ayenale1:If wishes were horses even beggars would ride . Only way power goes to the East in the next 20 years is if PHCN miraculously generates power ![]()
|
ityP:So when will 9ja be ready? You might as well waive the white flag and continue the slave like relationship because it sounds like the fear of the North is what's holding this country from becoming great......Either you fight or surrender, you cannot be medicore! |
ityP:Are people not feeling marginalized now? Apart from Northerners/Fulanis, which other part of the country can confidently trust this government? You want competent and inclusive government yet you base your selection on religion, since when did competency have anything to do with religion?....STOP TALKING WITH BOTH SIDES OF YOUR MOUTH PROFESSOR! |
ityP:That's what you derived from what I wrote? Nigerian education does it again ![]() |
ityP:Nobody gives a flip about Tinubu being president or not, what's more important is getting the right person there, you clowns are busy focusing on religion and abandoning competency yet turn around when it bites you in the ass. It's what gave us GEJ, it gave us Buhari and if the trend continues, it will surely give us another clown in office. What's the point of Osibanjo when he has no power or balls to effect positive changes for Christians especially those being terrorized? What's the point of Buhari when more Muslims have been killed under his watch than any other democratically elected president in Nigeria? You can continue using the excuse of religion to cover up failure or you can become enlightened and realize the system is not working, voting based on religion is the hallmark of inept societies, afterall our leaders are reflections of our mindset. Buhari's failure is your failure, your parents' failure and your community's failure. Sumus qui sumus(We are what we are)! |
Afriqan:Sounds like more excuses upon excuses, they understand the power of religion so we should just accept it and play along? You claim the uneducated ones/Mallams are indoctrinated to religion and politicians are capitalizing on it, so why do you want to keep repeating the same cycle? Should it not be the job of the educated/enlightened ones to open the eyes of the uneducated ones? Why accept defeat or status quo? I'm sure some of us educated simpletons are religious as well. The Nigerian way, the African way has been used so many times to justify cruel, wicked and plain disgusting ways of doing things, we can do better, we have to do better otherwise what's the point? You might as well say Nigeria is doomed and continue eating, sleeping like nothing matters! I'll go back to the original critique, if Christian presidents/vice presidents have had no positive impact on policies protecting Christians especially those in the North, why continue the charade? What did Goodluck or Osibanjo do for Christian lives and safety? You honestly sit here and tell me you believe it is better to ignore competent leaders and favor incompetent ones just because of religion? Forget about the uneducated ones, what do you BELIEVE? |
Afriqan:I'm glad you called it opinion, now read the definition of opinion and explain why you do not need to be criticized for your limited point of view! |
Forgodsgrace:What has Osibanjo done for those people? Afterall is he not a Christian? What did Goodluck Jonathan do for them? You're the insensitive one, in advanced societies competency usually outweighs sentiments, so you mean to those middle belters they would rather choose a clueless Christian president over an competent Islamic one? No wonder things keep falling apart......Stop clowning! |
Afriqan:You've successfully boxed yourself in, is Osibanjo a Muslim? Why hasn't he been able to put forth more Chirstian minded policies? Why are Chirstians still being killed? When will you people realize religion should be the last thing we use to ever decide who should lead! Must we do everything backwards in this country? So you mean if two Muslims/Christians represented the best chance for progress in the country, you would object? Na wa o! |
We all know the case would be thrown out but by the time it does, the man would have chopped serious beating at the station/cell, extorted and possibly suffer months before an actual court date. This is the Nigerian justice system, if you don't have money, don't know people in high places, no dey do pass yourself.....It's very risky! |
mysteriousD:Again, you type like an incoherent person, your write-up exposes the issue here, you lack exposure and inability to comprehend simple sentences! I believe your experience describes your immediate surroundings so I cannot fault you for that, you can't possibly phantom my point of view or of those employed outside of Nigeria so no need for us to keep dragging this out, the words are there for anyone to view and it is easy for the readers to decide who is dumb and myopic between you and I, I've already given you too much credibility by responding to your disparaging comment, enough of this tomfoolery......PEACE! |
At this point nothing should surprise anyone again about Nigeria.........
|
mysteriousD:Would you keep quiet! Bad HR practice? Una go just dey type rubbish all in the name of yarning, I have probably hired over 30 different team members over the past 4 years and current salary allows us to have a good starting point for negotiations especially for well qualified candidates. We can't offer someone currently making $80,000 a year lesser money for the same job or higher position, it would most certainly be a deal breaker and besides all pay information can be verified easily for those of us overseas, it is only primitive nations like Nigeria where things are hidden or hard to get. |
Friends and family, no need but some exceptions apply to potential new employer, contracts and so on, even your padi can ask you such a question if he is venturing into the same field and wants to verify that he would get paid what he deserves..... P.S. Hope you won't get upset when you woo a girl and her father asks you what you do for a living and how much you are paid ![]() |
Davash222:So I'm guessing you consider a potential employer foolish for asking what you currently make? Unnecessary pride and secrets have had many people rolling in mediocrity for generations! |
barojana:Forgive her for what exactly? The guy is insane and a dimwit, he has no business being in a relationship not to talk of marriage.....He's a classic example of why God chooses to leave some people in poverty.....SHAME! |
shiwex:In short, you're looking for a fantasy, an El-Doraldo...lol. 2023 won't give you an angel as president, it is all about being pragmatic. Do you want power to stay in the North or do you want a Southern candidate? This is the real choice, every other thing is just sentimental buhaha......You might not like Tinubu but if we want to win against the North, we are going to need someone with huge political weight. It's either we face reality or just give up and allow the North to continue the status quo because I guarantee any Northern candidate will already have an advantage in the North becuase of sheep mentality so why are we sulking in the South? |
InvertedHammer:It is easy to criticize but much harder to put forth an actual solution. Who is your preferred candidate and how do you plan to convince the people that actually vote, the marketwomen, the traders, the agberos that your candidate is the right choice? |
nsiba:He wrote the truth and many of you e-warriors don't realize it! We are not talking about who is good or morally right here, we are talking about who can realistically win the election against the Northern candidates. If yo uhave another candidate in the South that will be widely accepted let us know....lol. |
Shey na mouth dem dey use leave marriage? Where's the divorce certificate? Okay he took off because his life was in danger, where is the restraining order and police report? Guy just talk say you follow kpekus go journey which one be disguise? ![]() |
Daboomb:This one is alarmed meanwhile Buhari is shocked....las las una go dey alright....keep pretending as if this is a surprising case, slap yourself and repeat after me, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN THE |
As a Chelsea fan I can say confidently there's nothing wrong with CR7, Wenger just stated what we all know, the United team is not balanced! You cannot have a fridge as your CB and expect Varane to keep covering for him. You cannot keep playing players like Fred, Martial and Greenwood, this is not schoolyard football. We all know Ole is not ready for a big team like United, just like Lampard, he's going to win some games but he is going to keep making crucial tactical mistakes. A 36 year old cannot be the solution to all your problems, sometimes tactics and solid defending is all you need, most certainly not chopping 5 goals at the hands of Liverpool! |
Cousin9999:Well I work with these data for a living as an auditor in the U.S., so I would advice you to do proper research. |
Cousin9999:Ton of them are also arrested on a daily basis, when your time don reach your time don reach, e no matter if you're white, pink or purple! More Hispanics are deported in the USA than Africans so there was nothing racial about this, furthermore I can guarantee you that one of the Africans that he helped snitched on him. The feds are not magicians they work best when they have informants and hints. |
Everything for 9ja na cruise....We no longer speak directly but in parables and possibilties.....What the General wanted to say was that, Buhari defeated Boko Haram, they are no longer terrorists but bandits and herders......Forward progress.....WEREY ![]()
|
Thinktwicemybro:Who did you put forth as alternative? Na so so mouth una dey make online, if you have a preferred candidate say it and let people know, strategize on making him or her known locally and nationally, no one is going to vote for a nobody....kapeesh! |
If una like protest till thy kingdom come, only way things will ever change in 9ja is by violent revolution or a general change in the mindset of those that actually vote like the marketwomen, the agberos etc., most of us here on Nairaland will shout like sirens but when time to vote arrives, we hide inside and chop chicken. Are you guys not tired of the deception? What was the point of EndSARS? What is the point of enduring the hardship under Buhari? Not one single youth party has been organized, no grassroot movement, NOTHING! Una want change and you believe you won't sacrifice blood, sweat and tears? Jokers! |
Abujason:Mumu....Civilized country and Nigeria in the same sentence? |
Do you have experience writing about consumer electronics especially smartwatches? I have a client that would be interested in you writing for them fulltime. |
Angelfrost:OLE OLE OLE OLE.......OLE......OLE......Don't mind me I'm just being remembering one "Soldier" ![]()
