There are many economic indices used not just GDP, we have standard of living, unemployment rate, inflation rate and above all the international poverty line which was set at round $2 per day, majority of these indices still does not support your assertions so where you wan turn next?

No kid would want nothing to do with his or her father, even the worst fathers in the world who are drug dealers, criminals etc, you still find kids longing for their fathers, this is what this woman does not understand.
