Wow. OKI printing solutions. |
DBlackCeazer:I don't know. But I know that at that point (1 mn & above), commercial Banks have tailored products for depositors. With applicable rates on their websites. Check with your bank. Check two other Banks to compare rates. |
Adeshola5:Fixed deposits of less than 1 million at conventional rates are really poor investments in the average Nigerian bank. |
Joromi12:While it is not always good to generalize, a good number of people share this view. Why is that? |
Esseite:Safe mordern bikes are helpful IF they are inexpensive. There are no commercial intracity buses in Akure/Ondo. |
Jayslicky:Rent ? One-fourth of your yearly salary? That's ridiculous. |
compton11:Really ? So why then is his mum white? Or isn't one whose parents are from different races a mixed race person? And banana thrown at him doesn't determine one's race. He is brown skinned. That's genetic "randomness" at play. His sister is lighter skinned. You can be mixed while being brown skinned. Since he is not white. He is not black. Mixed race =/= black. |
benjsniper33:He (Neymar) is not black. He is mixed race. His mum is, well , white. |
Iceness:Hahahahaha! Nice. But. I thought you already learnt that from Liverpool FC UCL exploits. Still learning it again? |
J111333:You probably mean: Why expose her like that, it's indecent, AND she is human. And not "she is someone's daughter/sister". Her value as a human stands on its own. Her value does not derive from being the daughter or sister of another person. |
alaraa:Thanks. I meant professional though. Not Skills. |
icefish1:Hello you are yet to send the PDF. |

Professional. Thanks. |

Professional. |
alaraa:Hello please, could you send to Blueurgency@gmail.com Thanks. |
olarid01:True BUT that's not the full picture. When you ask that someone embarks on a tough journey with you — promising a better future after which— there must/should be Guarantees. Eliminating subsidies isn't the full package BUT a good start. The other part requires Guaranteeing that saved resources from subsidy are ploughed back to the economy in ways that promote growth & development and NOT stolen/Missappropriated by Corrupt and/or inept leaderships. If subsidy savings aren't reinvested properly, removing subsidies just piles more hardships for the average Nigerian. Don't ask to trust the government yet though. Trust/reputation should be earned while the subsidies subsist. Then and only then would the citizenry be more convinced to go on the journey of austerity (subsidy removal) with the government. |
Joromi12:That's the fear of most Nigerians. Eliminating subsidy doesn't always GUARANTEE to more better life for ALL Nigerians. It could also mean more money to be siphoned by Corrupt politicians (almost a tautology) — and more hardship for the average Nigerian. Many Nigerians see subsidies (if it really exist ) as their sole REAL benefit from the Nigerian government. |
DuBLINGreenb:He did. He usually almost always does. Did you read only the headline? |
princechurchill:Sure. No matter how Mature/reasonable one is you CANNOT make it work ALONE. Apparently, in marriage, your union is as strong as the weaker partner in a union. A bit unfortunate. The only way to GUARANTEE never experiencing Marriage challenges (By your own actions— which the only ones you totally control ) is to never get marriage. Most should take the risk though. |
TheFacelessMan:Ok. What's Cash down? |
TheFacelessMan:Ok. Nice. Did you consider Graduate Assistantship (Scholarships). Through GRE ? |
TheFacelessMan:Wow! I really like Hopkins. Probably due to Bloomberg. If you don't mind my asking what course did you seek? |
Offpoint1:Having a Music career is NOT necessary mutually exclusive to being a Christian. Of course this means that his music career is probably not going to be the same as before the attack. |
wristbangle:No. Currently it wouldn't be. But since most people buy a cellphone to at least make calls among other things, they'll need a carrier (I.e. At& t, Sprint, TMobile etc.) And that's where there Appears to be some restrictions for Government and Corporate use of these devices. On an individual/personal use at home basis I don't think a full blown restriction is in effect yet. |
BiggyB242:Tell that to Vikram Pandit Who finished his Engineering Bachelors in three yrs. You'll say it's not Nigeria. Granted. But it was one Nigerian who along with other conformists that agreed that Engineering programmes be 5 yrs in Nigeria. It's a subjective decision. A little reasonable But not clearly objective. Engineering is Valuable because of it's extensive contributions to society not because you stay in school for 5 yrs. I'll like to see a study that tells us why the Engineering programme cannot be 4 yrs. Or if indeed 5 yr tenure TRULY adds to the quality of such programmes. I know. You probably never read my response. |
Ninethmare:First of all OP, Is your grouse the fact that Doctors get to start at level 12 thereby earning more or it is that you, an "Engineer" gets to share the same level with "lowly" 4yr degree holders? You are essentially asking for level playing Field with one hand and then putting down others with the other hand. Isn't that Condescending by you ? By the way, put aside Engineering as a course compared to other 4yr courses, What have you Engineered yourself to warrant a special treatment by the society ? Should honour be bestowed on you by virtue of just graduating from Engineering school? Before answering your question I think you should come down from your high horses a bit. Or at least stoop to conquer. No one owes US anything. Now to the question. I have said this before too. The primary reason why Medicine enjoys the privileges it does(I don't dispute its 'reputation' as a [Generally, back to this shortly] challenging course) is due to the extensive nature or regulations in the profession. Essentially, these regulations among other things, tends to REGULATE SUPPLY and dictate employment relationships for most of its practitioners in the society. When/if the Medical profession liberalizes its extensive regulations including, but not limited to the admission quota per session for institutions and other supply levers, the Medical profession in Nigeria would be much less prestigious as it is now. A few other functional professions could achieve similar levels of prestige if they adopt similar regulatory/employment approach to their profession. A few are starting to. Back to medicine being "generally" challenging. This is very true. The course content, housmanships/residency etc can be very gruelling. Many drop out. However THERE are still Mediocre Medical doctors today in Nigeria. They are, I suppose, certified by Medical institutions. But they are nonetheless ineffective. Sadly due to prestige these ones are put at the same level with other Medical practitioners because they all posses the same common denominator — A certificate. What's my point ? Professions should liberalize the assessment of true value to society. Allow society to guage on an individual level who brings value to the society and reward same. Not groups. Individuals. If you always have to show what you graduated in (your certificate) to prove your value, I doubt if you're truly a professional. A TRUE professional leaves people with little doubt about who they are WITHOUT recourse to showing certificates. Again drop the Entitlement. You're no better. You're no less. If your "Engineering" degree (which is great by the way) is the zenith of human achievement then how were people who themselves were not engineers able to design the Engineering degrees we have today. Or did an Engineer design the Engineering programme? |
jendhorlee:Hahaha! But really But is sounding foreign a proxy for being good to you? Is it possible that a number of local artistes have unknowningly slipped you(Knowledge of them as local artist es) by sounding foreign? |
Aboguede:I don't know anything about this story BUT: Obama is CERTAINLY NOT as he was before though. Every past US president is assigned a number of Secret Service agents for life. See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Former_Presidents_Act Yes. all Men are probably equal before God. BUT here on Earth, Obama's life would never be the same again and all men are apparently not assessed equally (At least here on Earth). |
Westsida:Really? wow ! never knew this. |
Nairasurplus:It's not about stopping misfortune. It's about gaining perspective. The hassles and bustles of life sometimes makes one lose sight of what's important. Weighty issues give way to pointless struggles. Pain or in this case near Misfortunes gives us a refreshed perspective. In a twinkle of an eye one immediately realizes what matters most from the sea of irrelevance. Personally it tends to make most(including me) closer to God. God help me. |
iyke926:Not really. these days there are young people barely 30 becoming Bank Managers particularly in places like Access Bank and GTBank. I really don't know about First Bank though. By the way, the Man in the story was referred to as a Customer Relationship Manager not Bank Manager. Except if both roles can overlap. |
elantraceey:Really ? Is Consent valid below the legal CONSENSUAL age ? Or is being Hausas what made theirs wrong? |
