Gekko:
from my observation some are rude and some are sweet but the rude ones are in the majority especially the ones that migrated from back home.
Just recently i tried to chat up a girl after a party while sitting in my buddies car, she goes "see you in passenger seat trying to talk to me" huh then she
sizes me up, rolls eyes, sucks teeth and walks away , all i can i do is shake my head and laugh. cool the homie was furious angry I had to restrain him from blasting
her with some unkind words, i told him its not worth it, her loss. tongue

I guess the idea of car pooling doesn't sit with her. undecided
now i cant help but laugh so hard grin at bolded

Family › Re: Why Do Men Think Their Extramarital Affairs Are Ok? by armyofone(m): 3:13pm On Jun 14, 2011
i don't think african culture allow polygamy. pple do stuff and overtime it becomes their lifestyle. many women in africa do not have resources like their western sistahs. if it is true that it is allowed, why do they fight all the time among themselves? have you been to a poly home before? do you see the headache? who want that kind of life? african men just go ahead and bring women home without consulting their 1st wife. why? he knows that the 1st wife will not agree to such. when the new woman comes in, the first wife has no choice more than to put up with it.
Extramarital affair is never okay no matter how we twist it. if you are fed up with your wife/husband, going the extramarital way is not the best option.

Food › Re: Nigerian Low Calorie Diet by armyofone(m): 1:07pm On Jun 10, 2011
counting calories in nigeria food/meal is hard. i mean how many cups of rice do you want to cook. i think adult should eat 1/4 cup of rice for a meal. but then that 1/4 cup will be like nothing on your plate. the taste of nigerian stews are so delicious. . . so that 1/4 cups is nothing  cheesy
now how many slice of our white bread? half slice of bread or 1 slice of bread. no butter, no jam, no peanuts butter  wink.
as for beans, i heard we should eat it more. but guess what, a lil beans will fill you anyway unlike rice.

now our soup is one huge huddle  grin we cook our soup so rich with assorted stuff. egusi soup will have goat meat, shrimp, dried fish, ponmo, cowleg etc. imagine shocked grin counting calories for that one, me no fit grin now how much per serving to eat, i don't know but would love to know. i love cooking nig meals esp serving friends and family.

anyway, OP make sure you work out as you eat. cut everything you eat into half of it. if you are used to eating one full plate of rice, eat half. invest in vegetables and salad (no dressing). plain vegetable is  kiss i don't know which nig greens you could eat raw.
raw spinach is superb.

learn to measure your cookings. make sure you invest in measuring spoons and measure everything you cook.
moderation is the key.
Food › Re: Why Do People Like Goat Meat? by armyofone(m): 6:47pm On Jun 09, 2011
come see analysis of GM 101

rhymz:
Actually, he-goats are more expensive than their female counter part prolly cos of the difference in tast and the fact their meat is soft and takes less time to cook compared to the she-goats whose meat is strong and takes more time and ingridients to cook. My mum usually says that it will take twice the amount of ingridients used in cooking a he-goat to cook a she-goat.
Another thing if some of you habe noticed is that there is usually a time the he-goat's "offensive"(cos me i don't find it offensive sha) smell becomes very strong that one can percieve it from miles away, they smell strong when thet are in their "heat period", usually early in the morning and night time when they want to mate the she-goat. I think the increase in smell comes from more testosteron production. Another thing is the difference between the native goats and the conventional Hause agric goats(the ones with long legs and usually brown). I ve eaten goat meat long enough to know that the native goa
ts taste way better and oozes more strongly than the agric.
Anyway, goat meat is way better and more nutritional than pork and beef.
It is the best meat for egusi soup and very good too for stew, mumsi uses it a lot for stew in my house. Then the pepper soup is mehn, delicious to say the list. If you want to enjoy goat-meat pepper soup, look for an Anambra woman that does the ish in any restaurant-bar, mehn those women are endowed with culinary skills that can only be rivalled by calabars.
na you dey teach goat buyer Ogidiboy abt gm?  grin he drove his mom to afia ewu for Texas go buy 1 live goat o
True sha i like gm for ofe egusi and stew. i miss it but tonite, i'm going to get me Jamaica curry goat for dinner.

Christianity Etc › Re: Forbes: The Five Richest Pastors In Nigeria by armyofone(m): 3:46pm On Jun 09, 2011
i just dont think it is right for them to acquire material crazily. a modest home of 3 bedrooms and things you need is okay. what's with the swimming pool and Aircraft anyway when there are nice beaches and planes all over the place  undecided let's say they got rich from selling their books etc why not donate those spoils to the society?

many kids around the world, Nigeria, US, UK, etc go to bed hungry and we have pastors getting rich and building huge home here on earth smh, sad sad.
