Forgiving is an act of the New Testament.... brought in by Christ to counter the eye-for-an-eye-policy of the Old testament. Forgiving means not harbouring any intentions for vengeance. I dont think it has to do with forgetting.

You were right about the carrier fleet. I also believe they have mine layers that can lay mines blocking any coastal approach to the carrier. It would be a better strategy to deploy fighter jets with air-to-ship missiles (a la Falklands style). They still have a susceptibility to this type of attack if enough jets can be launched.

Imagine creating UAVs to use air-to-ship missiles similar to the Exocet missile. That could be hazardous.

I dont think we need an aircraft carrier. They are mostly for ops and conflicts far away from the countrys mainland. Most of our conflicts are internal or mainland Africa. We need some naval vessels to prevent bunkering. Much smaller, faster vessels should be used to easily intercept bunkerers and militants in the niger delta region.

We should also get UAVs. We need to invest more in our military equipment, weapons, armour, APCs, tanks etc.

In regards to the mother issue. I do not believe she spiritually killed the child. What if the child died of food poisoning (the child would have died regardless of her curses). What if the child died of other unrelated issues.

Dreams are natural, complicated and caused by bio-chemical as well as psychological processes. Look into your sleep patterns, foods eaten prior to sleep, what is on your mind near bedtime etc.

I dont think we have much choice. There will always be a religion. What would be preferrable is a religion that does not enslave, is hard to corrupt, and brings out the best in ppl... aka a non-abrahamic faiths
