Hahaha, that was how I dealt with one of my neighbours. He was fond of saying that what I bought was on the high side so I started lying to him concerning the price by reducing the price. One day I bought a rechargeable standing fine at 18000 and when he saw it and asked, but I I told him that I bought it 5000. The idiot still said "guy it cost oh". I merely ignored him not knowing that he was interested in buying such. The next day, he went to ogbete market and started wandering in the entire market looking for 5000 rechargeable standing fan. He would call me to direct him and I would gave him a vague direction. He later came back late in the evening and implored me to take his 5000 and help buy the stuff. I refused and redirected him, the next day, he took off again for the market and continue his wandering. He later demanded for the receipt in order to get the correct address but I merely told him that I left the shop without collecting any receipt.
When it happened to him the next time I bought generator, he stopped asking me such foolish question.

Good morning Fam, I made a thread last Friday/Saturday contemplating suicide because of the various and endless life challenges that has bedeviled me in recent times, I didn't plan to be sensational with the issue or create unusual attention ,as some people have made themselves to believe. I was just tired of Hoping and I am at the crossroad of life and I can barely help my plight. I have cried, wished for death in my sleep, tired of living an unproductive and stagnant life.

I am just a less privileged older brother to 2 younger siblings. I have been responsible for them in my own way since the demise of my Dad years ago and my mom this past August. I originally trained as a Fashion Designer, i am done with the apprenticeship but I have limited means to do a proper ceremony for the collection of certificate and other miscellaneous stuffs.

I work as a security guard for few months but I had to leave the place coz they downsized their labour and I also couldn't get going or survive the job because of peptic ulcer I have suffered for years which affects and cause burning sensation in my upper back and chest. So I quit the job.

At the moment life is unbearable for me. I am homeless ,dampened and clueless about life ,because I have already exhausted my strength and I am at God's mercy and his response and salvation has not been forthcoming. I couldn't get a place of my own or be able to help myself get on the track again.

I am Calling on good people of this forum to show empathy and goodwill and give me a little lifeline so I can have a single room of my own( a BQ preferably) . I am tired of trying and this year is gone with no noticeable achievement or improvement.

I am fighting through depression and my energy is failing me everyday. I honestly don't know how to push forward in life coz I am overwhelmed, helpless and hapless.

Please come to my rescue and help me in any way you can for my accommodation. I will be better,composed and focused and energized to push further and think better in becoming a better person and getting a better life.

I am genuinely in dire needs and I want people with goodwill, character and empathy to show compassion on me.

Lola made P- Square, even Paul cannot deny it, whatever issues arouse afterwards, it's all good, but the twins should be grateful to her.... Peter felt Paul disrespected his wife at some point, which no sane man would tolerate.

When Lola, a 'big girl' was packaging shows for them way back, Paul didn't realize she was a bad woman. She used her influence to help them, she was their lifeline; there was even an occasion, so much that Peter acknowledged he slept in a room with AC (Lola's room) that he didn't want to leave that period he fell ill after he got better, he was well fed , Lola was always there for him and the group...she even paid their transport fare to shows a couple of times when the twins didn't have money. Lola would call them to inquire why that were not present and she'd sort it out.

Lola used everything within her powers to ensure P-Square got shows, she was so selfless, maybe her crime is paying so much for a love she stumbled upon. Peter was in no way her class, she just fell in love with him. Now, that 'nobody' is somebody which she made; unfortunately, one is grateful and the other is not too happy.

Gratitude in life is very key but family ties are way stronger.

One of my young cousins is currently faced with this challenge, he met a US citizen whom he doesn't love but who is interested in getting married to him, I advised him to please stick with his girlfriend who truly loves him because I think when push comes to shove, true love would conquer it all, a good woman will support you to greatness and the US you cherish so much now would become meaningless to you by the time you 'arrive', I can understand if you are not in any serious relationship.

My advice never went down with my cousin, he is yet to make up his mind and sadly the 'poor' girl doesn't know his schemes, I called him again some months ago and insisted on my advice, he just said "ok" and ended the call. Whatever decision he takes is his business but I have said my own and this is the same advice I'm giving to you. I wish you all the best.

They are very much aware that women often get emotionally needy and are very desperate for caring and listening ear, and a lot of women trust and respect their pastors more than their husband.

Some time ago, we read about a man whose wife was having an affair with her pastor and according to him, his wife prepares special delicacies for the pastor after he must have left for work; and she prepares horrible meals for the husband.

Yes the main problem is that she is Yoruba. I wonder what would have happened if the late mum had let the love between Peter and Lola take a natural cause without interference. Maybe the brothers would not have inherited the bile and struggle. And perhaps the psquare brand would have remained and waxed stronger.

It is noteworthy that when the duo were using her resources to ascend to stardom, it didn’t matter that she was Yoruba.

The same trait can be observed generally amongst most of their people. They demand love when at the receiving end but sow hatred at the slightest opportunity of having an upper hand or say.

For example, look at how they gush at Davido’s queenly treatment of Chioma. Then picture that Davido was Igbo and Chioma Yoruba. The matter “for no end” with hatred and constant debasement of the Yoruba Lady.

A man can cheat on his woman and still love her but a woman cannot cheat on her man and still love him. I say this because while men do not have sex with emotions, women can't have sex without attaching emotions to it. This is the reason men simply need a place to have sex while women need a reason to have sex.
Most women who take their husbands to court for divorce are those that cheat on their men. A non cheating woman would most likely never take her husband to court for divorce, unless the man exceedingly abuses her physically and emotionally to the point of killing her.

Men don't equate sex with love. A man can have sex with another woman but still doesn't love her. That's why women who fell in love with married men find it difficult to find happiness in those relationships as they are just being used by those married men.
