Family › Re: Parents Who Always Fight Are Abusing Their Children Emotionally by abbey621(m): 4:46pm On Sep 09, 2020
We live in a soft generation of overpampered souls and weak psychological entities. If life/marriage was simple then it would be a fairy tale, people can fight, argue etc, there's nothing emotionally damaging about it as long as they reconcile and allow the good times to outweigh the bad times. A 2 year old kid will not remember NADA! Heck I barely remember anything before my 6th birthday.

Furthermore, if seeing parents fight scars children for life then such children would be crushed by the harsh realities of life! From failing a class to broken hearts, from stress on the job to having a family of their own. Life is not a bed of roses and rather than raising a physically and emotionally weak child through over sensitivity training, I would rather the child experience life as it is and be better prepared to tackle ANYTHING!

Whether we like it or not, Corona is here to stay, just like Malaria or thyphoid, it will be a normal part of society and the genius minds will come up with a cure. People will still die from it but it will no longer be sensational news, people will no longer wear masks. The natural world is upgrading its ecosystem and corona is just another change agent/catalyst!

the man will go to jail and of course the girl will have a better life... The man is a pain... Do you know what is called emotional and psychology pain? That is what the man is to the family
There's no guarantee in life, don't be surprised that the woman would be the one to tell the court she no do case and that it was not his fault. LEt's pray the woman finally gets the courage to do the right thing instead of putting her child in such a predicament!

now let me put this straight.. If that man is responsible, it is now that we will know... If he fails to pay that girls fees and upkeep then I know he wasn't suppose to be a father in the first place.. I don't know if you are a Christian.. I the Bible parents were told not to provoke their children to anger and the children should honour their parents.. That girl was provoked... Even if she is a child, you have no right to treat her anyhow
How can the man pay school fees for a child that had him locked up? Please let's be realistic here! If this man goes to jail, the child must stand by her actions and be prepared for adulthood. In advanced countries children over age 18 are adults, it's nothing new. All I'm saying here is that the best thing for the child is to ensure her mother does not go back to the man, if she goes back I can assure you lif will be hell for the child and the woman won't defend her.

Forget Bible here, let's face reality. In Africa, no child has ever had his or her parents arrested and gained something positive out of it, it always ends in more misery. In advanced country, even in advanced countries, the man is not responsible for the child pass the age of 18.

the wife is an adult and the useless man feels beating her like a toddler is the best solution? And for the daughter to speak out is wrong? So he is a money bag, meaning he can do and undo right? The daughter is now a bastard because she spoke out? Is the man no ashamed of himself if he is not no longer interested in the marriage court is one of the avenue to seek amicable solution.. What I see in the man is a big probably educated illiterate who is egoistic and money deluded idiot who only find joy in melting his frustration on his wife... Such a men are well known to cheat on their wives because they feel they have conquered that territory that would have hampered their immorality
Parents are supposed to protect their children, this does not only mean physically but emotionally and spiritually. the father has failed in this regard no doubt but the mother has failed as well by allowing the situation to deteriorate to this extent. Now when a child gets involved and is directly responsible for bringing her father to shame or possibly in jail then spiritually and emotionally this child is broken.

This is why I said, "This is a lesson for all women, never put your kids in a compromising position, never force them to air out the family's dirty laundry, do the right thing and leave an abusive relationship if you feel there's no amicable solution".

Often times in situations like this we focus only on the man and ignore all other factors, I know people don't want to blame the victim but every action has an equal and opposite reaction. I have never supported any woman fo staying in an abusive relationship because of the children, IT MAKES NO DAMN SENSE....

Now that the child was forced to act like the adult, what do we expect to happen? DO WE THINK THEY'LL GO BACK TO BEING A FAMILY? DID THE CHILD MENTION WHO PAYS HER SCHOOL FEES? IS THE MOM READY NOT TO GO BACK TO THE GUY? IS THE CHILD READY TO HUSTLE BY HERSLEF OR IS HER MOM READY TO FOOT THE BILLS? HOW WILL SUCH A CHILD BE TREATED BY EXTENDED FAMILY? IF THE DAD IS THROWN IN JAIL, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE CHILD?

I'm just showing the type of questions reasonable people ask in situations like this, we all know in 9ja after the initial gra gra by NGOs and advocates, the family is left to suffer. If the mom had acted with courage, the child would not need to act hence saving herself from a whole lot of confusing questions.
Family › Re: I Am Suspecting My Wife Is Cheating. Should I Confront Her? by abbey621(m): 1:16am On Sep 06, 2020
There's a difference between being a gentle guy and being a dumb guy! A woman that you are in a serious relationship with has no business communicating with her ex, if she believes she can't do without him then she can go to hell! Now, you eventually married such a woman and she's still communicating with the guy yet some tin heads are telling you to have a talk with her, E NO GO BETTER FOR SUCH WOMAN! My guy BE A MAN, your cowardice/gentleness is going to end up giving you hypertension in the long run.

If you truly love this woman then you want the truth as quickly as possible, KINDLY bug her phone, get cold hard evidence then present the evidence in front of her parents! When you do this, two things will happen, either she changes for the better and you reconcile or she enjoys her newfound freedom and says DEUCES! Either way, now you know where you stand and you can move on with your life! BE A MAN, TAME HER BEFORE SHE KILLS YOU!

So what's the intended result? You continue to blame your father but your mom is the enabler, was her feet glued to the house? Before anyone shouts she did it for the kids, kids are grown now, what next? What has the child actually achieved by doing this? Nothing guarantees that the woman won't return to the man after all is said and done, where does that now leave the child? In the father's eyes she is the equivalent of a bastard and knowing how most men reason, she is better off never knowing her father.

This is a lesson for all women, never put your kids in a compromising position, never force them to air out the family's dirty laundry, do the right thing and leave an abusive relationship if you feel there's no amicable solution. There's no reason to continuously endure a battered face and body, this is not a correctional slap but a beat down. DON'T BE SO USELESS THAT YOUR KIDS MUST FORCE YOU TO GLORY!

There's no need to argue with you anymore because it is a waste of time and energy, so let's be factual:

1. Are you located in the USA?
2. Are you able to vote in the US presidential election?

If both answers are YES then we can let the November election decide but if answers are NO then what's the use? grin grin grin

You see my problem with Africans, they always look down on themselves forgetting their roots of poverty. Little wonder the whites always remind them of their roots but alas they (whites) are given the racist card when they do. So for your mind your voting for him makes you achieved? It shows you are not even doing well there (if even true you are there). You see my problem with poor people? Okonjo iweala had been there for years but saw the citizenship as worthless. She held on to her "Nigerian citizenship", you wey be kpako dey see voting as achievement. Choi! SMH. So long you are African, YOU ARE WRETCHED. People from Lagos island would always walk with pride knowing fully well that their village is a city (even if they are not buoyant financially). Poople from villages with no civilism won't do same mind you (no matter their wealth). They'll always claim the nearest civilized village. That's your case oga. YOU ARE POOR. When you're a product of a failed education sytem, you tend to reason like a simpleton! When it comes to voting or exercising my civic duties, YES IT IS A SOURCE OF PRIDE! I called the guy wretched because he has no say in what happens politically in the USA, if you can't vote or participate in the economic, socio and political climate in the USA yet offer opinions that makes you look like an expert in our affairs then you are simply WRETCHED/UNFORTUNATE! Okay, you can continue singing your baseless rhetoric while not having a voice in how the election plays out or you can take the voice of an insider well versed in data and believe me when I say this is not even going to be close, Trump's own base are the ones turning against him. He has lost Banner, he has lost 50% of Foxnews and most of the U.S generals are against him as well, 20 prominent politicians have publicly said they would vote against him and he is failing miserably in swing states. Look at the last election, the states that gave him the election, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida are now firmly BLUE/DEMOCRAT......Without these states he cannot WIN, Trump is my guy, I voted for him in 2016 but only a sheep would refuse to admit that the nation's problems are too complex for his fragile mind.

Religion is different from law? grin Do you have a religion? If you belong to any of the Abrahamic religion, what was the 10commandments of God? Merely words not laws?

What's the essence of religion if it has no law? I don't know about your religion but Islam and it's law are inseparable.

To avoid unnecessary redundancy I wouldn't repeat anything of forgiveness again aside this

Forgiveness is for God and his prophet to give not our e.g a raped girl might decide to forgive her rapist and neglect charging him to court but in another scenario where a girl is raped to death, it is the responsibility of those in charge to charge the rapist to court and not forgive him.

The prophet might forgive if he is alive but in his absence it's ours to stand for is name.

They only question should be is death sentence not too much and not issue of forgiveness.

In response to your last paragraph, only three sin in Islam leads to killing of the doer and not all sin and the wisdom behind it to reduce the doer e.g adultery in Saudi is minimal and if you do it, it is not something you can be proud of in public as in our environment.

Why is china rate of corruption minimal in comparison to ours? They kill the money stealer.
Again you're missing the point and arguing baselessly! Why are you not dead? Can you boast that you've not committed a sin since you've been alive that warrants death by stoning/flogging etc? Once again you're confusing man made laws with religion/worship of God! I beg you to learn the difference, even in the Quran, the Almighty Allah says he pardons whom he wants and crucify as he pleases. His ways are not known to man, man's justice is not his justice. Any religion founded on fear and punishment is sure to perish, this is why even in Saudi things are starting to change, women can now drive, capital punishment for adultery, stealing etc has reduced greatly, if you don't see the difference between Muslims in Qatar/Saudi and those in Northern Nigeria then this dscussion is over!

When it change it becomes Islam no more and that group might no be Muslim but just a trying affilate.

Peace is not the absence of violence but enforcement of justice.

Forgiveness is for God to give and for man is justice to prevent increase in disobedience on earth.

Why do you kill a killer?
Why do you want a rapist to be killed?
Why do you want our politicians to be jailed?

Why not forgive them so as to be able to preach peace and forgiveness well?
Religion is different from law! There's a reason Islam is called religion of peace and I advise all justice seeking/blood sucking people to find out why! When Islam is looked at from the foundation/root level, you discover the message of love, you discover the message of peace. This is the difference between extremisim (Those who base the religion on the justic prinicple) and that of true believers(Those who interprete the religion from the standpoint of peace and unity).

If forgiveness is not part of Islam then we should all be dead because I assure you we have all sinned today!

Islam already has six sects. existing since for a very long time..
Not really, It is only really two...Sunni 85% and Shiia 15%. Within those you have different variations but nothing really separates their fundamental beliefs which is all about leadership. Sunnis belive in Sunnah/written instructions from the Holy Prophet while Shiia believe in Imams/Ayotollahs. They all still share strict religious believes in terms of blasphemy and religious duties. If Islam is truly to change, a new group must emerge that will preach more about peace and forgiveness than obedience or punishment!
