nonsobaba: Size don't determine content. Anambra's GDP is fifteen times that of Enugu. Two-thirds of Enugu people live in Anambra state. I have never seen an Anambra native living in any town in Enugu state outside Enugu and Nsukka but when you come to Anambra, wawa people are found in every nook and cranny trying to grind out a living. I'm a very liberal person but some of you people from Anambra can make the most liberal person become hostile. I get where Abagworo comes from when he attacks Anambra but i pretend like all is well in order to forge Igbo unity but you guys are taking this bragging and superiority complex a bit too far. My only consolation is that majority of Anambra people are reasonable people. |
Politics › Re: Akwa Ibom State Under Governor Udom Emmanuel - Projects And Pix by Afam4eva(m): 11:20am On May 28, 2017 |
Billyonaire: This Particular governor is a disappointment to me, because as a former ED of a bank, I had expected 'miracles' from day one. Now these roads look sub-standard compared to what Akpabio built in that State. AKS receives the highest Allocation from FG and yet, I had expected to see magic. But the governor is just confused at the moment. I am interested in getting assets there, the last time I visited, I went to buy a house at Shelter Afrique, and I realized that Lekki Houses are cheaper and more beautiful. But cos a house I would have bought for 80 million in Lekki cost up to 120m at Shelter Afrique, that was an absolute turn off.
If things improve there, count me in, I will step and get a few hectars. Nature is not creating new land, we need to put our names on the sands of time, where ever the citizens make it business friendly. Those roads don't look sub standard, though i can't compare it with roads built by Akpabio. I wish Enugu had the kind of money at Akwa Ibom's disposal. I can imagine the huge impact it would make. Akwa Ibom has succeeded in putting in place the basic infrastructure in place. What is left, is to empower the people who will i turn build a model city for the state. |

Lol This is one lame excuse. BSC is not something someone forgets if you truly know it. If she could get what the B stands for, she should be able to tell the rest. This just shows that educational system breeds illiterates. I saw many of them when i did my NYSC. We have a national emergency on our hands. |

fratermathy: Looking for trouble?
That I was trying to set the record straight? If you consider this as trouble then your bar is terribly low!!!
Look at the post: I never insulted Igbo or IPOB. I only clarified facts; facts that others wouldn't know if they are not clarified. Nobody is saying you insulted anyone. What i'm saying is that there's no need of you to say IPOB said this and that when you can confirm that it's one person's opinion. IPOB is made up of human beings who despite the fact that they have one target reason differently. I've told you about how different people draw the Biafran map but you won't have none of it. There's no such thing as an official IPOB group. |

fratermathy: This post was extracted from the Biafra Herald, which as I recall, has always been the mouthpiece for IPOB propaganda.
I am expecting the internet warriors to come. It wasn't unforeseen when I decided to share their "PLEA" here. You can believe whatever you want. Just accept the fact that you're as much a trouble maker like the IPOB warriors on here. You're definitely seeking for attention and they will give it to you. |

meiyol: I just lost my relationship due to genotype issues..he is AS and I'm AS. We knew abt our genotype incompatibility frm the very first day..we were cool with it or so i thought. We were together for a year nd some months before we switched to long distance relationship cos of his job. I'm a med student, he is a doctor, so we both knew wat it meant. I was cool with it cos the signs were there that God put us together..everybody knows it, his parents, my parents..we ourselves knew it that our paths were ordained by God.. Then suddenly, from nowhere, he comes up with dangers of having sickler kids, the diseases they face, their pain and all..he suddenly stopped talking abt d fact that we may be lucky not to have any of our kids as sicklers, or medical methods we could use like IVF and all..our parents are both aware of the genotype ish, mine are very okay with it. He said he's not sure his parents are okay with it and yet they call me EVERYDAY to assure me nothing will go wrong and to cheer me up and all.. i questioned him cos it made me feel he was looking for an opportunity to leave..and he didnt give me any reply, just stopped talking to me. Our introduction was slated for next year, he is my first love, I've been so loyal nd i pray for him.. I feel so used and heartbroken..my instincts tell me something is wrong..I'm back to square 1, where would i start from? He was my best friend, my everything..now, it's just me As a medical student that you are, You should be ashamed of yourself by not only knowing the implication of having two partners with AS genotype and still want to marry and have children. He did the right thing, though i'm wondering why he didn't do it sooner. |

Mynd44: We both know I aint bugging you; I dont have the time and dont really care that much.
Just needed you to see (again) what happens when we make statements without thinking it through. Now every time you make a statement (might even be off NL) someone can just produce your comments here as evidence. A way to debate against you with your own words.
As I once said Igbos are not marginalised, Yorubas are not marginalised EVERYONE in Nigeria is marginalised. The sooner we understand this, the better for all of us I coud have deleted that comment years ago when people started bugging but i chose not to because i want things to take it's course. That statement was made just around the time that APC, south west chose a PDP house of reps member as opposed an APC one, so i made that statement with that in mind. Now, on the issue of marginalization, i agree that everyone if marginalized but to what extent are the different groups marginalized? I quite agree that Igbos felt some sense of belonging under Jonathan but they were not given undue advantage over other groups like some people will have us believe. I've asked people to prove that Jonathan favoured Igbos over other majority group and they usually go numb. The only problem people who preferred the status quo had with Jonathan is that he was weakening their overwhelming dominance to accommodate other groups who had been marginalized for so long. Anyways, i'm creating topic on it. |

freddymanny49: Hello NL,
I don fumble men. Some lady came over to my place to sleep over. As usual things went down that i couldn't help but release my sperm in this young lady. I bought her contraceptive pills to use but it turns out that she didn't use them. Now she called me to tell me that she hasn't seen her period for days now and i banged this chick first Friday of this month.
I am so confused because I have a girl I want to marry and i am truly in love with this girl i want to. My world is crashing because of a stupid choice i just made by sleeping with an ex without a condom. Now she wants to keep the baby which I am cool with. My concern is that her people will force me to marry her. I cant marry a woman that i am not in love with.
What do i do? What do i do? I don't want to be forced into marriage because of circumstance.
This chick forced herself on me to sleep with her and i was drunk and under influence of hard drugs when this happened.
Now I am rambling and rambling because I don't genuinely love this girl. She is someone i am not even proud to show the world. The girl i want to marry comes from an affluent background just like i do. How do i handle this? Nobody can force you to marry anybody. This is not the 18th century. Just make sure you perform your duty as a father to the baby. Chikena. |

If the daughter married? Yes
So, i don't understand why they should take permission from her parents when she's an adult. They should have just said that the position is not befitting. |

We celebrate all the festivals in my family too because we have people practising different religions within the family and its our way of associating and celebrating with them.
Both Muslims and Christians contribute money together for each festivals and usually no discrimination on which religion another person is practising. I just checked and i realized i left out the Easter part. What i was trying to say was that she threw a party on Easter day despite being a Muslim. |
