Yea this is my district and I ain't voting for this mofo! As a Nigerian and an voice in the community, he is less Nigerian than American. In fact Gwinnett country is so devoid of Nigerian influence I find myself having to journey to Dekalb or Fulton County to meet up with Nigerian groups discussing a better life for Nigerians home and abroad. He is the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora group and I'm ashamed to say that group is so USELESS, if you asked most Nigerians abroad about joining they'll just laugh at you.

Perhaps head back to your comment that caused my reply, here it is:

Repayment plan for a country loan doesn't take the charge of sovereignty of collateral either it focuses on the product payment,is a means to recoup investment and interest in international lending not total acquisition, product percentage payment is often used e.g crude etc.Well u kind of a layman when it comes to finance so I will forgive your ignorance .

So in essence a minister has the power to mortgage ANY of our national asset(s) of his choice in the name of loan considering the fact that such assets are what now and future generations will depend on. Even the National Assembly is claiming to be in the dark regarding the details of the loans. Why do people like to defend absurdities?! All of you shouting infrastructure, infrastructure I bet you a third of these of loans will end up in private pockets. Same story with Magu recovering billions and trillions but today even a child knows better.
Yes you gave them those rights. You elected the president and the president in turn appointed the minister and approved the loan. The discussion here is not about the loan being right for Nigeria, it is about whether Nigeria was sold to China. Let's stick to topic!

Unfortunately most Nigerian girls are senseless! Date a guy for 6 months, 3 of those six months you started building an emotional connection with another guy, is this not madness?

Any guy that comes after you while you have a boyfriend AND YOU ACCEPT will surely never trust you completely. There will always be that voice in the back of his head shouting, HOEEEEEEEE!

The major issue here is that this administration has borrowed so much already and still borrowing without any strong means of payment, oil is no longer booming like it used to, we're not that good in Agriculture and other our internal generated revenue is not even enough to take care of our budget.. In the event that all external assets are seized, don't you think it'll affect us? Well, let's just pray and hope we don't default.
In summary, any relationship that involves giving and taking, the giver always gave the upper hand. God bless Nigeria
Now you're talking! See this is a different but more logical argument than 9ja has been sold or the rubbish the reps were spewing. First question we must ask is this: Does the Nigerian government have the right to borrow money? Next question: Who or what is holding them accountable? Final question: Is this even a country anymore?

We have a bunch of rogue people leading a clueless populace and we expect what exactly? My brother, no hope for 9ja, I fail to see how it will get better when Congress is just as corupt as the the Executive branch and the Judiciary is a puppet of the Executive as well. It's a zoo my guy, make we contineu dancing like monkeys!

Lol. Wise King.
Literally, it doesn't mean that China will take over Nigeria as a country, but from the terms of the contract as explained by the minister himself suggests that when Nigeria defaults in payment of the loan China can actually go for any Nigeria asset of their choice. So which asset do you think China would go for? They'll definitely go for the most important and valuable that'll affect Nigeria negatively and thereby controlling Nigerian economy. Correct me if I'm wrong.
No they cannot just go for any asset, where do you people get this nonsense from? A $400 million debt does not mean China can just take over Lagos or our airports. Like I explained earlier, an international court of arbitrations will decide what will happen and before any internal assets are taken, all our external assets will be sized or sold first.

Y'all need to stop this scare tactics, we have been borrowing money from China since the Early 1990s and nothing dey happen, this age of social media and sensation news have got y'all tripping!

Can you in your massive wisdom tell us what you mean by " China will come for their money"? I guess you're wiser than the members of rep and the minister who read out the terms of the contract himself. Oga Solomon
Yes I am wiser than majority of the so called quacks in Congress and certainly more qualified than most of them! When you sign a loan you have to put down collaterals. In this case the Nigerian government used its assets as collateral. When China comes for its money, it will go through international court, it can't just come and take over Nigeria. THIS IS NOT WAR!

The court would more than likely seize Nigerian assets abroad and require us to pay the amount owed. This is how all loans work, big or small. Anything else you would like to know from your wise king? grin grin grin

You're an idiot! Have you picked up the signed contract for the loan and examined it yourself? Before you call someone ignorant learn to read. Let me break it down to you, it simply states that Nigeria cannot use the excuse of being a sovereign nation to get out of paying its debt, it simply means they could come after almost any assets in Nigeria to recover the debt in case of default or failure to pay.

In case you don't understand, we have had countries in the past use the excuse of war, bankruptcy, natural disasters and more to get out of paying their debts. It's nothing new, so before you call someone ignorant, do a little bit of research, IT WON'T KILL YOU!

So how is this different from when you sign a loan using your car or business as collateral? How does this translate to selling the country to China? I hope you've heard of IMF or World Bank before, did you bother to read the loan agreements 9ja signed, how is it different to this one from China? Una just like to make noise instead of using logic!
Politics › Re: Ononuju Asks Amaechi To Resign Over Deal Conceding Nigeria Sovereignty To China by abbey621(m): 3:39pm On Jul 31, 2020
So much stupidity in this country. One person cannot sell a country, you can however leverage your assets to secure loans. It is done with IMF loans, private loans such as the one with China is not unique. Sovereignity in the contract refers to the country(Nigeria) not able to use it's status as a sovereign nation to get out of paying its debts. It simply means if the government refuses to pay, China will come for their money!

But let not blame the keeper, when the defence is open, then a keeper will conceive goals.

Blame Chelsea defenders and not the keeper.

Wisdom should be applied.
We had the same defenders under Conte and never conceeded as much goals. Same defense under Mourinho with the exception of Cahill. Nothing changed! WestHam, Watford, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Norwich all have terrible defenses but guess what, their keepers have an higher save percentage than Kepa! A keeper is defined by two things, positioning and one on one, Kepa is a failure in both departments and if the game against Liverpool didn't convince you then I guess nothing will! So much rubbish in one post, I find your comments very comical grin grin grin. If only you calmed yourself, you would realize that I support hustling fully, only part that I fault you is thinking just moving away from parent/s' house is enough to be called an hustler.

I'm not even going to entertain the other nonsense you wrote because when I was hustling in the streets of Mushin all the way to Ago-Iwoye from 2002-2007, you were probably still wearing pants on the street playing with cans. you can't stay in your comfort zone and expect not to rush home for help or aid. I stay close to home and do that during those days not until I left far away and hustle like a lion while i scot with some friends

getting help from parents won't make a man most esp grow
Here's your quote:

I don't think this Op have experience indirect insult before? I'll rather stay with friends if I haven't make it than stay in my comfort zone. staying in your comfort zone will only give you reason to managed your Pains and challenges
Your post was about hustling and moving out of comfort zone but it is different than what most people on the thread mentioned were saying. Most of them still depended on others for their survival. Staying at the university or at a friend's house is not the same as hustling. A true hustler knows there is no going back, no mummy or daddy to cry back to.

I don't think this Op have experience indirect insult before? I'll rather stay with friends if I haven't make it than stay in my comfort zone. staying in your comfort zone will only give you reason to managed your Pains and challenges

pains and challenges are meant to tackle not to manage hence staying in your parents house would demoralized you of your goals&life objectives
I don't think you understood what the OP stated. Many people move out of their parent/s house but are not financially independent. They still come home for foodstuffs, money etc. Many people on that thread claimed they moved out at 16, 17, 18 and so on but in truth they were just at the university...lol. Over 60% of Nigerian youths are still leeching off of their parents or siblings, even the so called graduates. You can't claim to be hustling when you turn around and call mummy to send recharge cards or call daddy that you're broke.

There's a difference between worshipping God and practicing religion. Even more, there's a distinction between practicing religion and religious extremism. People don't bothe rto ask why the Muslims in the South of 9ja behave generally more peaceful than those in the North or why the Muslims in Qatar or Indonesia behave more peacefully than those in Pakistan or Iran. They all read the same Quran and share the same religious history but the difference is their political and religious leaders. These leaders are the real dangers, they twist the faith to satisfy their own agendas just like the Pope did in the 11th and 12th centuries.

Ultimately every human is responsible for his or herself, God is powerful enough to fight for himself, he does not need mere humans to act like Van Dame!

I keep telling people man and woman are not equals, they were not built the same way and most certainly will not react the same way. The issue of forgiveness is different from forgetting and most times it depends on who has the most to LOSE! Think about it:

1. Who is more financially dependent?
2. Who is more attractive?
3. Age?
4. Kids involved?
5. Location? If na USA, man must think twice before divorcing(child support, splitting of assets), if na 9ja it is very easy to let her go!
6. TRUST? Can you trust such a person again? Men cheat mostly for physical satisfaction, women cheat mostly for emotional satisfaction. A woman that is emotionally invested in another man, what would it take for her to poison her husband or send hired killers after him?

Many men endure in silence in the USA becuase well let's face it, the law favors the woman. Here's the hierachy:

1. White Women
2. White Men
3. Cats, Dogs, other pets
4. Foreigners not black or African
5. Black women not African
6.Black women from Africa
7. Black men not African
8. Any other living being not represented but not African
9. Black men from Africa

A country that states that no matter how much you've earned or built, the moment you marry a wife and divorce her, she gets to split it with you and she 9/10 times gets to keep the house. A system where your wife can call the cops on you and order you out of the house because you shouted at her. Of course some men would feel helpless and angry but make no mistake, violence or murder IS NOT THE WAY!

Know the type of spouse you have and look at things from all angle, for your anity and peace, make moves to relocate back to 9ja and maryy someone that will give you peace, it might take 3, 5, 7 or even 15 years but make it your life's mission to ESCAPE! Your life is worth more than any woman from hell!

Please how does such funds come from especially from a very corrupt country like Nigeria, hahaha imaginary..
During USA VS China trade war, USA approved billions of dollars funds for farmers who are underfunded, poor funds to keep their farming business alive, so many people were encouraged to start farming and were fully supported and funded by the government. That's a country that works not Nigeria, guy please forget it.
what Nigeria needs now is basic things like electricity, good roads, security, good government policies that would work, Nigerian youths would start engaging is serious entrepreneurs, farming would commence with value addition of processed products which in turn would change our economy.
How can one feel safe and farm when there's community dispute, herds men killing, no electricity to store and process.
How? Let Nigeria get the basic first.
Remember the SDGs.
But you feel safe enough to type on social media, to visit your favorite suya spot, to watch sports or subscribe to dstv? Every country has its problems, the USA that you mentioned, you would be surprised that less than 1% of its population actually farms and out of that percentage most farm workers are actually illegal immigrants. The USA produces almost nothing even common face mask must be imported.

The main point is simple, if you wake up everyday and only see problems then you'll never rise above it but if you change your mindset and actually start thinking about solutions then you've already defeated your limitations. This is not about Nigeria, it is about individual resolve and self determination. Nigeria can be jaga jaga but those wey go make am go make am and those wey go fail go fail!
