my brother - all these you mention are valid scenarios - but let me share a personal secret with you. I have dated and dumped women before and women or girls have also dumped me - but do you know the ones that made me cry? even when I know deep down within me the absence of such a girl wont really mean anything to me? It is those who left me without a word, without having an argument. Initially I felt like, aww good riddance but weeks later - it makes you feel like, "Am I this unimportant or insignificant that I hurt someone's feeling enough to make her leave but never bothered to make a big deal out of it? I don't know if you feel me. Try it once, just walk away from a relationship that you are truly tired off, without saying a word and truly stick to the break up - even if that girl or lady later marries the love of her - she will keep texting you and wanting to talk to you years into her marriage, OR she will keep asking about you from proxies. Not all impacts you desire are created and sustained by violence no matter how hurt you are. SELF CONTROL is the key - leave to a quiet place and process the hurt and decide if you really want to move on, and if you do - make it as quiet and drama free as possible - never give away your power over your ex to your ex by being argumentative or violent, just walk away, 3 months later come here and and tell us your experience grin
That is onew ay to do it but if history has taught us one thing, it is that humans are highly volatile. We all have various levels of control over our emotions. Even if you are perfectly in control of yours, can you truly say without a shadow of doubt that you can predict how your partner will react in any given scenario? This fear of the unknown is exactly why there's a famous saying, "AM ONLY HUMAN"!

I am not Igbo - So, I do not understand anything they said BUT one thing I will advise anyone reading this thread, NEVER EVER MARRY A PARTNER WHO HAS THE PROPENSITY TO BE VIOLENT

whether a guy or a gal - during courtship these are the signs you must watch out for before you say, "I do"

1. They get unnecessarily argumentative
2. They never give up on an argument
3. They always want to win the argument
4. They do not forgive easily
5. Even when they claim to forgive it must be on their own terms (you must give up something)
6. They claim to forgive but quickly refer to something else you did relating to the matter at hand
7. And they always dare you to hit them first (if the partner is a woman)
8. And they always threaten to hit you (if the partner is a man)
9. And whenever there is a misunderstanding - they stand by the door preventing you from leaving.
10. They experience mood swings for no reason whatsoever - and they want you to accept it as normal.

If you experience any of these signs in your relationship - please please please, never marry that partner who exhibits such trait(s)

I know the se x may be sweet, the cuddling may be out of this world, that partner may have great looks and to the outside world

That partner may be the best ever for you - But if you want to live long, NEVER EVER MARRY SUCH!!!! BEAUTY, GOOD LOOKS and GREAT SEX is not worth your life and peace of mind!!! - God bless
In this thing called life, even when there's no sign, a monster can be made by the situation he or she finds his/herself in. I have known people that swears never to hit a woman, they act all holy and are the first to open door for a woman and put her above all others but guess what? Man lost his job, found out his woman was cheating, found out his first born was not his, mr. man turned into Jackie Chan overnight. I knew a woman that came from a good Christian home, was friendly and always supportive, she was also a marriage counselor, she also found out her husband was cheating on her with her bestfriend and that he has a child outside, woman knack bottle on husband's head, husband now R.I.P.......This life may God help us all!

[s]Al-Wahab who formed Wahabbism was a Crypto-Jew as well,

Even Islam was invented by Jews.

Jews were the earl mentors of Mohammed in Medina and also his inspiration to turn to monotheism after one of his business trips to Christian occupied Jerusalem.

It was only after the siege of Medina that Mohammed broke ties with the Jews after they tried negotiating with the Arab coalition to hand Mohammed over.

Jews even consider Islam more tolerable than Christianity which they condemn as Idolatry.

Islamic Jihad was bankrolled and made possible through Jewish money and treason.

The Jews bankrolled the Jihad to reclaim Jerusalem for themselves but when Saladin refused to hand the city to them but went on to build a mosque (Al-qasa) on the temple mount, the Jews will go to Rome, begging the Pope to help root out the Muslim invaders. This is how the crusades came about .[/s]

Jews have always aligned with Muslims.

They did so in Spain. Without Jewish treason and treachery the Muslims would have never taken Spain. Same with Constantinople.

Stop confusing tabloids with factual news. Let's even forget all that, if you've ever been around extremist Muslims, you would know there is no such thing as alliance. It's either you're Islamic or not. Jews, Christians are all seen in the smae vein, they're all alternate religions that should never be mentioned in the same light as Islam. So once again I ask you, what is Buhari? Is he trying to Islamize Nigeria or make it Zionist?

This is the origin of the problem.... It’s evil to hold on to a fellow human’s freedom.

They come to naija to marry the so called naive village girl not because they are looking for a wife. They are looking for a robot without a mind of their own they can tame, control and turn into a money making machine if possible.

They will often bring a naive village girl to America to work as a nurse while they suddenly become leeches.

Then they want to control the money she makes simply because they bore the expenses that brought her to God’s own country which isn’t much different from the modus operandi those Italian based madams use for naive edo girls (no apologies)

Most of the blame lies at the man’s doorstep. Why not develop yourself instead of looking someone you will treat like a lab rat sad
You really can't blame most men like that, if you knew what most men went through all in the name of coming to America, securing woek, getting a green card, qualifying for citizenship, bringing their spouse over here etc. Most men have spent millions not to talk of the cost of sweat, days of working in brutal conditions, days of crying in a corner of a factory begging God to have mercy on their soul and days where they can't come home due to no papers, some have watched parents die and unable to attend burial, some have lost children and so on, I will never be the one to judge another man unless I know specifically the details of his situation. We were all born innocent but the harsh realities of this life turned some into savages.

I like this except the account part is kind of grey. My wife and I are both professionals so we both bring home descent incomes. We have seperate checking accounts. We have separate savings account. Then we have a joint investment account and joint bills account. We both contribute equally into the joint investment and joint bills every month. I do not know how much she keeps in her personal checking and savings neither does she knows mine except we tell each other.

This is how we have been able to maintain sanity around our finances at home. Prior to this method when we had access to each other's account, we would often argue/fight about our spending which was seriously straining the marriage.
Your plan is also a great one, I guess because I make significantly more than my wife, I'm content with her having access to some accounts, I also have access to hers. Remember the key is to let her feel as if she's in charge, we never argue about food, money or other petty stuffs because anytime an argument comes up, I'll remind her that she's in charge and automatically I win the argument grin grin grin

Y'all ned to chill out with these scare tactics. I've been married to my wife for 5 years now in this America and she still cooks, serves me food and even water to wash hands. It's all about what you have to offer and how well trained your wife is. Any woman abroad or at home that feels such is beneath them can go to hell, yes in the USA women reign supreme but there are ways to be diplomatic yet be in charge. Give a woman access to bank accounts, let her control the shopping in the household, maintain your sexual prowness and continue to bring in good income and I emphatically tell you as a man you can get away with almost anything. Let her think she's driving the ship, for example, give her access to your bank accounts and credit cards but keep certain accounts private for rainy days. This is America , most people have 4 or more accounts. Get life insurance and investments list her and the children as beneficiaries, this kind thing will sweet her die. Encourage her, build her up, let her have a career. In short let her win the many numerous little battles while you win the war. As time goes on, you'll realize you've gotten her to do exactly what you wanted without force...This is how real men in America operate....BE PREPARED FOR THE WORSE WHILE HOPING FOR THE BEST, SEE IT AS A BUSINESS ARRANGEMENT, EVERYONE MUST DO HIS OR HER PART!

You do realize that this is the point of the NEW TESTAMENT? Yet spiritual maturity is preached all over the Christian world. Remove Paul from your mind and focus on the message, if any other person had said that would you come to the smae conclusion? Whether you like it or not, faith without growth is surely to lead to stagnation. For Christians, growth is a fundamental part of the religion. I can't be going to Bible/Seminary School and keep learning the same basic things over and over again, one must evolve!

Hebrew 8.7 mentions the new convenant that replaces the old one which was incomplete. Every true Christian believes this so what's the problem?

Context my friend, context! Read the verses before Hebrews 6.1, read Hebrews 5.
"Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil".

If you stayed in one place all your life, can you really grow? Christians are charged to grow their faith not stand still where it is comfortable, you either grow or you watch as your faith slowly erode and dies!

Hebrews 6:1
King James Version
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Darby Bible Translation
Wherefore, leaving the word of the beginning of the Christ, let us go on to what belongs to full growth, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and faith in God,

World English Bible
Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,

Young's Literal Translation
Wherefore, having left the word of the beginning of the Christ, unto the perfection we may advance, not again a foundation laying of reformation from dead works, and of faith on God,

HE CLAIMED WORD OF GOD IS OUTDATED HERE, HE BROUGHT HIS OWN WHICH THEY USE NOW. CAN WORD OF GOD BE OUTDATED?
Hebrews 8:7

New International Version
For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

New Living Translation
If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it.

English Standard Version
For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

New American Standard Bible
For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second.

New King James Version
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

King James Bible
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Christian Standard Bible
For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one.

Contemporary English Version
If the first agreement with God had been all right, there would not have been any need for another one.

Good News Translation
If there had been nothing wrong with the first covenant, there would have been no need for a second one.
Stop quoting things out of context, do your research and learn about spiritual maturity! Why should a devoted Christian be stuck preaching basic things about Christ over and over again, faith must be growing or it dies slowly. All Christians should mature in faith just like students in a clasroom, you build on what you learned in primary school to secondary school and perfect it at the university. Enlighten thyself!

I mean he literally just got out of jail amidst many threats. Do you remember him dragging the US into the issue to challenge Abba Kyari and Buhari?

That's the only guy I saw who successfully convened youths globally for his movement (I witnessed his youth Arise in Australia) what's to stop him from convening technocratic Nigerian youths all over the world to help in rebuilding the national scene if he becomes president?

He is not affiliated to any business as usual political party unlike the others.

He had every right to enjoy his life in the US, but he choose to stay in Nigeria to make his voice heard. To me his sense of patriotism is at an all time high, even in the midst of all the sanctions he has been slammed with.
I remember him quoting:"if I die for Nigeria, I die..." that was 2019 and Sowore was in prison then.

Elections finished, but he was challenging the government head on about crude policies, even when all other oppositions cooled down.

He may not be the best Nigeria has to offer, but he is the only one on that list with balls.
Nobody on that list has half that guys balls.

Like seriously and you know it ... I mean he is not perfect but he is the best of the imperfect on that list.
Challenging to do what exactly? Chaos is easy, what comes after is the difficult part! We are talking about leadership and governance not mob mentality. The problem with Sowore and all the rest of the names up there is simple, macro level thinking, what has Sowore done for his community, his town? What has nay of them done especially the really wealthy ones? The presidency is the highest elected position in the country, this is not the only position of power in the country, people can change the country therough innovation, through ammenities, through empowerment. The misguided traders, the frustrated agberos, the oblivious market women who sell their votes for a bag of rice, all these people can be educated, can be empowered; they all can witness the good by Sowore and the others, this is the best way to truly demonstarte leadership! Well, apparently the makers of disinfectant, learned scientists, and many people in the medical community also automatically reasoned that disinfectant means lysol/bleach. We generally don't use the word disinfectant to imply UV... even in context (and tend to say UV sterilization), but I suppose all of us in these fields are gullible as humans to forget context. I'll leave it at that.
You said it yourself those in scientific field and people of medical community, Trump is neither, he's an entertainer. The word disinfectant does not automatically mean lysol/bleach especially when the guy was just talking about light/heat to eliminate the virus. I am an I.T guy and the word cleanse or disinfect to us means to use a software/method to wipe out a virus/malware.

Try Google search for the meaning if you don't believe me, who knows I might learn something new today grin grin

P.S. I'm not saying that you're wrong but try to understand context, I think you give Trump too much credit, man might not even know what the word disinfectant means grin grin grin grin

His quotes:
"Supposing we hit the body with tremendous ultraviolet or very powerful light"
"I've seen the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute... do something like that, like injection inside..."

Upon hearing the phrase "disinfectant"... most people will reach for bleach and dettol.
Did you know that a ton of bacteria and viruses die in the sun or upon exposure to disinfectants on surfaces? We might as well stop making medicines, because, you know, "we can just inject people with dettol since it acts the same way"

If a leader is helpless, it's far better to say: "the medical community is working hard on a solution", and leave it at that, rather than give the impression he has any clue what he's talking about to save face - while potentially exposing people to hazards.
I'm not doubting the man talks like a 6 year old and he himself said he is no doctor but Trump will be Trump, everyone knows this by now. Once again common sense is not common. If anyone told you to drink bleach and you did, doctor or president then you're freaking stupid!

Furthermore looking at the two quotes, why would you automatically reason that disinfectant means lysol/bleach instead of light? Are we so gullible as humans to forget context? Because to me disinfectant means to get rid of infection or to cure and that could mean medicine, light, bleach etc.

Except the man never said disinfectant like spray or bleach, he was talking about using light to disinfect the body, this treatment while unproven or untested is certainly a possibility that should be looked at for crucial cases especially since warmer regions are showing more resistance to the virus than colder ones. The way the opening post was written suggested he was talking about your household disinfectants like Dettol or something.

exactly... the same happens in the US every year, and unless they change the law, these pedos will keep marrying kids.
True but calling them pedos is incorrect, they are just following the law, which states a girl of 16 years is an adult when it comes to marriage/sexual relations. I mean if Nigeria decides tomorrow to legalize gay marriage I'm sure we'll start seeing more gay people getting married in public and throqwing fancy weddings. It all boils down to our law but guess what, who makes these laws? No be dem huh huh huh

You can imagine, a 17 years old wife, for Christ sake what is wrong with the northerners with child marriage?
Northerners are not the problem, the Nigerian Constitution & government are to blame. Age of consent in Nigeria is below 17 and unless the more educated South take a stand I'm afraid the Northerners(male) are well within their rights to marry such young girls.
