Students who attend NOUN spend more money than those from OAU and UNILAG combined, so I don't understand where this poverty talk came from. Making the admission process more rigorous does not mean mixing the wheat and chaff together. Saying this because I've met many NOUN graduates who are beyond sound.

There is Bachelor of science in law (BSL) or BSc in law. It is a course intended for those who actually do not want to settle as a lawyer but gain some legal education. They do not go to law school.

However, the recruitment process is poor. There is no gain in awarding a Law degree to someone who may never be able to defend a client before a judge. What's the point, really?

Too many unworthy degree holders today have watered down the credibility and potential of many NOUN graduates.

The only reason is the fact Tinubu reversed his thoughtless floating policy. Unfortunately for him, Naira is still not back to N700 (pre-floating rate) and prices of goods have become unbearable. Even if Naira drops to N700, it is very unlikely that manufacturers will embrace their old prices (for example, N150 for a tin of peak milk, N200 for a bottle of Malta Guinness, or N500 for a loaf of bread).

Nigerians will have to continue to pay for the carelessness and sins of one man, but hey, lets "celebrate" BAT.
