source of income and vote another candidate? If he mandated each person to bring 5 votes, that is 1 million votes. These guys are very smart more than what you think, what if the agreement with the 200k people is to collect all their packages after delivering 10 votes each? Will you forfeited millions of naira package and work for another candidate with nothing? Governors has absolutely power to deliver at least 40% vote in their states.

He is not a wicked man, infact he is a nice man to the core. The fact that he always reminded her about her stands in his life and not promise her anything is enough to applaud him.

The babe is fish brain and unworthy woman to take as wife. Which woman in her right sense will agree to do friend with benefit for 7 years? Op should ignore her totally, she is a big liar, she must have met different men and had sex with them, just that she didn't not see a suitable one to settle down with, and started playing emotional game on him.

Stay there and be deceiving yourself. I was listen to Atiku campaign in Oyo state today on Radio, I could clearly heard the voice of students union leader in South west presenting endorsements certificate to Atiku.

Youths and students of Nigeria are unserious beings, they are the least any serious politician should bank on for block votes. They are only motivated by emotion and money during election, besides majority of them won't even come out that day.

How would he made a difference if he follow the same unworkable constitution.

We are just deceiving ourselves thinkng Nigeria will function well under this stupid arrangements. Let do away with this constitution first before we talk about a leader to steering the course.

I will never vote any politician again until Nigeria adopted true federalism or regionalism.

I already gave him the list of all the materials I need so coming around to say I need only 60% now would come off as suspicious. Thanks though.
Yes, it would looks so since you'd shown your displeasure about his quotation. It would've been easier if nothing of such happened.

But to be honest, If there is no prior agreement between both of you to supply at inflated price, then he is a wicked brother. Just buy it from him and allow the peace to rein. But from now on, make sure you do whatever in your capacity to be free from his influence.

I got a huge contract through my brother's company.

The contract is securely in my possession now and I've been fully paid. Initially, the plan was for my bro to supply me the materials

But the issue now is the quotation he's giving me is way higher than what I'm getting elsewhere.

I've asked him to beat down his price but he's adamant. I plan on sidelining him if he doesn't do the needful.

Guys any thoughts on this?
You should've adopted a good strategy the moment you see his bogus quotations and the cheaper ones from other source. He got you the contract, same way he is expecting you 100% to buy materials from him, don't jeopardise your relationship with his person because of today.

I will do this if in your shoes, the moment I see his quotations, I won't even say anything, I will just reduce what I need to buy, 60% from him and get the 40% from other source. He won't suspect anything, since I did not argue or protest his price.

Op, please follow this advise, this is only way you can correct such a woman. You don't need to abuse her or talk back at her, just withdraw your attention and act as if she does not exist. She will read the message, and when she finally open up for apology, let her know your action was a result of her disrespectful nature.

PoliticsRe: The Southwest In Reality Is Not As Developed As Southeast Or South South by yemmit90: 4:50pm On Jan 13, 2023
babasolution:
If truth be told, banter aside the south east and south south states ,even the northern states are more beautiful than the southwest states.

This is the reality, even Ibadan and abeokuta though developed is not as beautiful as most northern states.

The southwest have very rustic cities
I think the southwest should look into remodeling and beautification of its cities

Kaduna as been remodelled and upgraded, kano has been remodelled.

Less popular cities like Bauchi are far more beautiful than southwestern cities.

What is wrong with southern Nigeria, is it the governments or people?
It was result of early development. When those building were constructed, some Nigeria cities in other regions today were probably still living in core villages with no single sign of civilization. Old building at cities centre are sign of early development or civilization, it is just unfortunate that SW don't have visionary leaders who are bold enough to destroy those buildings and replace them with something better.

Meanwhile, i will agree with you that many south west cities are full of old buldings at city center but that doesn't mean they don't have many developed areas within the same cities. Besides, many SW state are very big in land mass, there are alot of beautiful places within the same cities/states that if concentrated in one place like most state are doing, they would've probably rated as best cities in Nigeria.

Let me use Ibadan as example, the city centre is nothing to write home about, a lot of old buildings and poor planning roads network, but if you drive around the city, you will think it not the same city.

This is what we are saying, whoever think LP or Obi will do anything different is just being delude by wave of the moment.

Just like Obi himself who defect from APGA to PDP and now LP, this is how these thieves will defect to any rulling party and continue their business as usual.

Until Nigeria is break into regions or adopt principles of true federalism, I will never waste my time voting for any useless thief.
PoliticsRe: How Lagos Will Vote by yemmit90: 5:39pm On Jan 12, 2023
I think Tinubu on the ballot is a total different ball game on percentage of vote APC will get in Lagos. APC could get 80% of total vote.

Tinubu is a crook politician who know how to use whatever in his reach to his favour. They will make sure they get numbers that would cover up at least 3 states from SE in Lagos. They will just prevent the people they perceive as Obi or Atiku supporters from voting using thugs and military backing. The rest would be giving bribe to vote as all politicians normally do.

Ogbeni, I have told you to stop taking weed.

Which one is Tinubu?

Ben Ayade is the worst governor of CRS and the masses can't wait to chase him out.

You guys are funny.

Just take a chill pill and wait for shocker news in the coming days. As popular as Rochas, Mohammed Okechukwu Buhari couldn't get 25% in 2015. Aside vote buying, governors have no say in Elections.

Even with the massive vote buying, bribery of officials, party stalwarts, Oyetola still lost.

Power really belongs to the people and you guys know that.

Moreover, you guys think you are the only people that can buy votes.

What if LP shocks you people by buying votes too? Coupled with the masses love and support? Abii una think say that can't happen?
Some of you will just seat at the comfort of your homes talking what you know nothing about. In as much as we all hate APC or Buhari administration (including myself), let not forget that other parties are hopelessly corrupt as well.

From family and friends who were in Osun state during governorship election, both PDP and APC share money, infact, PDP share more money than APC.

As far as Nigeria politics is concerned, it is self deceipt to say a particular party won because people genuinely voted for it. They share stupid money too especially at places they don't have advantage, 99% average Nigerians(especially women and young girls) will never reject 5k or 10k on election day and vote their conscience.

Until we go back to regionalism or adopt principle of true federalism, Nigeria will never move an inch irrespective of who become president.

Because he is not mentally mature to be president, at least for now.

A man who behave like students union president cannot be taking serious by serious minded fellows.

The only set of men that women loves, that can successfully deal with their egos and problems are those that don't value them.

I support the date must stand. They are pushing for June so they have enough old notes to rig elections.
You should rather worry about common man on the streets and not politicians. New naira notes are still almost non-existence, there is no way it will circulate before 31st of January.

Politicians has no problem in getting billions of cash, they have friends, associates, colleagues, sons, daughters, benefactors and countless others in CBN and commercial banks who can get them any amount they need.

You sound wise so I will reply you out of many mentions.

How many women would do the same for their husbands? Your money is our money but my money is my money. Things have changed my brother. Except say na Lord Chosen Church Abi Deeper Life you dey go.

My point is we're supposed to be one flesh but it's not like that these days
That was why I said virtuous women. As a man, the nature is expecting you to protect or care for your family, and what constitutes this family if not your wife and children. Women are not wired by nature to take care of able body men( even in animals kingdom), it only gave them natural will to be helpers to their men. The question of if they can give depends on your ability to provide, If they notice you are capable of doing that 100%, they might not bother themselves to pay the bills, but if otherwise, a good woman should assist her husband financially and in ither areas. These are the kind of women one should invest in.

Besides, a wise man knows the kind of woman to invest in and the ones not to. All single women are like black market, you only know their true colour after getting married to them. By living with a woman for 3 years, you should be able to know whether she is the type to invest in or not.

You are so gullible. You pray for a dementia patient to replicate what? How? Haven't you heard him speak?. Do you want God to come down to tell you that Tinubu cannot perform in his state right now. Honestly, I am beginning to believe that Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they get.
You are not God, only God sees tomorrow and what is all about. All of them are still black market, you can never tell what they will turn to when they get there. The only way an intelligent person will judge them for now is by their antecedents.

Besides, I was only talking about current political situation as it stands today. I don't have any candidate and I will never vote for any politician again until the country is return to true federalism.

What you people don't know is that, no one born in the womb of a woman can fix Nigeria under this current political arrangements and constitution, it is completely impossible. If Peter Obi win today, all these same guys in APC and PDP will quickly move to Labour party and continue their business as usual. The president will want second term in office, hence will give them chance to operate without much hindrance.

The problem of Nigeria is not only about leaders but constitution and political arrangements. We need a stable or working political system where anyone can become a president, we need a system where Law will enforce you to do the right things and not you trying to enforce law. We need a system where no one can bend the law in their favour. We need a system where law can't be seen, touch but operated.

No politician can do this including the much rated PO, the only people that can make this happen are we youths and other concern non-elites citizen through dialogue, protest, and aggressive campaign toward it. We should channel our efforts towards restructuring of the country rather than thinking one old politician from PDP will suddenly change our lives.
