Which sort of experience is required here? Thuggery? Politics? Stealing? Managerial, Entrepreneural, and Philanthropist? Which of these does Omisore have?

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Which “hour of darkness” is this man talking about? The Fayose who did worse at elections some years back using the military in an illegal ops that’s clearly recorded and freely available on the internet. His strangely new-found confidence to talk on the side of democracy showcases his inability to recall that incident and gives him out as unstable and one given to lunar madness and the resultant spasm of lunacy. The Kabiyesi was on point to note that Fayose, unlike before, didn’t dress to the Palace like the hooligan he is.
Which court is this man talking about? The Judiciary he desecrated when he beat up a Judge of the High Court and tore up the Court record book? His strangely new-found confidence in the Court showcases his inability to recall that incident and gives him out as unstable and one given to lunar madness and the resultant spasm of lunacy
Does anyone remember seeing these folks protesting at the US Embassy the other time when Fayose, Obanikoro and Jonathan compromised the Nation’s Military by using same to rig elections. Surely the protesters were grown and out of their diapers then!

Ekiti360: Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday governorship poll, Kolapo Olusola has rejected the results of the poll as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which declared All Progressive Congress (APC) Kayode Fayemi as winner.
Olusola justified his claims with allegations of intimidation, oppression and inducement by security agents which he claimed aided and abetted APC’s alleged manipulation of the electoral process that all gave Fayemi the victory.
He declared his rejection of the poll’s result to Nigerians, Ekiti people and the international community, saying: ” You are all aware of the unfortunate and dangerous events of the past 24 hours, in which our governorship election was hijacked by political desperadoes leveraging on “Federal might” to pervert the electoral process, subvert the will of Ekiti people, and viciously steal the mandate willingly and freely given to me on a massive scale by our people. PDP and I won the election overwhelmingly, receiving more than 70% of lawful votes cast and winning in almost all of the State’s 16 local government areas. I therefore reject the falsified results being bandied by the Independent National Electoral Commission, which purportedly gave the election to the All Progressives Congress and its Candidate; Dr. John Kayode Fayemi,” he said.
Olusola described the alleged manipulation of the poll as:” most audacious electoral robbery of our recent history”, which: “shall not stand”.
He alleged further that APC rigged the poll by leveraging on: ” its well-advertised but patently obnoxious and anti-democratic “Federal might” to intimidate, harass, victimize, oppress, and brutalize PDP leaders, members, and the voting public all over Ekiti “, saying; “This brutal and barbaric process, which started well before the election, did not spare Governor Ayo Fayose and me; as the whole world had seen and had condemned. It is quite unfortunate that the harassment has continued even after the election. ”
Taking on the INEC, Olusola said:”On Saturday, July 14th, the security agencies and INEC upped the ante, threw all caution to the wind, went back on their promises to be impartial and to conduct credible elections; they sided with APC and Fayemi to the chagrin of our party, myself, and the good people of Ekiti State. Despite the alarm we had earlier raised, the security agencies not only supported but also supervised the indiscriminate arrest of our party leaders and agents, the harassment and brutalization of voters on a massive scale, especially in Ado-Ekiti, Ikere and the suburbs, giving cover, tacit as well as active support to thugs imported into Ekiti by APC to snatch ballot boxes, create confusion, cause mayhem, and drive away voters in PDP strongholds, giving cover to APC agents as they financially and openly induced voters and bought votes at polling stations; and driving away our polling agents from collation centres and illegal seizure of documents and materials in their possession, among many other infractions.”
“INEC on its own part reneged on its promise to have results counted, declared, and pasted on the wall of each polling station. There was nowhere INEC transmitted results from the polling centres as earlier promised. Ballot boxes were illegally moved to INEC offices while our agents were disallowed from following the process.
” INEC also allowed late voting by APC in hideouts when it was obvious the figures still would not add up after all the infractions mentioned above. Still, when all of these shenanigans still failed to give them the figures they needed, they stopped the announcement of results ward-by-ward, caused a deliberate power outage at the collation centre, with no alternative source of power provided for a long time, and then wrote results in favour of APC and its candidate.
“Without doubt, what has played out in Ekiti is the APC template for the 2019 General Election, where they have mapped out Rivers and Akwa Ibom as States they must capture at all costs, like they are now trying to do Ekiti. It is now left for the opposition and opposition figures, most especially presidential hopefuls in 2019, to stand up to be counted in the struggle to roll back President Muhammadu Buhari’s creeping fascism, or throw in the towel without a fight.
” This is not just a sad day for Ekiti but also for democracy in Nigeria. Nothing demonstrates this better than the gloom that has enveloped our dear State since they announced their convoluted result. Ekiti mourns! But I ask our people not to be despondent but to keep hope alive, quoting the inimitable Chief MKO Abiola. This is another battle we will fight and win.
“In doing this, however, I appeal to all Ekiti sons and daughters to eschew violence. They will try and provoke you but the good Lord will help you to keep calm. Taking a cue from our great leader and democrat par excellence, ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, I wish to reiterate that my ambition is not worth the blood of a single Ekiti son or daughter. We are not cultists and bloody hounds like them and shall therefore not allow them turn Ekiti into a killing field like they have done in the Middle Belt.
“It remains for me to thank Ekiti for standing by me and our great party. Our royal fathers and the Oloris, teachers, civil servants, Okada riders, Labour leaders, market women, artisans, and students – I appreciate your unflinching support. We thank every Nigerian desirous to see the growth and defence of our renascent democracy.
“We thank the international community for their efforts and trust they will not let our people down in this their most trying moment. Those bent on setting this country on fire for selfish reasons must be restrained and turned back by the international community, mindful of the recent experience of Rwanda, Kosovo, Liberia, Sierra-Leone, Cote D’Ivoire, to mention but a few,” he said
Will you be quiet! Isn’t it the same manner you and Fayose your principal came into power? Doesn’t make it right for Fayemi to follow suit though. It remains to be said however that what comes round goes round!! Be careful what you plant ‘cause you will have a harvest of it. Sow the wind and you’ll reap the whirlwind!!!
kahal29: The just-concluded Ekiti governorship election, won by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kayode Fayemi, may go down as one of the most tension-soaked in Nigeria’s history.
Mr Fayemi was President Muhammadu Buhari’s minister of solid minerals before he resigned to contest the election.
Aside from the pre-election fracas and the alleged molestation of the Ekiti governor, Ayodele Fayose, by the police, there were reported cases of violence during voting.
Vote-buying played a major role in the election. The two major parties, the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), were caught on camera giving out money to voters during voting.
At the end of the poll, Governor Fayose’s protégé, Olusola Eleka, who is the state deputy governor, lost with a narrow margin.
Mr Fayemi had 197,459 votes to secure a five per cent victory against Mr Eleka who had 178,121 votes.
The total valid votes cast in the election was 384,594. Mr Fayemi won 51 per cent of the total valid votes, while Mr Eleka won 46 per cent.
Some Nigerians are seeing Mr Fayemi’s victory as a pay-back against Mr Fayose, as well as the demystification of the governor who succeeded very well in creating for himself an image of a leader so connected with the street and the people.
Mr Fayose in 2014 defeated Mr Fayemi who was the governor of Ekiti as at that time. He won in all the 16 local government areas in the state. Displaying unrestrained confidence, which attracted huge public attention, Mr Fayose boasted in 2016 that he was merely waiting to humiliate Mr Fayemi and the APC in the 2018 election.
“They will meet me in Ekiti… Nobody can stop me because my name is Peter the rock. You hit me, you are in trouble, I hit you, you are in trouble,” the governor had said then.
He boasted that the APC would not win a single local government area in the 2018 election.
“I am fully ready,” he said. “I am a street boy. I am streetwise to the core. I don’t have another business outside politics, so I am ready.”)
A Facebook user, Dayo Williams, posted on the social media site that the 2018 Ekiti governorship election was all about “a contest of resources”, apparently referring the way the APC and the PDP struggled to outspend each other in vote-buying.
Another Facebook user, Mo Bright Jnr, said the APC outsmarted the PDP by paying N5, 000 to voters during the election, while the PDP, according to him, paid N3, 000 before the election and N4, 000 after the election.
“Peter the rock has met a quarry manager who was the minister of solid mineral resources, and guess what happened? The rock was crushed,” said one Facebook user, Adefolukemi Folusostephen.
“I have always said Fayose does not have the electoral value or so-called grassroots appeal often ascribe to him.
“The combined effect of folk hero propaganda and the myth of transcendental power on Ekiti plebeians built around him by his pauperised mendicants made him believe his own lies for too long. He has always been a bubble. He may be tall in stature but he is a midget in character.
“Stripped of the Federal Government backed rigging machines, Fayose is bare and rudderless,” said another Facebook user, Temitope Ajayi.
SadiqBabaSani: Apc Rigged Ekiti Same way , it happened in 2014. All these politicians are same. Thumbs up rkto Fayose fr never keeping quiet abt d evil institution called Buhari
I’ll be surprised if you are claiming to be ignorant of Fayose antics the other election when he compromised the military to rig elections. Strange to imagine you still found your voice after the release of the audio where the voices of Fayose, Obanikoro et al were heard planning and executing election rigging.
fabinfos: The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has directed its state executive committee members, leaders and stakeholders to march peacefully along the streets in protest to the police commands in all states of the federation.
The peaceful protest according to the party is to make clear its misgivings at what it labeled “the police brutality” in Ekiti State on Wednesday, which led to the Governor Ayo Fayose allegedly manhandled by the Police.
In a late statement issued the PDP National Organising Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd) yesterday, the party tasked all state chapters to deliver a protest letter to the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris through their respective Commissioners of Police.
“The National Working Committee (NWC) has directed that all state chairmen mobilize former NWC Members, Board of Trustees, BoT Members, former Governors, all State Exco Members, Exco members of the party at all levels and stakeholders with our teaming supporters, to embark on peaceful procession to the State Police Command in their respective States to protest the police brutality that happened today (yesterday) in Ekiti State.
“The protest march must begin by 10AM simultaneously across the Nation.
“All State Chapters are to deliver a protest letter to the Inspector General Of Police through the Commissioner of Police,” the statement reads.
If you were misquoted then tell us the correct version of your statement or bow your head in shame! Here is what now appears to be another Reuben Abati who is tarred for all time!! Some folks don’t just value their surnames!!

On the contrary No! Very well made phones enhance productivity and greatly reduce stress. Sampler - The stress that comes with a phone that has a poor response to touch when you are extremely busy and need to be productive on the go cannot be under estimated! If you have ever used a Tecno mobile phone and you get an opportunity to handle an iPhone it should be fairly apparent what’s at stake here.

Just so because a python has no fangs you say it is harmless!!!! It harms its prey by coiling itself around the prey in a manner that has the prey suffocated and bones broken and thereafter it swallows the prey. May you not have an encounter with one that needs a meal!!!!
Indeed there was a country! I can imagine that the guys who are busy trying to use some wooden block to hold the trailer tyres (as we see happen daily on our roads) got consumed in the ensuing inferno heralded by the explosion (s). FRSC is found daily on the roads plied by the unmotorable tankers!
This is not new in Nigeria. It used to be the same in Nigeria. Only the rail system was crippled in preference for influential trailer owners whose business made our roads unsafe and the investment in building them not long lasting
