Honestly, it's so disappointing that after several years, Bayelsa state is still very much underdeveloped; this is in spite the oil resources. Just one major road in the state capital! The attitude and mindset of the people does help. An attitude of "so long as the gov or that LG chairman or that man in authority is our brother and is eating our money, we don't have any problems with that"

When you travel to the riverine parts of that state, you will want to weep. Some communities, the well water is like Fanta colour. They drink it and cook with it. God is wonderful. Just like someone mentioned, a state of less than 4m people with huge oil wealth, still in that condition, is really appalling. To think that that state was created same time as Akwa Ibom is funny; when you compare the level of development in Akwa Ibom to that of Bayelsa.

Successive leadership failure (since 1999 to date) and terrible mindset/attitude of the people has continue short-changed the progress of Bayelsa state.

Akwa ibom was created in 1986 and Bayelsa 1996. Bayelsa was created same time as Ekiti and Ebonyi.

Tho I've never been there, but the sexual escapades of their women is really a fantasy.

Before now, I thought that not all Nigerian girls are materialistic like we are made to believe, but a recent experience with my girlfriend made me rethink that particular conception.

Due to the cash crunch, I could no longer give even the changes I used to give her. A bestie of hers that wasn't in the picture suddenly appeared after he started doing fraud and picked some mega bucks. He started getting her gifts and promising her heaven and earth to get her.

She's currently about write her final exams, and she has a list of stuff that she needs for graduation, which I promised her that I would be able to get her just two out of her list. Recently she went out with two guys within four days, and they were all yahoo looking guys with Benz and the likes. When I tried cautioning her of the dangers of associating herself with such people and how I was uncomfortable with her going out with random guys, she angrily said that I couldn't sort her bills and was still stopping her from going out with people that could sort it out for her. She kept referencing how she was not gaining anything from being a good girl while other girls that weren't half as beautiful as she was cashing out from guys.

She came over for the weekend, and just yesterday, she asked if I could allow her to go for an Easter outing with a friend today; I told her it's insulting to go see a guy from my place, but she saw nothing wrong with it.

This morning she begged me to allow her to spend a day with a guy that has been sending her money, and he is willing to pay anything she wants to spend a day with him. She pleaded with me to understand because she had bills and didn't want to stress me.

I told her she was free to go and started dressing up to leave the house. I never felt so insulted in my life, I already ended the relationship in my mind for her to even have the effontry to make such a proposition.

She started complaining that I wanted to ruin her weekend by giving her attitude when I could have easily said no to her request. I just ignored her and left the house to see a friend.

I used to think that she was different but just realized that most girls aren't contended which pushes them to do all sort of rubbish cos of money. SMH

Wike is the main the reason why The PDP threw open their presidential race and didn't zone it to the South East, thereby truncating the chance of any southern politician flying the presidential flag of the PDP at the polls next year. The northerners in PDP knew all along that he was angling to be president. So they suggested that the thing be zoned to the South East. Wike refused. He was aware that it will get to that all along so he was indirectly attacking the South East for no justifiable reasons. He wanted The PDP to rather zone it to the whole South. That would have removed Atiku Abubakar from the race and would have made him the frontrunner since he has already used Rivers State Oil money to buy up most delegates and governors.

Aware of his intransigence, the South East politicians started kicking against the blanket zoning to the South. This was where the likes of Olisah Metuh and co started having issues with the PDP. Rather than allow the South East to get the ticket for the whole South, Wike voted for an open primaries that will involve the North. The North saw their chance and threw their whole weight behind Atiku. The rest is history. . Now, aware that his wayward ambition has torpedoed the chances of the South to produce a president from The PDP, Wike started his tantrums and media drama to make it look like he is fighting for the South, when it was the same Wike who made it look like the South begins and ends with him in the PDP. No wonder Buhari is now giving him National awards for all he has done for the North.

Stop crying. Why must the SEast get the presidency, afterall., there are only 2 PDP states in SEast. Why not SWest with 1PDP state. Why must it be given to you

Nigeria is a Secular state. No agency or institution of Govt should promote one religion over another.

For the new Naira Notes, The CBN has 2 choices.

A) Remove the Arabic inscriptions on all Nigerian currency. OR
B) Leave the Arabic and add Christian inscriptions on the new notes.

We either remove religion completely or balance the currency with Christian inscriptions. Simple as ABC. Nigerian Christians aren't inferior. Remove all Arabic or add Christian inscriptions too.
