IGBOSON1:
^^^Care to tell us how you came by this assertion?......You said you're Urhobo?

And why do you get so emotional and perturbed over Igbo wanting to leave Nigeria? You Urhobo can still maintain your 'one Nigeria' with the Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani and anyone else that wants to join you guys; while anyone that wants to leave with Ndigbo are free to leave with us!.....You have a problem with that!?
That's exactly what Biafra represents. Those that want to leave with Igbos should be granted that right while those who prefare to stay with Nigera are welcome. Nobody is forcing anyone into anything here. The only people forcing other people are those who believe we should all be Nigerians wether we like it or not

In the meantime, the Yorubas and their Hausa compatriots are carting away your Oil and Gas wealth in huge quantities everyday while selling you the White mans fabrication called 'Nigeria'. Clap for your self. Have any idea the huge untapped Oil reserves in those Igbo States you just mentioned? There is Oil springing from the ground less than 40 miles from my house in the village in Anambra. I pity these SS people who have "slave mentality".

Politics › Re: MASSOB Urges UN To Recognise State Of Biafra by zendy:
About 90% of all Igbos,if given a referendum, will vote to leave Nigeria and have Biafra and that is why there is no such thing as 'one Nigeria'. The 10 percent of Igbos who would vote against independence include those Igbos who are sceptical about the future or Biafra as well as the Igbos who where born or raised outside Igboland who have since been "yorubanised" or "Hausanised". There is a growing generation of Igbos born and raised in Lagos who have lost almost all links with their ancestral homeland, that type of Igbo can't understand Biafra. To the person who said that there are no Igbos in Delta state,as laughable as this is,I want you to know that the state capital of Asaba is an Igbo city. An Asaba man can kill anyone who dares question his Igbo identity. The parts of Delta-Igbo that deny being Igbo only do so for the same reason parts of Rivers-Igbo like Ikwere do the same, the politics of Oil. Everyone wants to be in the South-South oil region and I don't blame them. But no one can have Igbo names, speak the Igbo language as an ancestral language and then turn around to claim another identity. But it's a free world.

BIAFRA REPRESENTS THE RIGHT OF PEOPLE SUCH AS IGBOS TO DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES IF THEY WANT TO BE NIGERIAN OR NOT!!! WE DO NOT NEED LORD LUGARD TO COME FROM BRITAIN AND FORCE US TOGETHER LIKE ANIMALS IN A ZOO. 'NIGERIAN' IS AN IDENTITY THE WHITE MAN FOISTED ON US AND THAT FRAUD CANNOT CONTINUE FOREVER!!!!

To the people of SS,the stark choice remains that you people can either join the SE to agitate to leave Nigeria (we can always live side by side as the Republics of Biafra and the Niger-Delta if we do not agree) or stay in Nigeria and watch the Yoruba/Northern alliance drain your Oil and Gas wealth. Only a f00l stands by and watches as his wealth is been stolen on a daily basis and he is jumping up and clapping "one Nigeria". Biafra must be actualised because there is nothing like "One Nigeria".

Politics › Re: A Political Thread For "Old" Eastern Region (south East And South South) by zendy: 1:09pm On Apr 17, 2015
All I can add to this is the same I've always said, that the SS and SE should unite to seek political emancipation from the British concoction called Nigeria. Failure to do this may mean political servitude to the Yoruba/Northern alliance. A Nigerian is defined by who pledges allegiance to Nigeria and not who was "forced" into that unholy union by Lord Lugard 100 years ago. Let the SS/SE come together and secure their freedom. After that,we can further split up into the Republics of Biafra and Niger-Delta if we do not agree.

Politics › Re: 4 Reasons Why Buhari Might Not Deliver by zendy:
As I said in another thread, the reason why Buhari will fail is the same reason why every president of Nigeria from Ironsi to GEJ failed. The unitary system of Government Nigeria is running is bad for the country. It doesn't matter if you bring the pope to run Nigeria,he will also fail. The presidential system does not work in Nigeria. It is just a conduit pipe of wastage. Only a regional form of Government can work in Nigeria. The reason why the presidential system could work in America was because America is nation of immigrants with no power blocs. In Nigeria, there are at least 5 power blocs,Yorubas,Igbos,South-South,Hausa-Fulani and the middle belt. Each of these groups are in excess of 30 million people with very diverse interests and opinions. Each of these groups are "potential countries". Only a complete f00l would think it is possible to bring these different groups under one banner in central Government and expect anything meaningful to come out of it. We should do away with the presidential system,do away with the state Governors and have only local governments. It is sheer madnesses to give one man in Nigeria head of Government and head of the armed forces at the same time. We should return to when we had a ceremonial president who was commander of the armed forces and a prime minister who was head of Government. The power blocks should become regions with premiers as head. Every region should get the lion share of whatever accrues in that region. That is the only way Nigeria can move forward. The things that the likes of Awolowo,Okpara and the Sarduana did when they were premiers of regions and had no oil money are still there for all to see. unfortunately, the North are the ones dragging Nigeria back with the presidential system because of their fear of losing "oil money". The Norths "born to rule" mentality is what has driven away potential investors with financial muscle and technical know-how to mine the huge solid minerals in the north for their benefit. Buharis regime will fail like all others before him him because the system is already bad.

If....so you are doubting that. Well thank God for Buharis victory! Igbos now know their real enemy....the Ijaws! Never again will we vote for a conniving, clueless, silly bowler hat wearing Ijaw man. Under Buhari, we will push for compensation for the abandoned property ...at least we will get a fair hearing. Jonathan the hater of Igbos will never get our support ever again. We will also push for the cancellation of the second niger bridge toll gate that Jonathan initiated to humiliate the Igbos and put us in perpetual slavery for 25 years.
Are you sure you are Igbo? You are going to leave your Ijaw neighbour to support a northern cattle rearing illitrate who cannot defend his certificate? This same "cattle rearer" and his fellow barbarians have been killing Igbos since 1945 just because of power. The devil you know is better angel you do not know. I have no doubt that by the end of Buharis first term, many people will look back and think GEJ was a saint.

People like you "overrate" Buhari. You think that Buhari can rule Nigeria with an iron hand the way he did as a military dictator? He is bound by law just like anyone else. Buhari cannot jail or 'deal' with anyone. He cannot operate outside the law. So when people talk about how this old retired general is going to come in "marshal everyone to order", I laugh in French. Buhari was better off tending his cattle in Daura than coming back to a digital age that has left expired illitrates like him behind. If Buhari abuses his office or goes beyond what the law has given him or even denies any Nigerian such Uwazulike his constitutional guaranteed right to free speech and association, he is a finished man.

Rotimi47:
please don't advice Massob & the Niger delta militants to start blowing oil facilities as the North may misinterpret it as declaration of war & if it start, the North will easily defeat them: let me lay down the fact, if Nigeria must separate; the South West hold the main key to Nigeria separation which is possible if they are convinced they want to get out of Nigeria; this is well known by the North as they know it is only the Yoruba's that can give them a good fight for their money. The South East & the South South can only achieve separation from Nigeria if they stop hating the Yoruba's; their leaders should start dialogue with Yoruba's & make them see reason why everyone should go their separate ways if not theyvarevon the long thing. It may take time but it may work on the long run ( over 80% ).
You are kidding your self. If the SS/SE people unite and decide to opt out of Nigeria, that will be the end of Nigeria. This won't be like the civil war when Nigerian troops had overwhelming military support from foreign powers like Britain,Russia and the Arab league. The Nigerian army could not defeat Boko haram same way they could not defeat the Niger-Delta militants. Nigeria is not a nation,it should be divided and everyone go their own way.
Politics › Re: Northern Leaders Conspired To Sabotage Jonathan – Umeh by zendy: 8:28pm On Apr 15, 2015
Of course everyone knows that what Umeh is saying is true. The North have wanted power back since Obasunjos first term. Had Buhari lost, there would have been widespread violence in the north. There was a gang up against Jonathan. Unfortunately for the North, real power lies in economic power not political power and that's why no matter how long the North has power, they will always be economically subservient to the south. Today, no sane international investor will put his/her money anywhere in the north due to there perceived volatile nature. The North held power for over 30 years and did nothing with it while the regions that didn't have power moved economically. Oh well, if this election hasn't taught the south-South that the only real friends they have are the Igbo and that the SS/SE are better of leaving the unworkable Union called Nigeria, I don't know what will.
Romance › Re: Picture: Help, She Is Looking For A God Fearing Husband by zendy: 7:26am On Apr 15, 2015
I laugh when I hear girls say they are looking a "God fearing man". The moment I hear this, I know that there's something fundamentally wrong with the girl. It's either she is a religious freak,a hypocrite or just saying what she has has always heard other girls say to look good. How much a man fears God has little or nothing to do with having a successful marriage. Even the so called 'Pastors' are cheating on their wives on a daily basis. Many people that fear God are committing unspeakable atrocities. A good man is like Gold dust, there ain't too many of them around and they are the only ones who make good husbands regardless of religious inclination or lack of. So ladies, next time you say you're looking for a "God fearing guy", just remember that it is no ones job to come down from heaven to be your "marriage counsellor".

Politics › Re: Highlights Of The Approach Of Muhammad Buhari's Incoming Government by zendy:
Beautifully articulated policies are synonymous with politicians. We have all heard it before, it's nothing new. I already know that the Government of General Buhari will be a monumental failure and here's why. Like all his predecessors, Buhari will start of well, make some key policy changes and appointments that will give him some immediate popularity. Unfortunately for Buhari, the underlying problem why Nigeria is not moving foward will not 'style' of governance but Government its self. Nigeria is operating the wrong type of Government. If a house has a bad foundation, the house will be bad no matter the 'patchwork' done to it until the right foundation is put in place. This unitary type of Government with a strong centre and 36 state Governors who are accountable to nobody only encourages corruption, profligacy, abuse of office and wastage. The federations units have become little more than "fiefdoms" of whatever politician is in charge. I laugh when people say that Buhari will jail corrupt public office holders. He may jail a few but it won't do much to stem the tide of corruption. Even armed robbers are not deterred even though Nigeria has the death penalty so how will people stop stealing because of jail time? Buharis Government will only encourage people to become smarter crooks. Nigeria has to return to the 'regional' style of Government where the federating units where strong and developed at their own pace. We have to do away with the Governors and have district heads or just local Government which will make it much harder to steal. Immunity has to be removed. However,we all know that the North will never agree to regionalism because they need the resources of the South. They are also scared that if have regions,it will make it easier for a Nigeria to break up. The North are the problem of Nigeria and Buharis Government will be a disaster

For your info that scallywag is the most feasible chance of an Igbo president in Nigeria. The problem is mostly myopic Igbos always looking for partners to form their dream Biafra mtcheeeeeeew. You want to join the oil producers Abi? Better park well and think of how to recover your abandoned properties in Portharcourt and jettison that archaic idea. And FYI. SS/SE have blown their chances of ever ruling Nigeria again. Not even as vice president Cos SW/ N won't allow any mistakes again.
Story for the birds. There are proven oil reserves next to my village in Anambra. My mothers village in the same state has oil residue floating on their local river,it hasn't even been explored yet. All five Igbo States has oil in commercial quantity and 3 of them (Abia,Anambra and Imo) are already oil producing states. So if you think this is about the oil of SS,think again. As for the issue of Igbo president, the Igbos have outgrown that notion. We want our own country,Igbo president is nonsensical. Ask Yorubas if the Obasunjo presidency did anything special for them. Wether you like it or not, this "British invention" called Nigeria will disintegrate one day and this nonsense about who will rule or not rule will end with it.

DOKUBO SOFTLY SOFTLY

Mujahid, Many Muslim brothers have called me today, some our mutual friends trying to persuade me to admonish you on the dangerous and needless adventurism to take arms over an election in which the contestants have been unprecedentedly magnanimous. Jonathan, the president had thrown in the towel and did what was a political novelty in the history of this country, accepting defeat.
Buhari the winner was humble in victory by extending a hand of fellowship to the incumbent, assuring him there will be no witchhunting, persecution or vindictiveness.
Our friends think and to a large extent they are right, that I am one of the closest person to you. An affirmation of that truism is that my house is seen by your family as their second home.
Right now your wife Zainab is in my house having come to Ibadan on a business trip.
The last time we spoke was two weeks ago when you called me of your intention to go for Umrah. I know you go for Umrah regularly but I suspected that was a special one to pray for Jonathan's victory and I asked joculaly if I can accompany you and you retorted that I am a Buharist and only jonatharians are welcome.
You were perfectly correct because I have no apology for being a dye in the wool and unrepentant Buharist.
You would be wondering why I am going public since it was never in my character to criticise or even admonish you in public. But I want to be on record, especially because of many brothers begging me to talk to you not to commit harakiri. They would know I have done my own. The first person who woke me from my recuperating sleep from the tension of the election result counting and orubebetitys was our mutual friend Yusuf Ali (SAN).
They said the news is viral on the social media, electronic and print media that you intend to fulfill your earlier threat made with your colleagues in the Ijaw Nation struggle to go back to the creeks and take arms against the federal government. The question is when would I see you so that we can talk? What if you carry out your threat tomorrow? Allah may record it for me as being nonchalantly unpatriotic. What of if you die while trying to put your unfathomable Ijaw irredentism into high gear and people accuse me of nonchalance? In spite of your fabled wealth I will carry some psychological responsibility and some of your deeply Islamically religious children under the tutelage of Christian mothers will be in spiritual jeopardy or religious confusion so I don't pray you commit ijaw martyrdom. I pray you live long.
You would recall on a number of times you confessed to me that Jonathan's performance is pedestrian.
You would also recall during a visit to late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland Alh Arisekola Alao, you told the crew of Broadcasting corporation of oyo state (because), who asked you whether Jonathan's performance was satisfactory . You gave an ijaw aphorism' "Monkey no fine but in mama like am" which means Jonathan's performance may be lacklustre but since he is an Ijaw man you have no choice than to support him.
That is Ijaw chauvinistic patriotism at its zenith. Our mutual spiritual guru, Prof. D.O.S Noibi; one of the finest characters on this planet met you in Hajj when you were a member of the Amir-u-lhajj, under the hegemony of the sultan. The venerable old man told you that the Holy prophet Muhammad said: 'He is not one of us who promotes tribal partisanship, He is not one of us who fights for tribal partisanship and he is not one of us who dies in the cause if tribal partisanship'
I cannot say more.
Jonathan has congratulated Buhari. Even Fayose the effant terrible of Ekiti politics has said Buhari is a dogged fighter. The Loquacious bread and butter rabble rowser Femi Fani kayode has told Nigerians to cooperate with the new president.
Do you want to cry than the bereaved?
Even the villain of this election who was acting the script of patience jonathan to create a National chaos and anarchy out of the election Orubebe has apologised to Nigerians.
Mujahid, you have tried to convince Nigerians to vote for your contryman but they have rejected him . As a Muslim, don't you believe in destiny?
You Said the North AND South West ganged up to deny you victory but in 2011 the same South Eest ganged up with South East and South South to give you victory and you were highly elated when you called me asking me to congratulate you. Alhamdulila Allah was kind to you that insha Allah poverty is banished even from your generations yet unborn.
Please give peace a chance. I pray you would be in the positive side of history.
Pleas don't fight the government.
What you need to do is to form a vanguard that would make sure the stupendous allocations to your Governors in the South South don't develop wings to Dubai, but rather for development . There is enough funds to take care of your passion for Ijaw people to enjoy the benefits of Allah's benevolence beneath their soil but you know better than I do that the greedy among your leaders are selfishly and egocentrially syphonning it abroad
I intend to arrange a reconciliation meeting between you and many brothers even in South South who hate your guts for your provocative innuendos. The Asunoge of this world, the Yusuf Nwoha's of this world,
with the new president whom you have maligned most uncharitable. Our mutual friends like Sule Hama Adamu Adamu who are his boys would take care of that.
Let me know when you want to come to Ibadan or we meet in your white house mansion in cotonu where we can wholistically dissect these issues
Let us look forward to a new Nigeria under Buhari. May ALLAH make it easy for you to follow the path of Islamic rectitude and adapt the reconcilliatory spirit of Buhari.
There is enough for our needs in this country but not enough for our greed
God bless you Abubakar Mujahid Dokubo Asari and your wonderful family.

Ishaq kunle Sanni
I took the time to read this long epistle of yours to Dokubo. The problem that many people like you have is that you cannot fathom the reality that a country like Nigeria can only exist and move forward by the "given consent" of the people who populate it. You cannot "imprison" people and at the same time claim to have a nation. Any group of people within Nigeria has the God given right to decide if they want to be part of the "British invention" known as Nigeria. Only God has the right to tell the people of the SE/SS what country they should belong to, not an Hausa or Yoruba man.

The elections in Enugu was a walk-over. APGA didn't even field any aspirant because of the stranglehold PDP has over the state. It should be noted that PDP doesn't necessarily win in Enugu because it is popular. PDP wins in ENUGU because INEC in ENUGU is like their personal property.
