So also, herders deserve funds/support to setup ranches. Yes, many herders are rich but money get levels. Only the oil, tech and pastorpreneurship industries can afford a project like RUGA with little or no support from FG.

Why should the FG support ranching with our money? The SE farmers are not demanding for fund to start farming, they are only demanding for compensation for the destruction of their farmlands by the evil herders.

I think he's trying to say we should look at the reason why Yorubas had to fight the fulanis back in the first place, because they started the wahala. Negotiating and taking the ransom was a risky adventure indeed, but it'll be hard to live with the thought that their brother would have been spared if only they paid, it's a loss-loss situation indeed, I'm sure they'll sleep better knowing they tried their best. Very sad situation
