OkutaNla:Interesting that Benin City ranks 7 in Nigeria in market size. Aside others in Nigeria, It is one of only few other non- national capital cities in top 35 alongside Douala, Kumasi, Marrakesh, etc. But bigots prefer to talk of witchcraft. And na dem be winch gan gan that their hamlets have remained inconsequential in human history & current world. |
I hope Minister of Darkness was with them. ![]() |
Lanretoye:For example if the act of a company leads to the death of someone. It could be accident at work where the employer is deemed to have flouted health & safety rules. You may not be able to hold one individual responsible (for manslaughter) as you can if someone hits and you and hit him back and he dies suddenly. And you just reacted impulsively without any prior plan to kill him. The Child Protection Act should be revisited. We need a progressive law that exclusively protects children. NAPTIP one is not like that. |
Lanretoye:e |
Hmmmm! Sounds like contract killing. Only God knows the source. RIP. |
Nigeria has lost it completely. Rotten from head to toe. A country where every third house is a religious worshipping place. Tufiaa! |
A social media friend who died, their account is still there. 5 or 6 years on. |
Sourcethe:Apkabio was Akwa Ibom/Uyo governor. Cross River & Akwa Ibom are even closer relatively. Both formerly part of old Cross River State. Bayelsa closer to Rivers. Both formerly part of old Rivers State. |

RussianKGB:Ewwwwww! With these ones? |
Peterosky:Nope. Blame those who foisted him on us. Is it OBJ, Tinubu, Soyinka, Amaechi, Okorocha or which of them didn't know the man is a bit slow intellectually? Idiagbon was the one pulling him along then. I met him briefly as head of State, though young & very smartly dressed in Khaki, his speech was already slow. I could see & hear it as young as I was then. Not to talk of far older people like Tinubu, OBJ and others who worked with him or knew him far better. Our people are very selfish and do not have interest of Nigerians at heart. To foist him on us for their own selfish reasons. Who will refuse such an opportunity if given? |
Wetin he for talk before? He's not Buhari who blames his country's citizens as lazy & corrupt. Everyone knows South Africans openly detest Nigerians because: (1) SA women follow Nigerians with a can-do, never say die, industrious and hustling spirit. (2) Nigerians begin life with little and prosper. (3) Any Nigerian who prospers is labelled drug dealer. |
mgtow:Nothing to add. QED. |
yep. |
BlackAfrican:Dude, let's face it. MOST ladies are at it these days. NO MAN can claim his woman isn't doing it. I'd advise even married men not to be so bold to claim exclusivity. I know what I mean. Some of us are in the position to see all imaginable orisirisi. So long you're not married, kindly accept that you're only a shareholder. Even if married, still only by Grace of God. An averagely pretty lady on social media will be hit on by several men daily: rich, poor, average, handsome, local-based, foreign-based, stingy, generous, etc. How many girls nowadays can resist all these men ALWAYS? Around 35% of firstborn kids belong to another man outside. All those women who get pregnant and they quickly organise wedding before belly gets big. As a man if no DNA test done, OYO. About 25% of all kids belong to another man outside. A late wealthy relative of mine had kids with his wife in Nigeria. It later turned out all the kids were not his. He died mysteriously soon after. Only the kid he had with a European lady abroad is his (DNA proven). His 9ja wife had all the SUVs and money to use but still cheated recklessly. By the time many girls are 16, they have learnt that men are the easiest way to make money. Their taste only increase with time. In terms of promiscuity, women tower above men these days. Easily. |
Dude it seems you've not dated many girls before your current one. Your gf might have many great qualities BUT...if all you said is true, you have a major challenge. People do not change for the better after marriage. Instead for the most part they relax and start showing all their dirty sides they concealed before. But your lady is not enough bothered to conceal her worrying attitude. Either she cannot feel remorse, too proud, never corrected growing up or she has no real love or respect for you. With time, maybe in marriage, she'd not mind displaying same attitude in the presence of your friends and family. Or even towards them! You need to assess things carefully. You might need a break. But start thinking of doing without her. |
Easily possible. Many do that. Mostly not to a regular lady because people will be cynical. Often we come across those in medical and other needs on social media. |
Dem go hear? Too late. The money too sweet. Wetin dey sweet pesin na im dey kpeme am. ![]() |
VULCAN:Lol. APC will lap up Musa's words. Even though they did exactly same thing. Money from Amaechi's Rivers pocket out-bought delegates for Buhari to win primaries. Money that he got access to winning election under PDP. Otherwise Atiku would have bough them. |
Musa might be saying APC will not handover if they lose. Nigeria has very few gentlemen in politics like GEJ. In Nigeria being gentle & democratic is called Mumu. We are opposite of all serious countries in the world. |
EVILFOREST:Explain that bolded. And also explain that 50% if you are talking in Nigerian education context. Because in a major Western country I have experience of, 50% is pass mark alright. But not literal 50%. It is the weighted average percentage. If the literal pass mark is set at 92% or 87%, that figure becomes 50%. A formula is used to compute it. It is so because a doctor who gets only 50% of things right is a disaster to unleash on the population in deed! |
Very true. |
SoNature:Na this kain woman dey very obedient inside house pass. I just pity women without her money, fame or connections who will misunderstand her point. To sell in the West (where her market mostly is), you need to toe certain oyinbo ideological lines. It is awards and recognition from the West that gives popularity and sell you to the Western public. Right now gay right & feminism sell. Common sense. |
safarigirl:Abi o. Some girls sef wey good guys dey toast outside go fashy dem dey die for Obi Mikel. Mikel wey one Russian babe don hook with twins. ![]() |
Onechancearmy:Well, Quebec in Canada has same issue. Last referendum narrowly favoured unity. But they all know that breaking away isn't really the best. All these countries know where they belong among the comity of nations. And prosperous. In Belgium the Flemish believe the pay much of the tax, have nearly 2 million more people than Wallonia yet the Walloons call the shots politically. The Walloons like to hype their high culture and role of the French cousins in Belgian revolution/liberation. So several things going on. Even Scotland even had a referendum only a few years ago. Nobody really believes any country is breaking up. The innate diversity of a country like Belgium is seen as quintessentially European as the EU wants to promote unity in diversity. Strasbourg that has been German & French many times over is also the official seat of EU parliament. |
Onechancearmy:Low Countries = Netherlands. Being lower than sea level technically. It's more geographical than nationality historically. In theory wide areas that include Northern France/Picardy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Westernmost part of Germany were all low countries. It was Holy Roman Emperor Charles V's Pragmatic Sanction of 1549 that really united the SEVENTEEN PROVINCES that were more or less autonomous in Burgundian Low countries. Then came the 80 Years War from 1568 to 1648 that split it again as concluded by Peace/Treaty of Westphalia. The Split created Spanish Netherlands in the South and again changed to Austrian Netherlands after France annexed Calais from the South. If you know the Habsburg history in Spain, Burgundy & Austria in that era you will know. Few countries have been so vastly and frequently changed by competing regional powers in Western Europe than Benelux. Imagine today, Brussels is in Flanders (a Dutch/Flemish speaking region normally) but you will notice that French is the real language of Brussels despite claiming to be bilingual. Many historical curiosities in that country. |
Sad. Quick recovery. |
Onechancearmy:Not entirely. Both Holland & Belgium once came under French control under Napoleon. The history is much deeper. Belgium's history is very closely linked with Holland, France, Germany as all were part of the Caroligian empire. Belgium was united by the House of Valois-Burgundy (a French Noble Family), part of the Capetian dynasty. What is now Belgium were once different small states/counties or duchies like Burgundy, Artois, Flanders, even including Luxembourg at some points, Brabant (now mostly in Holland). Their national anthem "La Brabançonne" written by Frenchman Mr Jenneval in 1830 still alludes to it. Various European treaties adjusted boundaries and created various states. The Treaty of Westphalia in 1648 being an important one. |
oyoni:Many blond kids later have their hair turn darker. Just like many fair skin kids turn darker as skin produces more melanin. Hair does same. |
Ok. |
