Let's not look for scape goats where there are none.

Leadership on the pitch is a problem Yes, but it's only max 5 percent of the problem.

70 percent of the problem is having too many tired legs in the team.

And yes we saw how Ramos' leadership skills led Real Madrid past Ajax and Man City.
Nah,am not looking for scape goats. Am just saying that is one thing Pique should be providing and if he's not providing it,he should simply follow the exit.

IDC about any ariel duels or the bs stats players like Van Dijk put up and people think he's the best thing after Maldini. Any CB can put up those numbers.

If he can't keep the defense head in crucial games, then let another take his spot. We can't look past this things if we're taking this giant steps

Just to correct you, barca has no leader on the pitch.
Messi isn't a leader(that guy annoys me even tho I love him) , neither is Pique nor any other player.
Messi is just dull as a captain. That's another reason the team plays without anyone to bring them to their senses.
Messi has never been the vocal type of player and leadership has never been his forte. But his job and talents comes with such responsibilities so i won't really blame him on that

Pique on the other hand doesn't have those problems and doesn't have the talents to be excused for. He's very vocal and played alongside both Puyol and Ramos who are fighters, has experience and should be replicating those attributes on the field for us. If he's not he should go

That's why I admire Ramos even as a rival fan. Love him or hate him,you can't deny that the man knows how to marshal out his backline and that's why he's priceless to Madrid

Lol. You are funny.

Pique might be slow but saying he's not offering anything else is too harsh. Boss has won more aerial duels in the box than any other player and has one of those precision passes from the defense line to the offensive. Agreed, he has passed his prime, but it's still very much conducive to see him on the bench as a sub to key down already won games.
I dont judge players based on stats. They don't tell the full story. Messi had a very average season by his standards but still put up impressive numbers

Pique at this point should be doing what Ramos is doing for Madrid at this moment which is to lead the team from the back while Messi leads from the front. It's not all about numbers as any decent CB can win duels. It's basic defending101.

Yes our situation is way worse than Madrid but that lack of leadership from the backline is why players like Semedo and Alba can make Sunday school football mistakes in crucial games. Not saying it's his fault, but he's currently not providing that and he can go

Talking with you is fucking boring abeg.

Now you've jumped to Bezoz. You can't stay in one lane. I don't need to go to reddit to see shit. It is a place like NL where people post their opinion as fact like you just did.

There is no reputable website on the internet that will tell you that Microsoft was from his Fathers company. The connection he got wasn't even from his dad

Just accept that you goofed by mentioning that part in your initial argument
Honestly am tired of going back and forth with you on a topic you clearly have no idea about and don't even want to learn. This is going to be my last reply on you on this.

First things first,Nobody is telling you to go to Reddit to go read some opinions as facts. I pointed you the community because unlike popular media that feeds you the same bs narrative,Reddit contains Americans who know Bill Gates and his family. And I never said that was one place to get all your facts,I just gave a leadway. Websites and Publications can easily present Dangote as the richest man in Africa that made his fortunes through selling cements, but it's forums like NL that will tell the outside listener the politics that went behind that.

Secondly, the whole his father had no connection with his IBM deal clearly shows me you have no idea who his dad was and is certainly no ready to know about him. If you think his father was some random Lawyer, then I have nothing to say to you

If you think on the other hand,Bill Gates was some smart nerdy kid who dropped out of school, built some software and sold it to become the richest man in the world, then I don't think there's a bigger idiot than you. On my claim on the company,I could tell you the name of the company and what they did before Bill stepped in. But since you're going to believe what you want to believe anyway,no need wasting my time on that.

Lastly,i mentioned Jeff because I was just using him tell you that the whole i started as an Okada man story to now owning a transport company, rich people especially the white folks tell to simple minded people like you is nothing but just bs.

Nobody will tell you that the amount of money "borrowed" by Jeff from his family to start Amazon, many will never get that amount in their lifetime or the alleged amount given to that same Bill Gates by his father for the startup of Microsoft. You can do your own findings on what the amount was and it's current value in today's climate. Nobody tells you that same Bill Gates had access to PCs and started programming when individual ownership of Computers was deemed a luxury

As i said, you can choose to remain ignorant or you can educate yourself. It's up to you

Suarez, Rakitic and Roberto must leave. Even if it means to kidnap their mama at gun point.
They are wasting our space.

Busquets, Alba and Vidal should stay but chop bench. If they don't want bench let'em go.

Pique should still be in the first eleven.
Nah,Pique should leave after Alba and Suarez goes first. He has tried for us and is a legend of the club no doubt but man he's not offering any other thing at this point. I would've trusted in him staying if we were getting that on field presence like Ramos or that leadership morale like Puyol but we are clearly getting non of that. Not to even talk about his own contributions to the off field problems as one of the key senior players who have been clashing with those who run this club. He should go and will be welcomed back to take a more administrative role in the future

It is conspiracy. Bill Gate's father firm is a law firm that has partnered with various law firms. It is no longer what it once was.

Gate's father has since retired and now works in the philanthropic business with his son.

Bill gates company was a small fish in the Fry for over 5 years with $2m+ in revenue before it landed a wonderful opportunity in the hands of IBM

Just relax Bros, because you no sabi this thing pass me

Lol
This is so cliche. The same story that has been passed around for decades. This is the same way folks like you will think Jeff Bezos started from a bookshop without knowing what kind of family Jeff came from and the amount of money he was even given in the first place to start Amazon.

As i said am not going to be the one to educate you on this. Go and do your own research. But for the records, just like Unilever,Microsoft was already a company that was in existence before Bill came in and turned it into a tech company. You can research on what the name of the company was, what it did, etc. Reddit will do very well in helping to educate you on the backgrounds of The Gates family. You can choose to call it conspiracy, you can choose to feed off on what you think you know. That's on you

Teams and players score to send a message.

A 3 - 1 win is respectable. They know, we know. But respect was never the intention. Disgrace was the intention.

Go back and look at all heavy wins between heavyweight. A message was always being sent.

Both 2 - 0 and 10 - 0 does the same work.

But then, one is a win, the other is a disgrace.

There was a reason the players were laughing there and then on the pitch, and bragging thereafter. The game wasn't about mere qualification. Stop acting like its not obvious.

They intended to send a message, to make someone cry, and that they did.

I'm done with this discussion, sir
You're seeing what is not there. Respect in football is so overrated and such a stupid idea. The basic rule of football is outscoring your opponent as much as you can and Bayern did just that. Why score two goals when you can score 10 goals?? Are players who were winning supposed to be crying?? This is the champions league and nobody should be apologetic to playing to their strengths. We've won ourselves by large margins and I don't see anybody complaining about that. We beat Madrid by 5 goals and till today still brag about it. It is how football is

It's obvious you're channelling your grievance at the wrong quarters.
You are obviously blaming Messi for the over reliance on Messi.
How could you blame Messi for over reliance on himself?
What is the work of the coach?

It's not your fault though. When Barca have employed farmers as coaches recently.
Mediocre coaches everywhere. That's what's affecting you guys.

Coaches will come and collect 5 million pounds a year but still cannot solve a Messi dependency problem.

I miss big time coaches like Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho, Capello and co.
Most fans forget that we've solely relied on Messi for only 3 seasons and all of those seasons were under Valverde. Prior to that we fared pretty well with Neymar leading lines when Messi was injured or during the games we didn't produce his magic just like against PSG 2015 under Enrique saw MSN and we all know how that story goes. 2016 season didn't produce much as 2015 but it was still fairly ok with the teams responsibilities still shared amongst the trio. With Neymar leaving,Dembele coming in injured as usual and not fit, I could understand Valverde coming in and heavily relying on Messi for his bailout in his first season but Valverde had no clue on what he was doing subsequently. Even though am not a fan of Setien, there was little him too could do given the time he came in and the state of the squad at that time so he still went back to relying on Messi. The blame lies square on Bart and Valverde

Yes, presence of players motivate opposition to score more or less. It's psychology...

On one end, you have a Neuer vs MATS fight, on the other hand, you have a Barça vs Bayern fight.

They have a team, we have Messi. I don't think they can have any other joy than watching Messi cry.

2 - 1, or 3 - 1 certainly won't do that
Teams score goals because they want to score goals not cause of any player. Bayern knew we were at our lowest point and them at the highest point, Messi or no Messi. Taking full advantage of that also meant sending a message to the rest of the teams in the competition. Ronaldo playing won't have made no difference because Ronaldo has also been in the same field his team conceded 5 goals and could easily have conceded more. Its just how the game works.

It's ridiculous saying a team outscored the other team because they wanted to make their star player cry. If it's for bragging rights like El clasico,I could understand. It's more absurd saying that the other decided to score more goals because of the other teams players

I'm asking him to leave so we can face what we dread the most now.

Wouldn't it have been better if we list to Bayern, 8 - 2 without Messi playing?

Would Bayern have even scored 8 against a Messi-less Barça?

The presence of Messi infuriated them the more, and they sort to disgrace him even more.

When Messi leaves, we approach our worst fears sooner than later. That's why I'm advocating for him to leave already
Lol,this has to be the most senseless thing I've ever read. So,players are now the reason why opposition players decide to score?? So Madrid won't have have conceded 5 at Camp Nou if Ronaldo was not there?? Lol,bro wtf huh huh

More reason why a better environment is needed. He has just the right personality and has being in this type of environment with the Netherlands. Poch could've been good but he would never have survived as he doesn't have that character. He couldn't survive with Levy,he won't certainly survive in Barca especially which is way bigger than Tottenham and Levy combined with the way things are right now

I agree, you have a point. But when they were in the team, we weren't doing passtomessi.

Passtomessi is what brought us to this stage, a stage where we now dread Messi leaving, like he won't ever leave.

I say, let's get over it already. So long as Messi is there, we can't stop passtomessi. Even with the Koeman coming, he can't actually ask Alba not to pass to Messi. And every new signing will want to be on the good books of Messi.

Passtomessi will continue, in a nutshell
Nah. I agree that the whole passtoMessi was partially what brought about our current predicament but Barca has faired fairly fine in matches he was absent. We forget Neymar stepping up and the demolition of Madrid at Santiago was done without Messi,Suarez has stepped up in games Messi has missed including his hattrick against Madrid last season,Coutinho stepping up etc. The problem for the larger part of it goes to those who has seen Suarez playing absolutely rubbish whenever Messi is around and still keeps him in the team including playing him in Champions league games he went seasons without scoring. Those like Valverde who did a great job in stabilizing the team when Neymar left but decided that we will play the whole passtoMessi. Those who had seen where we were going but decided for some reason to still keep that same Valverde in his job. Messi may be part of the problem but he is not the problem

Anyways, wishing Koeman the best. Hopes he helps in this bitter evolution!! And hope he's not a glorified "Quick Setting" ( Quique Setien) or Valverde.
Koeman is the right man.Have you seen Netherlands play under him?? I have watched plenty games since he's appointment and he fits as our system. I never understood appointing Setien taking over Valverde in the first place. Netherlands had to get rid of the Robbens and RVPs and handed the rebuilding job to him and see where they are right now. De Jong will flourish under him as he has done in the national team. This is a right step in the right direction and the was what I expected after that night at Liverpool. Next to go is Bartomeu and hopefully either Laporta or Font takes over before we can now move to field to do a massive clear out there

Barcelona president Bartomeu rejected chance to sign Alphonso Davies because ace is Canadian despite legend’s recommendation

 Jaikuran Randhawa

bartomeu barcelona

In a surprising bit of news from TUDN broadcast Luis Omar Tapia, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu rejected the chance to sign Alphonso Davies before the ace joined Bayern Munich.

Tapia claims that legendary Bulgaria and Barcelona striker Hristo Stoichkov spoke to the Catalan outfit’s head honcho about the left-back months before Bayern registered an interest in the starlet.

Shockingly, Tapia adds that Bartomeu discarded Davies as an option simply because the youngster is Canadian, snubbing the opportunity to pursue a top talent and a legend’s recommendation in one move.

19-year-old Davies was absolutely phenomenal in Bayern’s 8-2 win over Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals last night, with the north American talent registering a sensational assist.

LordAdamX:
Oh, salary was a big issue. Perez delayed salary talks for 18 months. And you don't know what was in Perez mind when he bought Hazard. This is a man who was so clueless that he bought Mariano as a replacement for Ronaldo (and gave him the #7 jersey) and sacked Lope because according to him he was unable to utilize a team with several players who were shortlisted in the Balon D'Or team of the season. The same players who would later crash out of all competitions in a single week.

The salary was not an excuse.

===

You cannot say it had NOTHING to do with what happened on the field, when he publicly criticized the front office on transfer policy.

The friction between Perez and Ronaldo did not start in 2018. It was a perennial niggle but he did not leave until our sporting situation looked like it'd spiral out of control. He had already been booed in the Bernabeu because there was a section of the fanbase that believed he was part of the glaring problems. Yet there was no sense of urgency from the front office to remedy the problems. It was after the Lope catastrophe that Perez saw what everyone else was seeing.

Zidane left too. Neither Zidane nor Ronaldo would have left if RM still looked like world beaters. That's the reason I said CR7 time with us had ended. You either die a hero, or live long enough to be the villain. Messi is living out the latter part.

===

Dazzall. Of course, the blame does not ONLY rest on Messi.

My issue is with the "exoneration" by his fans of ANY culpability. After FIVE consecutive years of embarassments... That makes no sense!

Seriously, a coach with a working brain, change in mentality, 2-3 new players and this Barca team will be VERY different.

-Lord
The likes of Ronaldo and Messi are not just ordinary players. They have a say in who they play with, who is the manager etc. With such situations, there are always bound to be clash of egos especially since RM and Barcelona have presidents who heavily influences these transfer decisons. Look at the situation of Neymar for instance. Messi has always liked Neymar and Neymar himself has good relationships with most of the senior squad and they wanted him back last season. Players like Messi and Pique were ready to take pay cuts to fund his transfer. Now with the way Neymar left and Barca already signing Griezmann, the club felt the inclusion of Neymar into the squad meant they would've wasted money on Griezmann. Besides many people at the club didn't like the way he dipped on us and this apparently meant he was never signed. That now led to subtle public criticism of Abidal by Messi and the whole back and forth between the players and the board. Griezmann on the other hand had dealt us a blow when we wanted to sign him as Neymar replacement with his own media charade, so him on the other hand already had issues with both fans and people at the club before he even arrived our training center.

Your point on Ronaldo confirms what i was saying. There were issues quite alright in terms of playing personnel which Perez didn't see until Ronaldo left but all these didn't ultimately come down to issues of salary. Just like Messi,Ronaldo wants to play with certain players, feels the club are not making any signings like Hazard who for some reason the club had no secured his signature, feels like the club are not challenging enough for silverwares, wants certain things which might not necessarily pertain to money and so on. This will always lead to loss in relations with the likes of Perez who wants things done his way

The thing is clubs like Madrid,Barca,Psg and Man City could easily afford the wages of Ronaldo and Messi. If salary was such a big deal then Bale and James would never be in this team. Zidane has said he doesn't want both but yet they're still playing even going as far as blocking Bale's China move. As I said with 3 champions leagues in the bag, bringing in Hazard,Bale finally stepping up and knowing they still have a lot to squeeze out of Benzema and Ramos while cashing out big on Ronaldo,it was the ultimate move for RM.

Lopetgui's situation came from so many things. He left the Spanish team at a very critical time and walked into a RM side that just won the 3peat without Ronaldo nor his replacement. Unlike Zidane that brought out the best of the players through man management,Lop was more of an aggressive technician that wanted to implement his own ideas. Replacing a senior player like Marcelo with Regullion, replacing Ronaldo with inconsistent Bale and a no name like Mario, trying to stamp your authority in a dressing room with decorated winners while your highest achievements as a manager was with Porto was going to only going lead to one way which was losing the dressing room

Zidane left cause he wanted more control about how he ran his team which Perez wasn't going to give him. James and Bale situations highlighted the issues. Bale for instance doesn't want to be seen near the team by Zidane but Perez still insisted on keeping him and Bale was even started or subbed into games against Zidane's will. Navas on the other hand was a perfect goal keeper but Perez still insisted on bringing in Curtois as his replacement. Zidane came back due to certain assurances like more team control and the club giving him players he wanted like Pogba,Mbappe and Hazard. Unlike before he left, there was no way Zidane was dropping Bale out of a critical champions league game against Man City

The issue at Barca is not a coach or player thing. The president didn't call an emergency meeting and possible election tomorrow because of a new coach. And Messi is also part of the problem just like everybody else. I for one had criticised Messi for his involvement in the whole issue early on in the season in this thread. We just need to accept everyone is at fault, that way we can know the pathway we want to take

The falling out is what a non-RM fan will see.

Look closely and you'd realize it was much more than that. Ronaldo wanted to leave for the same reason Zidane left. On the one hand, there was the salary issue, but on the other hand there was the sporting issue. If we hadn't won the UCL in his last season, we'd have ended the season trophyless. We lost the league to the worst Barca team up to that point, were harangued out of the CdR and there were humongous issues in the team.

Earlier in the season Ronaldo criticized the front office for not having sufficient back-up; particularly with Morata and James. He knew if he had stayed, what's happening to Messi now will happen to him. All that Lopetegui and Solari drama, na CR7 name dem go dey call up and down.

Ron's exit is the Madrid way. I wouldn't call it unceremonious. The Balon D'Or was to keep Modric who was on his way to Inter Milan. Now Modric is about to be discarded like Perez had planned to do to Ronaldo if he hadn't pushed to leave.

All parties, Juve, RM, and Ronaldo got something positive out of the deal. There's no guarantee that Juve without Ronaldo would have won the UCL instead of Liverpool last year and this year no one is getting past Bayern. There's no guarantee either that RM with Ronaldo would have won the UCL in both years either... It's hard to keep winning after 3 consecutive successful runs. And Ronaldo gets his salary and a grateful board.

Barcelona's problem is multi-faceted, so it's easy for anyone to pick one party and build a case against them while shielding another party.

I refuse to buy this idea that a player of Messi's standing in Barcelona has very little if any blame in their current predicament. Talisman, captain, and club legend is not only about receiving fat salary and having club official accounts like your wife's social media post. He is either part of the solution or part of the problem; right now it doesn't look like the former.

First things first, salary was never an issue. If not Madrid would never have gambled a fit Ronaldo that had a balon dor winning season and has at least 5 years left that will bang at least 30 goals a season to an unfit Bale that is unreliable and is week in,week out of the hospital only to turn around and make Bale the highest paid player in the squad while he's somewhere playing golf even denying him a move to China. They made a move for Hazard knowing fully well he will never deliver like Ronaldo. The whole salary excuse they gave was just to appease the media and fans

Secondly,Ronaldo leaving Madrid had nothing to do with what happened on the field. He complained that he didn't feel the love he once had received at the club which is what is currently happening with Messi at Barca. There was a clear disconnect between him and those who run the club and that's why he pushed to leave. The aftermath of the Balon Dor was just a ripple effect of the whole issue and that's why he didn't attend those awards. Perez could care less if Modric went to Inter and giving him the award juat to make him no leave yet made more sense. You just can't lose Zidane,Modric and Ronaldo at a go. It was disaster waiting to happen and we saw how that went last season till that same Zidane was called back to make that transition/rebuild much easier

Thirdly, Winning the champions league 3x in a roll also meant that Madrid could afford to lose him. Cashing out 100M+,cutting his huge wage off the bill ,Bale finally stepping up after that goal against Liverpool, bringing in Hazard and knowing that Benzema and Ramos are also there made more sense so why not afford to let him go. It was a good business for both Juve and Madrid and am not doubting that

Barcelona's problem on the other is so deep that this is not just some problem with Messi and the board or one player against his manager. The club president pays media outlets to run propaganda against the squad, whether Neymar comes back or not has split the club as some people don't want him back while players like Messi,Pique,Suarez wants him. Rumors that Griezmann continues to get isolated by Messi due to issues that surrounded his signings. Valverde has a disaster against both Roma and Liverpool and somehow started this season as our manager. Messi and Abidal fallout, etc etc. The issue is so multi-faceted as you said that there's no one cause to point to. We just look like random 11 players that was thrown in to play for the sake of playing week in week out and yesterday was just what brought attention to those issues. The result was shameful to say the least but nobody who understood the mess we're in would be surprised by yesterday

Messi on the other hand as a captain will sure partake in the blame. At least as a captain,he should be able help the team separate what happens off field to what happens on the field. But the truth is that the problems are way beyond him and we need to at the very least start by weeding out those who run Brarcelona

You dey use back hold dam wen 1 burst. Don't say you were not warned.

2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, now 2020. That's five straight years that Messi has been unceremoniously bundled out from UCL. Same Barcelona team.

If this repeats next year, na your fellow cules go begin loud am say e don overdue to comot. And you Messi fans will not be able to stop it. The sentiment is already there. It's bubbling underneath. Every FCB online community has a rapidly rising half who feel the same way. Many are masking it with "other players are awful so he should leave." Very soon na finger dem go start dey point.

Madrid, Juve, and Barca are not on the same page at all. No let results deceive you.

Madrid is rebuilding and things are already looking up.

You can't replace a player like Ronaldo. His time with us has ended. And getting to the UCL SF consecutively is not the norm for any club. That consistency is only possible when stars align. Elite clubs with WC players fumble all the time. That's perfectly normal. Look at Bayern: After this yr, dem go cold. Like Liverpool don cold after two years. Then until 3-5 years before things go click again.

That's where Madrid is at now. And have two trophies, an elite core, and a legendary manager to show for it.

Juve has been punching above their weight. If it wasn't for Allegri's masterclass and a very good core, they had no business getting to 2 UCL finals.

They got Ronaldo for 2 reasons. Commercial appeal to raise revenues and out of desperation after 24 years of lack of success in the UCL. They've got the first. They might yet get the other. They're already rebuilding. They have a core midfield of Rabiot, Bentancur, and Arthur. De Ligt and Demiral are favorites to replace Bonucci and Chiellini. Kulusevski and Dybala are up front. And they're seriously looking to replace Higuain with a young 9.

That's not a board that's building around a 36 year old. They're building a team that'd have a winning mentality, keep winning the scudetto as a baseline, and be favorites for the UCL even after CR7 leaves. They want to be at the level of Madrid, Barca, and Bayern, where every year they're favorites, not have one good year and then drop off.

Ronaldo for his part has single-handedly transformed how the entire top office thinks and hastened the dismantling of the old guard. Mandzukic, Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi, Barzagli, Buffon. Cuadrado was on his way out, the Cancelo flop got him back in the team. Costa na from operating table to outbound jet nai remain.

Sarri came out after the Lyon ouster and said in the press conference that he was satisfied with how the team played. Bonucci said after the game that they had achieved their season objective (Scudetto) and the UCL is a dream. Hours later, CR7 said on Instagram that a club like Juventus cannot be thinking like that.

Next day, Agnelli (President) said the UCL is no longer a dream but an objective and sacked Sarri. Days after the Sporting Director Paratici said Sarri would get another year.

In comparison, Barcelona is a clusterf*ck. What are you guys doing? What is Messi doing? What is the fanbase doing beyond making excuses for favorite players? You had four whole years to build around 29-yr old Messi after Puyol/Xavi/Neymar/Enrique. I 8-2 point it out that it did not work. Now you want to build around and pamper a 33-yr old Messi? How about you build a very good team and let Messi be the icing on the cake?

This is how Messi destabilized the Argentine national team when talent is overflowing in every region of the pitch and why Argentines have a love-hate relationship with him.

Messi winning Pichichi and assisting in the double digits against the likes of Levante is WHAT YOU EXPECT from a #10 of his caliber. Na Benzema b e mate b4?

Them give am armband, give am highest salary in all of world football, remain small them go rename stadium to Camp Leo; yet for five consecutive years dem just dey embarrass the crest of the club and he's comfortably strolling and dropping shoulder. And you guys are saying he has paid his dues; like the club hasn't also overpaid his own dues. Would Maradona, CR7, Pele, or Zidane accept that nonsense. Na him mates b that... Mk e allow 13 yr-old virgins dey confuse am with adulation.

Mk e no worry, na e legacy e dey destroy. Barcelona is all he has. If na disgrace him use tk comot, na Zidane dem go dey compare am with.

For as long as Messi has stayed, the least Barcelona deserves is him leaving the club better than he met it. Not this dumpster fire that he's engineering. Everytime Messi does not deserve this... Barcelona nko?

Seriously, nai mk me no troll una with the loss, na d club I dey pity... I mean, as a Madrid fan, I couldn't have imagined better entertainment. But it was funny the first 4 years while we had our fairytale B2B2B, now it's just sad.

-Lord
Ronaldo left cause he had a falling out with Madrid not cause he wanted to leave. We saw how the whole Balon dor and his unceremonious exist went. Besides they could afford to lose him knowing fully well Benzema,Ramos were still producing results. Bale just scored goal of the season and with his rant and inclusion of Hazard,Madrid could easily afford to lose Ronaldo

Juve buying him was perfect business for both clubs. Madrid could afford to let him go after all 3 Champions leagues were already in the bag and Juve just needed that final piece in the puzzle

Barca on the other hand is in a way different mess. Losing Neymar,Valverde being at the helm of affairs even after showing he had no business with this club.,Suarez is now a bad player but for God knows what still starts ours games Falling out between players and club administrators, spending big on players that the club has clearly no plans for etc. Way different situations

I think I prefer Koeman.

Poch has vowed before not to have anything to do with Barca.

Since we have options of Koeman and later Xavi, we can shun Poch.
I too prefer Koeman. Poch is good but he doesn't have the personality to go against the likes of Levy not to talk about Bart and Barcelona who are a much bigger fish. Koeman stabilised Netherland and I believe he'll do the same job here.

That's the point.

It is practically impossible to sack everybody who needs to be sacked straight away.
Those at the critical positions must leave asap. Elections needs to be conducted before the end of this year. Bart/Abidal needs to go. That will show everyone that we mean business. Then slowly ease the likes of Coutinho back into the squad and someone like Koemann/Poch who are good in man management can come in and take steady hold of this ship. Then next summer transfer will see us go into the market in full force and clear out what we currently have. La Liga and other cups can take a back seat at the moment.

My disappointment was that it took yesterday's humiliation to open our eyes but better late than ever.
