I preferred behind the clouds back then, I used to follow up on that series- then Nosa died. Checkmate on the other hand was to me, too "official" then, as I was still too young to understand what those guys in coats were saying. Then there was also Surple blues at that time too, but like one guy wrote up there, I was more interested in watching that 'Joy girl' advert that popped up at intervals than the programs themselves.... Oh, and I hated that Venus De milo advert too.

As for me, I read some books related to what you prescribed to the OP, I could speak like Obama in my head or when I'm alone, but when two or three are gathered (lol)... Ok, more than three actually, when there's a small crowd and I'm asked to speak, my heartbeat takes entire control of my being. I'm unable to say a word, just like the OP. The only thing that got to save me was when I discovered alcohol. At some point I thought I had overcome that fear but I discovered whenever I tried speaking in public without licking that juice, I fumble. And I'm not a kid anymore- I'm married sef. So I don't think it has sooo much to do with age like some people think. We're just born differently. So you see? alcohol came through for me. Those books couldn't epp.

Ahaps, Nigerians are so sentimental. Whenever there's marriage or death, you hear different stories about people, of people pointing fingers up and down, they just want to find someone to blame. I was surprised with the kind of stories I heard about my family after my dad died. The terrible things they said about his own children (we) and his wife (our mom). If Nigerians gang up against you when these things happen, there's no explanation you'll give them about what you actually have no hand in that they'll ever believe you. Ironically, accidents are prone to happen on "express ways" than on very bad roads. People are crazy, when they see good roads, they over speed. If you check well, accidents hardly happen on very bad roads because drivers tend to move gently. It's crazy.
