Bruce Mayrock was an idealist who hated injustice. He made the ultimate price for Biafra and will always be remembered.

Abi. Its Yorubas and Hausas that have been your governors in the east and south for the past 56 years right?

In fact they are the only ones occupying your state houses of assembly and the National House of assembly.

They have always occupied all ministerial positions for the last 56 years.

In fact they have been the only ones in government and politics.

Others from the east have just traded their secondhand goods at Alaba, Tejuoso and Yaba right?

I understand that thinking might be a herculean task for most of you, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try, at least.
You guys have been at helm of affairs of the failed Nigerian state for 50 years. If there is anyone to be blamed, it is you guys. It was your job to police the the Governors and all public office holder and you guys failed spectacularly at it. To crown it all, you guys championed the return of a tried and tested faliure of a cow herder like Buhari. One day, all of you will truly enjoy Ooduwa-Arewanistan Republic together.

Silly rantings from mediocre minds.

What were you expecting the President to say? That he is willing to break his oath of office by supporting secession, or that he is willing to risk impeachment for breaking the law and acting unconstitutionally by granting a referendum?

I'd say give them their country, but newsflash, we all spoilt this country and now you want to run away? No way! we will repair this country together then you can leave if you like.
Who spoilt the country? You Yorubas and your Northern cohorts have been in power for 50 of Nigerias 56 years! So who spoilt the country?

Orji Uzo Kalu is a disgrace to all Igbos. Of all the parties he could have joined, APGA, LABOUR, KOWA, he chose the party of the Devil himself called APC.

When I remember that years ago, this man was so popular in Igboland that he was given the title of "Olile Anya Ndigbo" I just cant believe it.

Somebody better advice advice Orji Uzo Kalu and Okoroawusa not to come to Anambra with their APC nonsense or we will show them what we do to APC people! They can ask the short midget called El Rufai about his experience

At the bolded, Why then did they later join forces against Biafra?
Gowon confused them with state creation. They thought they were getting their own autonomous regions, they didnt know that state creation was the master plan of Gowon and his fellow Northerners to steal their resources. Till today, they are still begging for 13% derivation of their own property and Ojukwu is laughing in his grave.

Referendum is not in our constitution for God sake and Buhari is not a law maker. If south east serious about their agitation then their representative in the national assembly should push for constitution ammediment to include referendum. IPOB are not yet serious about self independent, they just want to criticize PMB.
Oh shut up. Which constitution made you a Nigerian? The constitution isnt not as important as the people.

Nigerians baffle me. In this day and age, someone will be telling another person that they must be together wether they like it or not? How does anyone expect a good outcome in such a situation? The Government should give a referendum let everyone decide where they belong. If Britain that created Nigeria can do it twice in the last two years, who is Nigeria to say otherwise?

Politics › Re: Why I Am Opposing Secret Trial For Nnamdi Kanu. by zendy: 5:41pm On Dec 02, 2016
There is no case against Kanu, the federal Government knows this. Thats why they are going to try to use secret trial where anybody can then come and say anything. A lot of people are monitoring this trial and it can be said to be a trial of the Nigerian judicial system its self. We shall see if the judge allows secret trial.

Olabestonic001:
You guys just quote nonsense and run around believing your own lies. Scotland, Wales and Ireland are appendages of England. England has always been the colonialist. And Scotland is even autonomous. What Igbo's should be doing is to work up till a time they can be autonomous and maybe later break away.
You guys need strategists and must also know that most great achievements are done in phases. Its gonna be only through war that a Biafra can ever be gotten with the foolish route you're always taking.
First, get people in NASS and as governors that are pro-Biafra. Next, push for Referendum as a front. Three, vote to have Autonomy like that community in Cameroon. And finally exit.
That is the gradual method. But, you guys are too emotional and short lived in resolution to do such.
Everything above is nonsense. This is the jet age and not the dark ages. It doesnt matter if England tried to colonise Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. What matters is that the sovereignty of all 4 constituents parts are recognised by each other. All four are autonomous with their own parliament and first ministers. It may also interest you to know that the Kingdoms of Scotland, England and Wales came together and signed the 1707 'Act Of Union' which created the united kingdom.

In Nigeria, which of the ethnic nationalities came together and agreed to be together? Did leaders or representatives of the Yorubas/Hausas/Igbos ever sit down to formally agree to be a nation? So how how did you come about Nigeria? We are Nigerians because a British Soldier of fortune called Frederick Lugard invaded west Africa and forced different ethnic groups together? Nigeria is an illegal colonial arrangement because nobody gave their consent to its creation. That is why the government should give a referendum to any ethnic group that agitates for its independence. Scotland agreed to be part of the UK in 1707, thats why they had to seek a political way out when they agitated for independence, in Nigeria, nobody agreed to anything so the same cannot apply to us.

You cannot be advicing agitators to seek elective office and go to the National Assembly for referendum while at the same time you accept the fraud that made you a Nigerian. It doesnt work like that.

Even if agitators won every political position in their zones and went to the National Assembly, how will they get 2 third vote needed? Is it Yorubas and Hausas that will vote to let them go?

Lets stop decieving our selves here. Nigeria is an illegal union operating a fraudulent constitution and it is time to return the ethnic groups as they were before Lugard came to rope them together against their will.

So were Awolowo and Zik Nigerians? They were born before the creation of Nigeria. What was on ziks and Awolowos birth certificate? Maybe Republic of "still waiting for Lord Lugard to come with a name"?
Politics › Re: Hausa Corper Flogs Igbo Student In Anambra To Coma For Writing 'Biafra Boy' by zendy: 11:21am On Dec 02, 2016
You mean an Hausa Corper flogged an Igbo boy like this in Nkpor over Biafra?

It seems that it is because Igbos are yet to use one these Northerners as an example that they still think they can mess up in Igbo land.

If it had been in the North that an Igbo corper had flogged an Hausa boy like this because he wrote 'Arewa' on his book, they would cut of his head and paraded it on the streets.

You are Nigerian because Lord Lugard said so. So what are you still doing here? Lugard has gone back to Britain, follow him there and continue with the name he gave you.
Politics › Re: Nigeria will not seperate, People suing for Biafra should drop the idea - Buhari by zendy:
The question of having another country out of Nigeria is going to be very difficult. From 1914, we have more than 200 cultures living with one another. God had endowed this country with natural resources and talented people. We should concentrate on these and be very productive,
Someone should tell Buhari that our colonial masters, Britain, consists of Scotland, Wales and England and they have been together for over 300 years. Yet, it didnt stop Scotland almost leaving in 2014 via a referendum. Even now, Scotland is planning another referendum as a result of BREXIT.

So Buhari should stop this stupid talk, we are not all in nursrey school.

Its either people see the point of being together in the colonial creation called Nigeria or they dont. If the unity of Britain that created Nigeria is not sacrosanct, then that of Nigeria isnt either.

You dont have any other home? Which home did your ancestors have when there was no Nigeria?

Now that Lugard has come to create Nigeria, suddenly you have no other home. You are waiting for a white man to come and give you your home and country.

Yes I will find visa and leave but it you must first tell me which embasssy Lugard went to apply when he was coming to west Africa to make you a Nigerian.

Before kanu will be released, he will get older and list his senses that he wont remember the name Biafra or IPOD.
What did you expect him to do? You want him to write 'Nnamdi Kanu' on a placard and carry it about? Why should he make it easy for the authorities to capture him?

The point is that he knew he was a wanted man but he still left the comfort of his London home and returned to fight for what he believes in. He is prepared to die for it. How many Nigeria will die for Nigeria? Nobody

Tripleoluwa:
I don't have anything against granting Biafra
independence, but current events in the world today
suggest that no nation wants to break or lose an inch of it's territory to the whims of secessionists. Example, India is seriously shooting pellets into the eyes of secessionists in the valley town of Kasmir, thereby blinding hundreds of protesters seeking for
independence, Israel won't recognise Palestine as a
sovereign state, the Senkaku Islands conflict between
China vs Taiwan vs Japan; Russia annexed Crimea from
Ukraine in 2014, the falklands Islands war between
England and Argentina, Spain and Catalona, even the
almighty US is holding down Puerto Rico from self-rule; and Puerto Rico's freedom fighter, Oscar Lopez Rivera, is still in the US federal prison for the past 35yrs. Its just recently that people are lobbying Obama to pardon him before he leaves office for Trump. I can go on and on ad infinitum..

So in conclusion, not allowing Biafra independence is not peculiar to Nigeria alone but a global practice.
And what would you say about the 2014 referendum that allowed Scotland to choose if they wish to leave the UK? What would you say about the 2014 Crimean Rederendum that allowed the Crimean Region to leave Ukrain? What would you say about Buhari supporting Saharawi Republic leaving Morocco? Or that America is about to begin talks to let Hawaii go?

Its amazing how a year ago IPOB youths were threating fire and brimstone if Kanu wasn't released before January this year,
now it has become a "to your tents o Israel" issue;

sad thing is many died over this, and now, those who led others to their deaths have chickened out under the pressure of earthly desires.

Youths and teenagers many of whom their brains are still developing, cannot process more than one thought or decision at a time, and with a lack of listening to elders (many of who saw the civil war) went out to promote a cause they knew they'd never win without following due process.

I mourn with the bereaved;

But I am more amazed at the lack of fire to champion a cause that was ready to plunge us in to civil war and unrest barely 12 months ago...

Let us let the law and government handle this, and if they don't do so to our tastes, well there's 2019....
So you dont see how pathetic what you are writting is? That a people are demanding their right to self determination and you dont get it because British colonialist came to West Africa to tell you that you are a Nigerian in 1914.

Yoy dont even question why your government should be shooting unarmed people and if this is civilised in 21st century.

Im sure you dont actually care if Nigeria works as country or not.

What worries you the most is why IPOB has not yet taken up arms like Boko Haram and NDA.

You care more about death and destruction than you care about what is right or wrong. Grow up, politics section is not for kids.
