Yes, Bibi, you have a problem with the English Language, work on it and you'll get a girl of high taste. I presume you're still young, the earlier you realize your problem and work on it, the better for you. No lady of taste will want to date a guy who wouldn't be able to express himself in good English. Even though English is not our mother tongue, it's our lingua franca.

@ Xvenus, am talking about the 2nd interview after the original test. This was held in July in their office after the first one. We were about 20 and they said they'll get back to us. It was the last stage of the interview. We're yet to hear from them after then.

@ Jonahgeo, the test was written in Lagos in May I don't know about the Abuja test but I know that a few plp from Abuja were equally invited for the interiview in Lagos.

We're getting to agree on something, I like the "Partly" development. Fact still remains though that people can do a lot of things they wouldn't have done ordinarily for love. It was his own body too and that she's the one carrying the child does not mean she has to be totally responsible for not getting pregnant. It was probably a mutual agreement or as we now know this guy better he could have lied to her as well. He probably told her that it wouldn't matter if she got pregnant, for christ sake, he's definitely above 28 and already has a job. She might be ready to settle down and wouldn't see anything wrong with getting pregnant with him if she cares about him.

Do you realise a lot of guys are totally irresponsible when it comes to having protected sex? Don't do any such silly thing. Take your time to grow up and make a good choice. You're still very young emotionally and age wise, don't destroy yourself and your innocence. You may want to talk to your mother about it. If your girl friends are wild, stay away from them, they won't make the best confidants.

I'm sick and tired of girls claiming someone "made" them do something.  It was not his fault that she got pregnant; she was probably thinking it would push him to propose to her.  And after he did not propose marriage, she decided to abort.  It is all her doing; someone should tell her to shut up and accept her guilt like a woman.  She was not forced to get pregnant or abort it.

I'm really surprise at you on this, I've always respected your opinions but this one totally sucks. Remember she's not crying out and whining, it's the poster who's doing just that. It takes two to get pregnant and you can't push the fault totally on the lady. That she carries the child in her only makes her more vulnarable and not more guilty of the crime. She didn't decide to abort, the poster coerced her to and that's why he feels guilty about it. If she got pregnant to make him propose, why would she succumb to his pressure for an abortion? Fact is that the lady does has her faults but the poster is more faulty. From this post, I think it will be very silly for any lady to date a man like you because if she ever gets into trouble, you'll tell her to face the music herself even if you both got her into that situation. Seun, I think you should grow up and get more responsible.

After the final group interview, they're yet to call or send out letters. I've been keeping in touch with some of the people that were called for the final interview nobody has been called yet.

Yes, talk about it, it makes your partner understand you better. You don't have to go about insulting your ex or bad mouthing the person, just the basics, like y you broke up, things you loved and things you couldn't stand. This will help your new partner understand what you really love and what you can't stand.

It's definitely cheating

At 26 she's old enough to get married and you're definitely older. I Still don't understand your excuse though. She didn't understand, no woman will understand any reason why she has to kill her own child. She was simply coersed by you. She felt insecrue and scared and didn't take that decision objectively. Realisations has just dawned on her and she hates herself and you for what you made her do. Follow my advice and see how it works out, if it doesn't, don't blame her, it's not her fault. She probaly feels you don't love her enough to encourage her to keep your baby.

Something you must know again is that no doctor is ever "perfect" when it comes to abortion. Anythiing could have happened in the process even if he had been trained in the best place by the best.

This is indeed a difficult nut to crack. what you should do is to call the lady and talk some sense into her. Make her realise what she's doing is totally unacceptable and could bring pain, diseases and shame to both herself and her prospective husband. Try to reason with her and talk her out of it. If she persists, it simply means she might not stop even after the marriage; you'll be left no option but to tell your friend about it. You owe it to him as a friend to warn him of the timed bomb before it explodes right on his face.

She's definitely saddled with guilt and you remind her of her murdered unborn baby whom she had probably fallen in love with before it was killed. You didn't say weather you did this with or  without her consent. It will be nice to know how old she is too. Since you were already working, challengesor not, you sure would have kept the child since you really wanted to marry the lady. If you know you aren't ready to father a child, please keep away from fathering one and not killing babies or endangering the lives of women all in the name of abortion.

For now, give her some space, be understanding and be there for her when she needs you. She needs your reassurance more than ever before. You need to make her realise that you're both in this and try to phase the guilt away.

Her religious back ground is very important, if she was brought up as a good and practicing catholic like me, trust me, she's definitely feeling like the biggest murderer on earth right now. She'll still feel the same way, even if the pregnancy were only a week old.

Get prayerful too. Ask for forgiveness together and if she's a catholic, encourage her to go for confession and purge herself of all guilt. It will take a while and she may never get away totally from the trauma but she'll survive it with your assistance.

You don't have to run from him or avoid him. Tell him an emphatic NO and keep to your words. You don't have to be shy or timid neither do you have to be disrespectful, don't try to make excuses neither do you owe him an explanation; this will only make you appear weak, just be emphatic. If he persists, tell your boy friend about it. But make sure you have some proof in case he denies it.

Even though you've dated this lady for this long, it's always better to have broken relationship than a broken or non-existent marriage. Face up to it, call her up and tell her that this can't go on. Follow PTBNaija's advice.

Try not to keep a relationship this long though if you know it's not going to lead to marriage. Imagine if she's been faithful to you all this while, this will mean having to start allover again. Nobody can take this lightly. Be prepared to take anything you get, depending on her temperament, it could be from just walking away and nursing her hurt in the quiet of her room or a good and sound slap or flood of tears and pleading. Whatever you get, you deserve.
