The major problem could be from MTN because some people were claiming it going smoothly on their phones. All people I know using MTN are complaining about the same issue. |
You people should move on with your lives and leave politicians to fight their battles alone. You have been arguing endlessly for almost a year now on Nairaland. If some of you directed the same energy using here to fight to learn a skill, maybe your condition would've change for better now. |
kk2027:If you check the statement well, it means 36 states and Abuja, making 37. Abuja in this context is not separate entity but only being tag differently because of its federal capital territory status. We can't know better than Falana on this issue I think. |
People attach too much emotion to this election. It is secret ballot for God sake, therefore you will never know who and who people voted for. Some people would be following you praising your candidate but vote for another person at polling unit. Some has secretly collected bribe, some don't really want your candidate, some are just following your candidate to safe face, and vote for who they have in mind. |
stillme231:How were you sure of this when election is secret ballot? Some people are following Obidient trend just to avoid being bully by obi supporters. Besides, some have collected money or promise money through bank transfer or cash but won't tell you anything since you won't know who they vote for. The earlier you understand how cunning Nigerians are, the better for you. |
seunny4lif:Lolz, APC would've taking 60% of Kwankwaso votes, especially in Kano. |
Parachoko:As a good politician as Tinubu is, his first assignment as president would be to cut obi influences in Southern Nigeria. One of the best strategy to use is to include him in his government or do more for SE by proven them wrong. |
Vadese1:The vote is secrete ballot, the heart of men are desperately wicked. Alot of people might be speaking and follow the same path with you but do different thing when they are alone. They must have bribed alot of people without you knowing. His 200k personal assistants might be mandated to bring 10 votes each, tell me if each person from this 200k gave their family members 20k each, won't they vote for his/her choice? The funny part of it all is that these people won't tell you what is in their minds, they will keep following you guys shouting Obi Obi. |
seunmsg:Exactly, the moment I saw Reno post and that of Labour party chairman yesterday, I know APC has won. |
You guys are just stressing yourselves unnecessarily. Winner and losers has been confirmed from each party situational rooms, why arguing here unnecessarily. The moment you see LP chairman saying he will challenge the result in court should tell you they have seen their defeat. A twist by Reno should also give you an insight of PDP position in this election. Tinubu will win 25% in about 26 states and beat others slightly on majority vote. |
Blessed769:I don't think so, except all results being posted here are fake or they win big in the North. It is very clear people outrightly rejected APC in the South. |
nnoli90:Would you have supported a candidate if in his shoes? Only a senseless man of God will support a candidate in a highly diverse country like Nigeria. All of them are still black market as far as presidency is concerned. Non of them has governed in that capacity before, so how on earth will any sensible person be so sure of what a candidate will turn to when he eventually gain power. This was a mistake will all made with Buhari in 2015. All of us followed the trend blindly without looking into the man antecedents. You don't trust a man with power, especially black man. What if Adeboye endorce a candidate today, and he becomes another Buhari tomorrow, what legacy would he have left for his millions of followers and family? Let people follow their conscience, don't force any candidate on anybody. You must respect the fact that humans don't think or act the same way or manner. |
waynetee:Exactly my thought. In as much as we all hate APC and anything they represent, the chances that Tinubu will win this election is 75%. You can't have major stake in most populated states like Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Lagos, all South west states, Kwara, Kogi, Bornu, Niger, and many key new players in South South and lose election. This is a bitter truth. Atiku and Obi ticket would have made difference. |
Kennyfancy:Lolz, If you have ever been to polling unit before, you won't say this. These corrupt politicians has agents waiting at strategy corners that you will stylishly show your tumb print before they give you any money. They bribe Corp members and other electoral official at the poll to allow their men stand at the said corners. |
What i've learnt so far as father is that, little kids rarely listen or yield to simple instructions. Sometimes, you need to warn them with cane, you may not actually beat them but seeing cane in your hands make them behaves well. Kids are very stubborn, parents need to curb this silly attitude in them before their 7th birthday. |
Padipadi:They are not copying anything, there is no cashless economic policy anywhere in the world. Go to any developed countries, people withdraw cash anytime they need it, they carry cash when needed. If I don't have first hands information about this, I won't say it. Alot of Nigeria are not just exposed to what is happening around the world, reason they think this policy is a good think. While you think they are curbing vote buying to give chances to your candidates, remember the devastating effect this will cause on our economic and hardship people are going through. If this silly thing continue, expect a serious economic meltdown and workers lay off soon. |
Reinamaria:Your sense of reasoning is poor, you should not be talking in public on educating matter. Are you a kid not to know that failure of his party will affect his chances of being elected on the platform of the same party? Or you just pretending you don't know that his party failure give opposition parties big chances against him. |
Everyone knows this, except we are just pretending. Which government on earth will create unnecessary hardship for her masses few days to election it want to win? Why didn't Buhari do this few days to his own election ? We may not like Tinubu but let be honest with our judgement on the matter. |
Pauldollars:Lolz, what kind of childish talk is this? The only thing that can make a women do such a thing is if the husband has been calling here "a baren woman". The pregnant is probably not his, the silent was probably a ploy to make him not to remember the last time they had sex that resulted to it. |
famology:Not only between North and South but among six geopolitical zones. Regionalism is still the best and workable system for Nigeria. |
To be honest, savings is not attribute of a good leader. It is not good to save but to invest in both capital and human resources that will outlives a generation. Money you save today will definitely lose value tomorrow, even if it doesn't, the incoming government may misappropriated or embezzled it. Even as an individual, you can't make real progress in life if all you do is to save and not invest. |
Jones4190:I said this in one of my posts in another thread. Obi is not a smart politician at all. A smart person would've easily used opportunity of poorly implementation of new Naira redesigned policy to his advantage, especially when election is few days to go. You dont support your rival policies (good or bad),hoping they are fighting one another. Who does that. How on earth someone with his kind experience be thinking a whole Tinubu, who has thousands of key stake holders across all sectors in the country won't get enough cash to buy votes? What gave him hope that Tinubu cannot win without vote buying? What made him think there won't be anyone voting Tinubu without demanding kobo. What if it is political strategy by his opposition. These are the questions his advisers or himself should have asked before indirectly supported the policy. Atiku only did the same because, he is part of the team that want to use economic hardship at die miniute to demarket APC. He was the one that should've done what Tinubu did, imagine the praise, admiration and glory he would be receiving from people by now. Infact, he would've finally won the hearts of entire masses in the South and North Central he needed the most. |
guysbewise:Archaeologists has proven beyond doubt that this world has been in existence for billions of years. Second coming of Jesus is not but a mere reincarnation generalised by the apostles. Reincarnation is real as we had seen many instances around the world. |
07kjb:I don't expect anything reasonable from your like because your likes always think like animals. Where did you see me supporting vote buying in my writeup? I am above that nonsense, you can't buy my conscience with money. I was only pained that Obi cannot use this opportunity to easily defeat pathetic APC in entire South and North Central. In as must as I don't like APC, i fear Obi is a narrow minded person, whose his presidency could plumes the country into another mess. |
UncommonLogic:Not only Obi followers but Obi himself. His followers only interpret his body language. It baffle me how he cannot use this opportunity to lead the masses in a fight against this policy and APC government. Instead, like his fellow comrades, he subtly supported Emefuele and Buhari in the hope that it will prevent Tinubu from buying vote and favour him. How on earth a presidential candidate will support opposition policy( good or bad) few days to election he want to win? As a good politician, your focus should be on an entire structure of a party you want to contest against, not individual candidate. This power tissue in APC few days to election is enough for him to defeat them in entire South and North Central if he had use it to his advantage. Who told him the man he think they are doing don't have his millions of loyal supporters that will vote for him without demanding anything. Who told him all the youths are with him. To be honest, he has lost more than half of his supporters and undecided voters outside South East. |
scholes23:It is never your fault, I am 100% sure if those wicked traders and bankers selling it to you had giving you without charges, you would've probably charge your normal rate. People will queue for hours at ATM, pay exorbitant charges at POS, buy something with the cash, only for the same traders who suppose to ensure free flow of the process to turned it into business. The real problem started from these set of people and not POS guys. |
OYEDIPE:Kindly learn to ignore quoting these unfortunate kids who are still being feed by their parents. They have no idea of hardship and impending poverty this stupid policy has brought on the masses. There are 3 sets of animals in Nigeria now. 1. Those politicians using this to score political points. 2. Their ignorant supporters who think the policy will prevent a particular candidate to buy votes. 3. Dependants fools like the one you just quoted. |
