ElsonMorali: Blasphemy.
Every death no matter how gruesome is accommodated in God's will.
Nothing that happens in this life is outside the will of God.
That man is a fake. You better change your church. He doesn't know what he's speaking about.
To suggest that some things can happen outside of God's will is to suggest that God is not Omniscient or Omnipotent. That is blasphemy. Indeed by their fruit you shall know them. Is this not the same so called Pastor speaking evil of The fathers of faith in Nigeria simply because they said Malachi 3:10 is of application across the ages? Watch his end. Unless he changes his ways it is bound to end South! I pray it doesn’t. |

Mandeyy: The failings of Nigeria cannot negatively affect the lot of Africa, cos Nigeria is still better than most African countries. Even Ghana you mentioned, is not completely better than Nigeria in all ramifications. I agree that our leaders are not getting it right, but that doesn't justify his use of Nigeria as an analogy. He got it wrong. If you say so. |

Mandeyy: Why not talk about his country and leave Nigeria alone? Is he the President of Nigeria? Is his country better? That's poke nosing into another man's business. His use of Nigeria to make analogy is completely wrong. GEJ was right that he mocked us. The point is that the world has become a global village given that the failings of Nigeria is bound to negatively affect the lot of Africa. By the way, Ghana, for now, is a lot better than Nigeria. Infrastructure. Education. Focused Leadership. Sense of Industry. Patriotism. So much more! |

Question 1 Prof, do you confirm that the nudes and semi-nudes are photographic impressions of your person?
- Prof, it is fairly obvious and undeniable that the nudes and semi-nudes are photographic impressions of your person.
Question 2 Prof, can you confirm that the said pictures were taken in your office at Unilag?
-Prof, it is fairly obvious and undeniable that the pictures were taken in your Unilag office as the backdrop depicts so especially given the knowledge those who have been to your office have of what it looks like.
Question 3 Prof, who took those pictures of you in your office? Were they selfies? If they were, which phone did you use and when did you take the shots? Did you use a tripod stand in the selfie snap? If you did why did you snap semi-nude and nudes of yourself in your office? How appropriate do you consider that to be?
Question 4 Prof, you claimed the phone you used got stolen. When? Where? In what circumstances? Did you depose to an affidavit stating the loss? Did you make a report at the police station and obtained a Police Report of the loss? Did you recover the phone line from the network?
Question 5 Prof, you were quoted in the news saying that the student having once asked you n400,000,00 was out to blackmail you. That suggests you know the student who put the said pictures on the internet? Did you make a report of the blackmail to the police or University authorities knowing it is an offence? How was the blackmail communicated to you. What did you do about it? Would you prefer the University report the blackmail to the police so they can access the discussions between you and the blackmailer on phone if any? What level of relationship did you have with the student to warrant such temerity on her part? Don’t you consider such relationship inappropriate as between lecturer and student?
Question 6 Prof, do you have any question or comments?
Thank you for your time. You will receive further correspondence from the University. |

As far back as 60 years ago we had structures at The Marina in Lagos that had multi-storey and underground parking though manual!! What you see is possible here as well in months should an investor see in that direction. The space for such investment is available at The Marina provided that power and security are guaranteed. Profit cannot be maximised running on power generators most, if not all the time. |

Benite: Eniola Akinkuotu, Abuja
The Joint Health Sector Union on Thursday called off its 43-day-old strike, directing its members to resume work on Friday.
The body also lambasted the Federal Government for failing to meet its demands.
The directive was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the National Executive Council meeting of JOHESU and Assembly of Healthcare Professional Associations in Abuja.
The communiqué read in part, “The various gains from the meetings with the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, were presented to the NEC of JOHESU.
“After exhaustive deliberations and discussions, the NEC in session approved that the six-week old strike be suspended this day Thursday, May 31, 2018 because of the sympathy the unions have for the suffering Nigerian masses and also to pave way for further negotiations to continue on Monday, June 4, 2018.”
The union maintained that the strike was not political but was based on the principle of fairness and justice.
It, however, had harsh words for the Federal Government for failing to honour its promise of increasing the salaries of health workers.
