I don't know how one support a president that attempts not to follow the rules. One who tried to scam his own citizens by using their money to blackmail another president, telling the Ukranian president to publicly make an announcement on CNN in order to extract a public comment from him that he thought would hurt his opponent politically. He is fighting to continue to hide his tax records, and using his office to promote his businesses as well as that of his kids. The kinds of leaders in Nigeria is what fits you as they are African versions of Donald Trump. If not for the strong democratic institutions in the United States, Trump would have been a dictator.

Sowore is not a US citizen. He is only a US permanent resident.

Point of correction. Part of the statement ascribed to Chuck Schumer is incorrect.

Sowore, until the last election and I believe until now is only a US Green Card holder. I heard him on a online program before the election confirm this. Very few do so for ease of travel around the world without stress and cost of applying for visa. Buhari and his gang even enlisted Falana to challenge and won against Jonathan government in court to be able to protest without police permit. Thank God some people keep records. Yes, the same Buhari called for revolution, he used graphically scary words to call for violence after losing election. And also seek the help of a right-activist lawyer to be able to protest without government persecution.

Oga, don't even mention China. If you want to do that, first advice Buhari to implement death penalty against corrupt practices first. Then he can do whatever he likes. You can't cherry-pick. And stop comparing apple to oranges. Is Nigeria a communist or semi-communist state as China of today.

And your mindset says it all. Comparing a Saudi monarchy and North Korea communist systems to Nigeria. Is it by force to practice democracy when the people themselves does not understand it? Our cultures, north, west, and south was monarchical before Europeans came. Though some tribes within Nigeria are more open to new ways of doing things than others.
