Splashme:The lady nor get sense. To Trump baby passport tourism is even worse than those coming through the boarder. US born kids cannot be deported in the future. If Trump wins second term, he might remove jus Solis right to passport. UK, Ireland and many others have done so in the last 40 years. The wanton spending abroad is one reason the average and poor Nigerians go abroad. Money the rich and looting politicians go to squander abroad can create more jobs in Nigeria and keep more potential immigrants in Nigeria. No matter how rich you think you are, when push comes to shove, to foreign countries, you are only just a Nigerian. Nothing more. Ordinary Nigerians go abroad to work and bring money to Nigeria. The rich take our money to oyinbo. |
Lol. I knew this thread will soon degenerate into tribal war. It is no wonder that unity remains a farce. ![]() |
Soon Bubu will become President Wade like that former Senegal president. ![]() |
Bloooody:Arabs began slavery in Africa. Long before Christians came. Bilal the first Muezzin (a black man) was a slave, only later freed. Today in Middle East Some Arab men still poo in the mouths of African women there. Slavery still codedly occurs in several Arab & Muslim countries. If you doubt it I can upload one such video here of a dazed (possibly drugged or beaten) black lady being forced to lick poo from Arab man's arse. After first pooing in her mouth. The minute you ditch your culture and copy another person's foreign culture, you have been mentally enslaved: whether Western Eastern or Middle Eastern. |

Megatrix:Rest? What about the kids and elderly mum he is not there to provide for anymore? Who will train them? Pius was a prof with plans for his kids and family. |
Femich18:Tonight at 8pm against Norway. |
midform:Saraki achieved the highsest level a Northern Yoruba can. The North will never give him VP or presidency. They will rather give Benue or Jos people. Also SW will not give him any high office zoned to a Yoruba person. Even SP would never have reached him. But he took it and kept it throughout. So he lost nothing. He learnt from Danjuma's political career both in the army govt and civilian. Oloye trained him well. |

garfield1:I hear you. If people of questionable morale and character are the best to lead a country, good luck to you. At the end those that defend morally bankrupt elements in power actually have more to lose. Let's continue in mediocrity. The future will tell. |
This is getting interesting. |
If you really love her let her finish her education before you marry her. As she's poor she might not be letting you know the truth: if she truly loves you or not. Not to scupper her chances of education through your help. At 18 she will meet "hot" guys from 18 to 25 at university. And she might lose control and cheat on you. Finish her studies then follow another guy. Then you will come here and lament her ungrateful women are. At 18 she has probably not dated properly before. The age gap between you and her is far BIGGER than between someone who is 39 and the girl is 28 even though both are chronologically same. People change a lot between 18 and 25. She has not lived her life at all. Many women later feel they were caged too early. Lots cheat when they get older and begin to work. She will then be meeting the types of guys she'd have liked to marry if she had a choice by that time. Temptation can be very big. Although many regard 18 to 25 as olosho age for women, it it not so for all. Think carefully. You can assist her but not in expectation of marriage or appreciation. |
Jaideyone:I have never lied in a professional capacity. In my environment a lie can cost you very dearly. Not like 9ja where anything goes. If Gbaja lies to his mum or wife about family stuff I do not want to know. But professionally I care because it shows his moral fibre in a position of public responsibility and trust. Being debarred is still very serious. One deemed not of good enough character to be doing something that requires decent people to be doing. Can such a person become congressman in USA? So you can see why people run to USA and Europe for simple stuff like ear infection treatment. Look we can defend the indefensible due to parochial reasons but remember we are not going to leave a good nation that our children deserve doing things that way. We wouid be shooting ourselves in the foot. |
kenzysmith:My brother I do not support Ghandollar. As much as Sanusi did much damage to GEJ. Even GEJ will not support Ghandollar's action. What happened has been a blessing in disguise for GEJ. He left power with his life and health intact. And made us realise that noisemakers in opposition have remained mere noisemakers and blamers after 4 years in power. When I see GEJ's life I think of Matthew 5:5 in the Bible. Blessed are the meek. |
LavittaRicca888:Just like that. Look, Nairaland is no soft touch o. People may show rudeness, banter, tribalism and things here BUT scammers are not tolerated here. MMM kinda stuff is not allowed here. Better be sure of what you post here. We know that since OLX tightened their security, scammers are looking for new homes. You cannot register today 7th of June and begin telling people about investing money. Be very CAREFUL what you write here. |
There is one basic question people are not asking: Was Gbaja convicted of the offence of fraud and dishonesty in Georgia, USA? We need to start putting sentiments, emotions and tribe aside and seek the truth. We should expect basic rectitude from our citizens and leaders alike. If a student is known to lie and commit fraud, can he/she be elected as class prefect at King's College or Queens College Lagos, Govt College Ibadan, Christ The King's College Onitsha, St Finbarr's Yaba, ICC Benin-City, FGGC Owerri, FGGC Zaria or any other reputable Secondary school, never mind NASS? |
SarkinYarki:Mathew: 5:5 in the Bible says "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth". People took President Jonathan's meekness and peacefulness for foolishness and began telling all kinds of lies against him. When all those lies and scheming eventually made him lose the election, he just walked away and gave desperados the chance to rule. They have been blaming everybody else since. Boko partly melted into herdsmen, now internationally rated as one of the worst terrorist groups. Except in Nigeria. Sanussi should savour the kind of medicine he served GEJ back then. Including trial by media. ![]() |
If you know you are leaving power in 3 months time, is that not enough time to submit govt property in your possession irrespective of political party taking over or leaving? |
Serious set up. She even entered camera view proper to hit him, lol. ![]() Fear women. |
Kneeling or not kneeling is not the focus, but respect. Bible tells a woman to submit to hubby. Do yours and wait for hubby to love you as himself as the Bible says. For Christians. Muslims do not allow commenting on their thread so I will not mention what Quran says about it. People submit and roll on the fllor for Daddy GO but not for hubby. Meanwhile Bible never says submit to GO o. No wonder this word will never settle. By the way I need no woman's knees on the ground for me. But if anywoman does it for her hubby, it's proper from both Christian and cultural perspective. |
Amanda4life:Well, you might have only females and not looking like the dad may seem normal. If the man outside is tall, the hubby is tall and the kids are tall too, then it can be difficult to say. What is obvious is that cheating on hubby is as old as humanity. Not just beginning with modern slay queens. One was shown on British TV about a Nigerian family. A man in UK brought the son he had previously in Nigeria to study in UK. He was already an adult so family reunion did not apply and embassy did no DNA test. He paid high fees to take the son through university in UK. Only to later discover the son was not his. I also know several acquaintances who tried bringing their children from Nigeria to UK but the kids failed embassy DNA test. ![]() So much cheating going on in Nigeria despite all the open religiosity. |
Amanda4life:No mind those doubting. I have said it here many times that around 40% of firstborn kids belong to another man and about 30% of all kids too. Until you have done DNA tests on your kids never say you are 100% sure. In the wicked world we live in, some men impregnate their brother's or cousin's wife. Both can be cheating under the husband's nose for years. So the kids might even resemble the husband a bit. Anything is impossible now. A late relative's 3 kids belong to two other men. He died soon after finding out. Suddenly. The humiliation was too much. He treated the lady like a queen. Cars, gifts, attention. Luckily he had a child with a previous wife. People who have not seen much in life keep doubting. If kids have light or dark skin like one of their parents or grandparents, it's easy not to know from physical appearance. |

odigbosky:Hahahaha. ![]() E be like Seun don hammer wella. E be like say he nor dey too much worry about quality of Nairaland again. Nor surprise if Nairaland goes the way of Nairalist once owned by Seun. Many pioneers of Nairaland use hardly come here anymore. Now that only gossip of Tontoh Duke, Regina Daniels, ogeh, Toke Makinwa and other face-me-face you quality dey come fb, with indescriminate banning, mods are doing a good job to Bury a once reputable website. Anyway hoping they will start getting it right again. |
ppogba:Win it twice I think. With Chelsea too I think. |
Kundagarten:Edo is doing OK financially even without much oil. Edo is not a core oil state. Just need better management But my point is still valid. World people see things in different ways. While strategic collaboration is good, better to focus on one's own as Nigeria is today. |
Binikingdowm:A result of splitting states anyhow. Imagine the combined recurrent expenditure of Edo and Delta now. But some will point to the growth of Asaba since 1991 as proof that creating new states is good. It is often best to avoid the topic not to seem to be eyeing the oil of Delta from Edo perspective. States currently have decent IGR and should do well if not for corruption. |
