You're mixing apples with oranges, this is not about the rules of the company. When a top executive is accused of fraud or something ethically wrong, you don't leave it to internal investigations. I do this for a living so I know what I am saying. You can google case studies such as Enron, Keating 5 and Worldcom. All these companies faced scandals and it took external investigations to set things right. You are looking at things from protecting the accused, I'm looking at things from ethical framework, any company that is innocent of any wrongdoing should not be scared of external investigators, please get rid of this conspiracy theory mindset, I have already told you earlier, the USA does not need to be involved, it can be investigators from Russia or Japan, no one cares!

Maids are indentured servants, they get paid either through monetary compensation or their freedom after some years of service. Slaves on the other hand had no contract, their lives belonged to their owners. Black Slavery existed long before the Europeans came, I don't know which part of 9ja you come from but if you've seen some Yoruba ancestrial movies, you'll understand that those who are captured during war were sold into slavery, the captives were beaten, women raped and so on by their new owners, when the European came they saw some of these and realize they could use the manpower, they started trading commodities for manpower, these trades continued until they realized Africans are dumb as hell, they could just use their superior weapons and capture both royalties and commoners. This worked successfully and that is how the European/Atlantic slave trade began.

Hopelessness and the inability to bounce back from adversity are the main causes of suicide. Not mental illness.

Hopelessness leads to depression, depression leads to suicide. Majority of suicides are as a result of depression, depression is a mental disorder.
