If you're a "yearly tenant" paying yearly as it is in the agreement, he would give you half of "yearly" when you want to pack out, and if "six months" (half a year), you would be given half of that before pack out, so manup.

Talking from experience

It’s because landlords forgo the money that you can say nonsense with confidence. If that landlord has your time, he will give you your 6 month notice by you will pay for those months.

No law allows you to owe your landlord. The Notice is just for you to find another accommodation not to live for free.

Well said. It’s just like saying a person died of heart attack. But omitting the fact that someone did something to trigger the attack. Or like saying someone who couldn’t swim drowned in a pool but not mentioning that he was pushed in.

Of course he died of sepsis. But what led to the injury (ankle ulcer) that caused the sepsis? What caused the blisters on his lips? Why did the Lagos autopsy say nothing about the blisters or the blunt force trauma that the warri autopsy mentioned? Yet the commissioner of police said both autopsies were in agreement.

Then DPP rushed to give legal advice while the coroner’s inquest had not been concluded. Why these irregularities?

They are working hard to bury this case.
