PoliticsRe: Militants Shift Attack To Bayelsa, Bomb Pipeline; Demand Release Of Kanu, Dasuki by babadee1(m): 5:59pm On May 18, 2016
thekingisback:
PMB has used his own hands to cause problems for not just himself but the entire Nigeria. Implementation of the 2014 confab is the only way forward for this country.
I wonder why the last administration presided over by a Niger Deltan did not implement the report of the confab that it itself created.
PoliticsRe: Why Exactly Was GEJ Voted Out? by babadee1(m): 4:43pm On May 18, 2016
mekaboy:
They said he is a fraud, insensitive and does not care about Nigerians. That's why he wants to remove subsidy.

Today they have removed it.

They said he increased fuel to 97. Today it's 150 and above.

They said 5000 MW of electricity generated under him was poor and fixing power is not rocket science.

Today we hardly have up to 2000.

They said dollar was selling at 250 and we can't survive it. Today it's 350.

They said his agriculture initiatives was not good enough. Today a bag of rice sells for thrice the price.

They said there r no jobs. Today even those that have jobs have lost it.

They complained about inflation at about 7-9% , today it is 13.7%.

They said his economic growth and position was fake
today we are sliding to recession.

So what exactly was the crime he committed ? What exactly have we changed to ? Were people feed up of good governance and wanted bad? Or where they deceived?
You wailers will never cease to amuse. All the things you listed up there what do you think caused it? You think Buhari just came into power one day, waved a magic wand and the entire economy began to deteriorate overnight or what? Everything we're suffering today started from GEJ and the preceding administrations. That is the absolute FACT! Buhari didn't cause the problem he just hasn't solved it yet.
The only international market open to our country is oil. That market has totally collapsed. At the same time the previous administration wasted our foreign reserves on frivolous spending and corrupt practices. They refused to save or plan for the future. So don't be surprised that we are where we are today. The story would have been the same regardless of who won due to the lack of foresight exhibited during the previous years of plenty.
PoliticsRe: 6 Chibok Girls Are Dead, Others Married Off To Boko Haram Commanders by babadee1(m): 4:28pm On May 18, 2016
uwa244:
But am wondering how true this story is. We have read previously that whenever the captured girls are coming out to fetch firewood, that the Bokos escort them to avoid escape. How come this Amina was alone when the vigilante group found her and her baby? Funny!
She wasn't alone read the news or watch the television news reports. She was with her Boko Haram husband who was supposed to be guarding her. Obviously they ran away together, probably because access to food and supplies to Sambisa forest has been completely cut off by the Nigerian military.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Has Degenerated Since You Took Over-fasehun Tells Buhari by babadee1(m): 1:20am On May 18, 2016
Isn't this the same old man that was begging Buhari to pay him the millions of dollars promised to him by GEJ some time ago? Obviously PMB didn't agree to pay and now it's payback time. What a pity.

It's both stale and false. This same fake list has been circulating around the internet for over ten years now.

I'd rather Donald Duke. He put calabar on the map...everyone started copying calabar festival. Did the whole transformation without staining his reputation.

We are tired of rogues as leaders.
I can never forgive Obasanjo for not supporting Donald Duke to be president, he would have been phenomenal. Instead Baba Iyabo wanted his boys there who would bow to him and do his bidding. Almost immediately they ended up marginalizing him.
PoliticsRe: Tompolo: Emami Ayiri Is Lying Against Me! by babadee1(m): 11:46am On May 17, 2016
cktheluckyman:
Nope if Buhari is man enough,he should find him or better put an end to the oil vandalisation. You don't even see the mocking tone in Tompolo's letter. He is making a fool of Buhari
You're making mouth now, but when they capture the guy you will be the first to say that Buhari is wicked.
PoliticsRe: After Watching Buhari On CNN, I Can't Stop Laughing by babadee1(m): 12:56am On May 17, 2016
plaetton:
This is a much better argument if true.

But, the President Said on world television that people Sat down like in a dinner table and shared $2.2b, and kept emphasizing it.

And this is my point all along.

Funds were looted.
Exaggerations are unnecessary.

The government does not have to exaggerate and milk it for its shock value.
It undermines their efforts, and some would say, motives.
It's not an exaggeration. Think of it more as a metaphor or a figure of speech to illustrate the nonchalance of the people who stole such humongous amounts wily nily with no fear of consequences or repercussions. Those people are the problem not what the president said.
PoliticsRe: After Watching Buhari On CNN, I Can't Stop Laughing by babadee1(m): 12:09am On May 17, 2016
plaetton:
There has been Zero evidence, Zilch, that anyone collected $2.1b and misappropriated, let alone shared.

Infact, the entire Nigerian defence budget lies in that neighborhood, and has hardly ever exceeded that amount in any given year.

To say that they collected and shared $2.1b is equivalent to saying that some group of people looted the entire Nigerian defence budget ,,. Which is a boldface LIE.

The NSA, under Dasuki, misappropriated , according to publicly available records, about $322m or so.

Yet, everyday, the propaganda machinery keeps pumping out $2.1b theft.
The president never said the $2.1b was stolen by Dasuki alone. That's the total amount stolen from the defence budget not in one year but over the five years of Jonathan's administration. The Dasuki probe has spread out into all the arms of the military and that is the total amount at stake.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Now Officially An Oil Producing State- Ambode by babadee1(m): 8:50pm On May 16, 2016
My people please let's stop celebrating oil, there's nothing to celebrate there anymore. It is old dirty technology, it's harmful to the environment and it's no longer so profitable. It's just a matter of time before it will no longer be in demand.
TravelRe: Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport To Be Closed, Says Minister by babadee1(m): 8:40pm On May 16, 2016
iflywithbuhari:
So if the road that leads to your house is damaged, the Local government should temporarily evict you, so they can make repairs.
The fact that you would compare a damaged local road to a damaged runway shows the level of ignorance we're dealing with here. Planes from all over the world carrying thousands of passengers use the runway at Nnamdi Azikiwe airport daily.
Runways are closed for repairs all the time, it's a routine thing. Ideally there should be multiple runways so when one is closed others can be used but thanks to the naija factor we don't have that.
TravelRe: Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport To Be Closed, Says Minister by babadee1(m): 8:22pm On May 16, 2016
iflywithbuhari:
The same way potholes and bad roads does not warrant the lockdown of an airport. This has tribalism and hate written all over it.
Lmao. Tribalism and hate for closing down the international airport in Abuja for repairs? Who is the hate directed at? PMB, the ministers or the national assembly?
PoliticsRe: I Will Not Allow An Arrogant President To Insult My Country - Dino Maleye (vid) by babadee1(m): 5:51pm On May 16, 2016

PoliticsRe: Second Term Agenda: Would U Vote 4 Buhari Again??? by babadee1(m): 5:34pm On May 16, 2016
pabjo:
speaking as if PDP have done half of what we are facing.
Everything we're facing today is the doing of PDP and I mean that 100%. If they had not squandered our foreign reserves so terribly things wouldn't be this bad now. 16 years in power and not one single plan for the rainy days. No diversification agenda, no long term infrastructural developments, no serious attempt to tackle corruption and recover stolen funds. And you're saying they should come back. To do what na?
If APC doesn't get their act together and find solutions for the mess PDP put us in then another party will take over, but definitely not PDP.
PoliticsRe: Second Term Agenda: Would U Vote 4 Buhari Again??? by babadee1(m): 5:21pm On May 16, 2016
If PDP is still the major opposition party in 2019 then yes I would. No way for PDP, at least for the foreseeable future.
PoliticsRe: Buhari And Wike Meet In Abuja, At The Presidential Villa by babadee1(m): 5:12pm On May 16, 2016
Quakertellicus1:
I don't necessarily like APC , after all they are not doing what I want them to do....get us off oil permanently.

But every time I see this ''Buhari is a'' comments....I wonder what else the people who want to be our Opposition on Nairaland have to say.

Can you give us concrete and correct critiques of the government beyond ''Buhari is a dullard''? Because.....I am getting tired of an opposition that has absolutely nothing to say.....other than get ''revenge'' for perceived or non-perceived ''hurts''.

You people should give us a principled and intellectual opposition of ideas and alternatives, not an opposition of puerile insults that make you no better than those who called GEJ names without giving us their ideas.

We want something better from you than just insults and memes. You are capable of that.
I agree with everything you wrote except that they are capable of principled and intellectual opposition. These people are suffering from Buhari Derangement Syndrome. They have a psychological aversion to President Buhari and can only express their opposition to him in emotional ways. They are capable of nothing else.

Are Kano people now regretting the over 1.9million votes they gave to Buhari or these are the part of the over 2 hundred thousand voters supporting PDP then?
There are few people in that picture. Do they look like they represent 1.9 million votes?

the way konji is attacking some pastors now ehn...in wizkid voice ** i cant explain ehhhhehhhehh**
Having sex with a prepubescent child has nothing to do with "konji". It's a very destructive mental illness called paedophilia. That useless old man so called pastor had access to plenty of cheap grown up prostitutes but instead chose to defile an innocent child. He deserves no mercy.
PoliticsRe: 14 Ways We Are Worse Off Since Buhari Became President by babadee1(m): 5:11pm On May 15, 2016
These points are all signs of a recession. The questions should be: What caused the recession? What are the associated factors that have worsened its effects? What is the ultimate long-term solution?

unless anyone is convicted of corruption, their properties cannot be seized or forfeited to the FG.Ibori might likely lose assets linked to his corruption conviction in the UK,Diezani on the othe rhand has not been convicted and is not even facing trial.
That is not true. Abacha and his family were never convicted of corruption but several countries have repatriated funds linked to them back to Nigeria. If there is evidence that the funds and properties are from the Nigerian treasury then that is all that is required.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: Buhari Not Hot In Economic Affairs by babadee1(m): 8:59pm On May 14, 2016

Daahhhh!!!

And yet you supported him to preside over the affairs of this very complex country for 4 years ?

That makes you , OBJ, the traitor in chief of the Nigerian people.
He supported Buhari because Jonathan is worse. Period. Jonathan na bad market. Forget about him and let's all join hands to move Nigeria forward.

Tolexander:
The funny thing is when the baby grows up, she will be covering her breasts from us, not knowing we have already seen the breasts when she was a year old.
What breasts? A one year old has nothing that can even be suggested to be breasts. The way we Nigerians sexualize young children so blatantly is very disgusting. Even if she was completely naked, only a crazy pervert would have a problem with it.

PoliticsRe: Lai Mohammed Leaked Letter To NBC: Ministry Reveals Reasons For N13 Million Loan by babadee1(m): 6:16pm On May 14, 2016
Over 2.5 million naira per person to go to China for how many months? At most the duration of the trip is a few days and there's no reason why they should be staying in five star hotel suites. Corruption remains ever present in the Nigerian system and President Buhari must personally address this issue.

@OP,please give us the criteria for this rating and not just using 'polluted'. Is it noise pollution, environmental pollution, etc.

You don't just post something without write-ups to back your claims.

Until you edit your post and give us the bases of those ranking, your post remains null and void.

I can even see umuahia there and I hope it is not what am thinking?
You no see Kaduna there?

Interestingly he always separated Lagos from Western Nigeria.

Western Region and Lagos
Actually by saying Western Region and Lagos he was joining them together. In comparison with the Northern, Eastern and Mid-West Regions which were discrete but separate blocs, the Western Region and Lagos were also discrete but separate blocs on their own.
