Just some thought that has been running through my mind. What if after the elections the government comes up with some sick policy that they can't pay up as at when due ?

For me beyond the marriage certificate, a prenuptial agreement is paramount. It protects both parties and eliminates any greedy tendencies.

He should have spent more money hiring lawyers.

Well I got their "Free" 1GB of data. I decide to call customer care just in case they had sent the message in error. The guy checked my account and confirmed that it was true and I asked then why am i still being billed for data ? He told me to dial a code and still yet nothing. Well I just simply switched off data and changed back to my Swift Wireless.
Health / Re: Nigerians Don't Suffer Depression, Really? by adewaleafolabi(m): 8:58am On Sep 11, 2014
Depression is real. Unfortunately in some cases its sort of hidden and people can't seem to understand why you are depressed. They would go as far as saying you have good things going on for you. It takes someone who is willing to understand your pain.

Romance / Re: How Important Is Money In A Relationship? by adewaleafolabi(m): 8:17am On Aug 28, 2014
Lets stop kidding ourselves and face the realities of life. You can't build a family without a stable source of income to match your family's needs. Needs vary from person to person. However, whatever the level of need is, a common object is required to satisfy that need - MONEY.

The traditional family system puts the man at the helms of affairs of the household. Failure to discharge this duty usually brings in a myriad of problems.

For those saying money isn't important well I agree on only two scenarios.
1) The woman is financially buoyant enough to cater for the family and willing to deal with the excesses of her husband caused by his insecurity and general feeling of inadequacy, stemming from his inability to discharge his duties as the head of the home.
2) The woman understand fully well that the relationship is temporal and wouldn't lead to marriage.

We need to also understand clearly that money means different things to different people. For some 50k per month is money, for others it might just be what's used for bingo's monthly upkeep. But for most women, you need to provide one form of security or another

Is your admission for a master's program ? If yes then you can arrive in Estonia on a visiting visa , then apply for your Temporary Residence upon arrival. To apply for a visiting visa, the Belgian Consulate through VFS Ikeja handles such requests.

However, also Estonia has a representation in Egypt also.

Further contact your school for advice on how to proceed. Am sure you aren't their first Nigerian student.

Õnne!

Feminism or no Feminism
Equal Rights == Equal Opportunities + Equal Responsibilities

So don't come crying asking for maternity leave or benefit. Don't come complaining that I didn't give up my seat for you, don't come complaining that chivalry is dead. Cause its the era of feminism, where you treat every lady like a guy. No sentiments attached, no special privileges.

Properties / Re: The Hazard Of Buying A Bad Land Without Doing A Proper Search. Finally See Proof by adewaleafolabi(m): 8:30am On Dec 01, 2013
But seriously I don't get it. It beats my imagination and can't wrap my head around it. How can I pay 5M for a land and refuse to pay just 50k (0.01% of the initial amount) just to save myself the stress, headache and trauma that comes with buying fake properties?

Sincerely, If I was the man in question, since i intend to use this as a commercial property, I would simply have paid the 50k cost, depending on how nice am feeling increase the final rent (either by one fee or another) by 50k or 200k. Thereby ensuring I make no losses.

Even a step further would be after the report from omonilelawyer, nothing stops me from also still verifying their report. Its called due diligence. Money doesn't come that easy that I should waste it on fraudsters.

Be wise, exercise patience and above all set emotions aside and use your head.
